(This was from over the summer, so the details are a bit hazy.) Stopped by on a whim after a long day of kayaking looking for something of hearty substance. Enter their homemade lasagna. I chose to eat in which seemed to throw the guy at the counter for a moment but after that brief eyebrow raise, there were no issues. You start with a salad and some "garlicy" bread. The bread was toasted nicely and from what I remember soaked in butter with some type of seasoning applied to the butter. The salad....well....it's a salad. I'm never a fan and it was no different than any salad you would get when ordering from a local red sauce Italian restaurant. The lasagna was a solid portion and there were no issues with that or with how it was constructed. Multiple layers of pasta/sauce/cheese. One oddity was it looked like they attempted to melt a slice of American on top, and it was at best, partially melted. Very odd looking. As a few others have mentioned, it's basically self-serve if you eat in since they seem to be very busy with handling takeout orders. The food was brought to their front counter and then I got the head nod that it was mine to pick up. One plus was the nice delicacy of having Guer's tea in the fridge case. I was looking for a Zimmy since Nesquehoning is certainly close enough to Lehighton, but I don't remember seeing any. Either way, good enough. Overall, as I mentioned prior, this is your classic local jack of all trades red sauce Italian joint that every town has a few of. Very large menu at reasonable pricing and the staff I encountered were decent enough. It's not a go out of your way place, but if I lived in town, I'm sure this would be a go-to spot. read more

I find this one of the best pizza places in this area, as far as this place is concerned, it's the best pizza place in that town guaranteed.. They have a lot of specialty pizzas which are very interesting and done very well, they put on a hefty amount of ingredients and cook everything very well. Nice bunch of guys I definitely recommend you can eat in or take it to go go either way you should enjoy this pizza. If you're from Jim Thorpe and you never had this pizza you should give it a try it's a quick drive and I think worth the trip. read more

Amazing Bufallo piaza and wings overall just great

Always like to stop in here for lunch when I'm in the area. The Bacon, Chicken, Ranch pizza is my favorite and that's all I pretty much get every time I get here. Crust has a bit of crunch to it and not too thick or thin. The have a few pies out that you can buy slices from and usually they have the Bacon, Chicken, and Ranch pizza available as slices. If you are not in the mood for pizza, they have many other items from salads, hot/cold hoagies, calzones, etc. They have a little seating area if you want to dine-in, but it's pretty much self service. Will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in Nesquehoning. read more

I ordered twice first time the chicken ceaser was gross, dried lettuce, dry chicken, horriable.. the second time I was hoping the family combo would be better, I ordered the two subs with mayo and neither had mayo, dried lettus and when I called a barley speaking English guy answered and basically said "oh well" .. save your money go to Marco's or Luigies in tamaqua delivers.. I will never pay for their food again.... worst ever not worth the money. read more

Love this place! The slices are as close to New York as anything else around here. I'm a regular and the owner is great - chats and makes sure your food is great. I brought four others the last time I dined in and we were all very happy. Only lose one star because delivery isn't consistent. Sometimes their driver doesn't show up so you're sol. Great food! I don't give a good review if a restaurants rolls are not acceptable, and these are. Amazing hoagies and cheese-steaks! The pizza is more than palatable. When ordering extra cheese on a pizza, they don't skimp! If you're a fan of meat-lovers, this is a need to try. Everything has been great. If you're in Nesquehoning and find yourself in the mood for Pizza, Cheese-steaks, Hoagies, ect... this is the place to go. I always have gotten great service until tonite! I was highly disappointed when I ordered and had my boyfriend pick up our dinner for when i was done work. First he went to pick it up and got out to his truck and called me to see if it was right, it wasnt. So he went back in and they gave him what they thought was the correct bag with our name on it so he brought it home. I get home shortly there after and it totally was wrong! I called to let them know and they said they'd correct it and would deliver it, well, an hour and a half later no order! I called and guess what?, they were freakin closed and i got no dinner and they never called! NICE!! I will never ever go there again! I recently ordered from Rosetta's and had my order delivered. Upon getting my order and handing out the food to everyone took notice that part of our ordered was missing. We immediately called the restaurant and informed them we were missing items from our order. The man that answered the phone first tells his associate that the man on the phone is claiming he never got his dinner and hands the phone off to him. After speaking with the second person I was told that there driver has another order going to my town and will have her bring it up. An hour later we called back and we were met with ignorance and told that it was delivered. Keeping in mind we placed an 80 dollar order we are now being accused of trying get a free dinner. After asking to talk to a manager we were told there was none there. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

So, let's start off by saying this place used to be great... There used to be a guy behind the counter that was very friendly and the food was great... That guy is no longer there and since then the food has gone downhill big time... They have the guy making your pizza, then ringing you up and straight back to making the pizza without washing his hands (very unsanitary). In addition, we went to pay for our dinner, (which they took the money after we ate) and the bill was much higher than anticipated. We kindly brought it to their attention and they responded back, boss raised prices. I asked where the price increases were located and they responded back that it wasn't. I asked them to please get the boss on the phone and they responded back, no it is sunday, it is her day off. I mean, I do understand every place has price increases from time to time, but no where and I mean NO WHERE was it posted anywhere or marked in any of the menus. Luckily, I had the extra money on me, but my heart goes out to the family that walks in that responsibly looks at the prices and has just enough on them. Honestly, that is very poor business and they ripped me off and lost my business... I wonder how many people go there and don't even know they are being ripped off? I do not recommend this place to even a stranger! read more
