I'm surprised to see this store has a low rating, although a lot of the reviews are very old. In the year since we moved to this area, we have used Derr Road Kroger on average at least weekly even though Bechtle Ave Kroger is closer. The parking lot, aisles and wheelchair spacing are all better. They have a deli and meat counter. We use pickup orders 60% of the time and I can't remember any mistakes; maybe once? And everyone I've met doing curbside are super friendly and respectful. This whole team just really works at it. They however should improve the carts and wheelchair carts situation. Too many large carts, wheelchair carts are dilapidated and not enough space for them at the front. If you're a sr citizen, I suggest to avoid rush hour there! read more

Kroger pharmacy is garbage. Treat patients like crap. They've ran me around 3 time in the last couple of weeks. Had some other rudeness last Sunday. I called this past Tuesday and was told insurance would pay for this rx Friday. Today(Friday) I was told my rx would be ready in 30. Then I get here and they're super arrogant and was told not today. Going to different pharmacy now but I have go without blood pressure meds for a few days because of krogers. Horrible people. Go see a dumpster as it will have better service. read more

I placed an online order for my son's birthday cake. The day of we go to pick it up and we find out that they didn't have the cake we ordered so instead of calling me and asking what we wanted instead they took it upon themselves to replace it. They didn't offer to fix our problem at all. The employee just said they should have called if they didn't have it. I am very disappointed and my son is very disappointed. I get so disturbed when I go into this store, but it starts outside as well. Six Handicapped spots but a dozen or so spots to park in for pick-ip. Need a handicap space? You can't count on getting a spot here! They fill up quickly and 2 or 3 are filled with people who don't have a placard and probably wouldn't qualify! Younger people, 18-30ish have decided this is "privileged or entitled" parking intended for them. They ignore the 80 yr old man who can barely walk and needed a handicap spot. Not sure why kroger doesn't try to get the traffic cop to stop once in a while. Anyway, not their fault but the parking spots are unequal for the men & women that need them! As for the inside of Kroger, this kind of goes along with the parking outside. Because there are so many people with trolleys doing pick up orders in the aisles that you can't get around them. I don't know that they're employees of Kroger, probably not, but they are pretty rude and make no effort to help with anything. The other issues that stand out are the lack of sale items available. Went to buy chicken- buy 1 get 1 free. Nope, and not for the two other times we stopped. They have minimal items on sale but available and offer no substitutions. Last but not least, don't plan on your prescriptions to be ready just because you called 2 days ago! Lines of half a dozen people are waiting patiently. The staff who work the register in the pharmacy, mosey over, get all the info and tell you it s not ready. Wait another 20 minutes, It will eventually be ready The moral of this story is, if you shop here come prepared! Go to the pharmacy first, wait it out, then get a cart and maneuver through isles where you'll not find everything you wanted/needed. This site desperately needs to be a kroger home store or super store, not sure what it's actually called. It's very obvious they're making a ton of cash! Reinvest Kroger!! Please!! read more

I shop here a few times a week and sometimes a price is wrong and when I told the skinny black haired elderly lady working there the blackberries rang up 3.99 instead of 3.49 she said I must have forgot to clip the digital coupon, so I told her it was just on sale and not a digital coupon. She ignored what I said and went through all the digital coupons trying to find the private select blackberries and said it was not on digital sale. I told her again it was not a digital sale so she looked at her paper ad and found them on sale for 3.49 but she said those must be a different blackberry package that I had in my cart. She then told me I could go take a picture of the blackberries and bring it back to her if I wanted the sale price. So I was quite frustrated and left. It is not the 50 cent difference that mattered to me at all but the argumentative nature of the sales clerk who refused to give me the price on what was clearly in the ad. This is the 2nd time in the last 2 weeks I have been treated poorly, and as a senior citizen I would expect better from this store. read more

I have had enough of this store! They are out of something on my list 100% of the times I go there. I'm talking about basic stuff. Today it was tomato sauce and 1 lb. bags of rice (it would take me several years to eat one of their 5 lb. bags) . Last time it was whole milk. MILK! Employees shopping for other customers with their gargantuan shopping trucks always block me from getting something from shelves... you know... assuming something is even on the shelf. I don't know if the store's manager is cutting hours lately or if s/he is just bad at managing the place, but, even though I live 2 minutes away, I'm going to start shopping somewhere else. Wouldn't give them this high but can't go lower than 1. Kroger on Derr Road in springfield is really bad for their chicken wings. We have ordered wings (60 at a time - half regular breaded & half spicy) from them on 4 different occasions. The first time to be picked up at 1 PM, weren't ready, hadn't even been started at pick up time. They said there wasn't a pick up time on the order sheet, but my contact info was there and they didn't bother to call to check! The next time, again wasn't ready, but were in process. Both types were mixed in together with no separation from regular and spicy (hit and miss - some people can't eat spicy food, so had to get something else for them. Third time, to my surprise, they were ready, but were all spicy (order sheet specifically said half and half and separated (I saw the order sheet)! Now this time, I called to see if the order was going to be ready for pick up, and they said yes, but they didn't have the breaded wings (like we ordered) and they didn't have any spicy wings! I have no idea why it is so hard to get orders done on time and correct! And if there is a problem, call, that is why there is a contact number!!!! Very last time we will order wings from Krogers. Unreliable!!!! If you want your wings done right and on time, I can not recommend this Kroger store!! read more

Springfield, Ohio. I come to this pharmacy because it is close to home. I have had problems with them not having certain meds in stock even though I regularly get them filled there. Sometimes the employees act like the customer is a bother. There is usually a 20-30 minute wait on new prescriptions. read more

Staff isn't friendly, often out of common medications, and very slow. Would not recommend this pharmacy.
