I believe it is fair to give all your customers the flash sale deal since we all do spend our money on their mission. Hopefully they listen to their customers! I have the online app so I went to coupons or deals, (whatever it was called) and what popped up was five dollars off $25 & $10 off $30. I knew I had over $30 worth of items. I double checked the coupon and it said it's good until June 13. It did not say only good on weekends or Saturdays or whatever their policies might be, that I never have used too much. So I asked the cashier & showed her my phone with the coupon she says, " no this is only for Saturday". I said ,it doesn't have that on here. says that it's good until June 13. I'm thinking maybe it's a special coupon to get me a shop there more often or something. She said 'well I'm telling you it's not good till Saturday'. Then she summoned over another cashier who looked very annoyed & didn't want to be bothered with me and my ignorance of the store policies. She replied 'it's not good 'and walked away. At this point, I was a little put off by the attitude I was getting from both of them. It wasn't kind or helpful. The cashier kept saying ma'am in a very belittling manner. So I asked if theres a manager or somebody we could ask about it. She said 'ma'am, that WAS the manager and she said you can't do it.' I realized as I was checking out that this will be the last time I'll be in this store. There's other stores and there's other DG's The behavior is apparently accepted by management here, but I don't have to accept it.

I stopped going to that store and started going to Home Rd store but I got some coupons for Park Rd Dollar General and I used them because I took them to the store toward Upper Valley Mall and the coupons were only good for Park Rd. This makes the 4th negative experience at Park Rd. Do not send me any coupons anymore because I'm not going to use them. There are too many other stores to shop at. Meijer, Walmart, Ollies, Roses, Rural King, Aldi, Kroger, Dollar Tree stores, the other Dollar Stores (not General). I had to ask the manager (Carla) who had her back to me until I asked her if she was the cashier then the other girl, whom I usually like but when a cashier is too lazy to swing the bagged item around to the customer instead of reaching over the device while she talks to someone she obviously knew was rude. I know what rude is and they are sour women.

You can't count on getting a spot here! They fill up quickly and 2 or 3 are filled with people who don't have a placard and probably wouldn't qualify! Younger people, 18-30ish have decided this is "privileged or entitled" parking intended for them. They ignore the 80 yr old man who can barely walk and needed a handicap spot. Not sure why kroger doesn't try to get the traffic cop to stop once in a while. Anyway, not their fault but the parking spots are unequal for the men & women that need them! As for the inside of Kroger, this kind of goes along with the parking outside. Because there are so many people with trolleys doing pick up orders in the aisles that you can't get around them. I don't know that they're employees of Kroger, probably not, but they are pretty rude and make no effort to help with anything. The other issues that stand out are the lack of sale items available. Went to buy chicken- buy 1 get 1 free. Nope, and not for the two other times we stopped. They have minimal items on sale but available and offer no substitutions. Last but not least, don't plan on your prescriptions to be ready just because you called 2 days ago! Lines of half a dozen people are waiting patiently. The staff who work the register in the pharmacy, mosey over, get all the info and tell you it s not ready. Wait another 20 minutes, It will eventually be ready The moral of this story is, if you shop here come prepared! Go to the pharmacy first, wait it out, then get a cart and maneuver through isles where you'll not find everything you wanted/needed. This site desperately needs to be a kroger home store or super store, not sure what it's actually called. It's very obvious they're making a ton of cash! Reinvest Kroger!! Please!!

In…read morethe year since we moved to this area, we have used Derr Road Kroger on average at least weekly even though Bechtle Ave Kroger is closer. The parking lot, aisles and wheelchair spacing are all better. They have a deli and meat counter. We use pickup orders 60% of the time and I can't remember any mistakes; maybe once? And everyone I've met doing curbside are super friendly and respectful. This whole team just really works at it. They however should improve the carts and wheelchair carts situation. Too many large carts, wheelchair carts are dilapidated and not enough space for them at the front. If you're a sr citizen, I suggest to avoid rush hour there!
