Good experience getting an oil change today, that ended up with new tire, tire pressure sensors and valve stems (TPMS), and wiper blades. I got there at 7:30 for an oil change, no appointments, first come first serve. I wanted the tires rotated, but that can't happen, due to Walmart policy, since they were dry rotted, I was told. Tires are 6 years old and needing replaced, which usually mean research, and trying to find the best deal on Michelins. So I asked for a tire quote and said I wanted all new valve too. Quick quote, no Michelins, they have Goodyears, was told last week the Goodyears were discounted due to Black Friday, of course, so I did a quick internet search.... price for the Goodyear tires seemed in line with other "tire" places so I said OK. When can you get me in, we'll we have an 8am appointment, but if they don't show up, your next, it,'s 8am and the oil change is done. I'm told they give a 15min. grace period. Well the 8am doesn't show up.....I'm right in. Next issue is my 08' Accord has one piece valve stem and TPMS, they only have three, but they call the other Walmart in Springfield, bam they have the one piece TPMS I need. Walmart does not have runners, so I call, Richelle, tell here the story and say we can go to breakfast after the part transportation trip. Richelle picks me up, we do a round trip, when I get back I'm told the other tire will be done in 20min. We go to breakfast at Studebaker's, and I got the text that the job is done. Accord has new shoes. I got text updates the whole time. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Thanks to the 8am who didn't show up, so go early. read more

First of all I have an issue with Walmart because they fired my brother after he got severe pneumonia and almost died from frostbite and had to have surgery on his lungs after he was careflighted. He was missing a hospital discharge paper and the guy that usually is the manager was not the manager that day my brother tried to come back to work and he fired him while he gave him the choice of resigning so he would get his 401k or he would just fire him on the spot. Just because he didn't have an emergency room discharge paper which is insane. My brother almost died for God's sake and gave Walmart 21 years of his life didn't call off but twice in 21 years. So I don't like them because of that but also I am banned from the store on becthle Avenue because as a homeless person I think a lot of places look for any reason to ban you but what's crazy and I still have my receipt as I spent $162.34 in that store I then left and put in the hair dye that I had just bought and I went outside and then my head started burning literally burning so I ran inside to rinse it out because it was an emergency so a customer complained to an employee and the customer or sorry the employee rather came in and so what are you doing I said I'm rinsing my hair dye out I'm not staining the sink it's blonde you see any stain whom am I bothering? She said well we had a customer complaint because not everyone can breathe the chemicals I said I understand that ma'am but my head is on fire she said you're going to have to leave right now I said well okay then I'll go to the hospital because you won't let me rinde it out and my head's on fire so I went to the hospital I had to call the squad and I actually had chemical burns on my head because I could not rinse it out until I got to the emergency room and they rinsed it out for me and then I was in the ICU for 3 days because of the severity of the burn and the pain. But yeah being banned from Walmart is just another day in the life of a homeless person even if you spend over $150 in there they want to ban you because you don't make the place look good and I understand I am homeless not by choice but If I may say...Come on Walmart you even banned Damon Darling and all he ever did was help people and give them money to buy you're overpriced crap in your store. So I hope more people do go to groceryland or Target or Aldi or anywhere but Walmart because the way they treated me I just felt like complete scum. And I was in so much pain having to go to the hospital because they wouldn't let me rinse it out I mean come on Walmart what are we doing? You're firing long time employees that took two days off in 21 years and my guess is you're hiring a bunch of Haitians that are making people like me homeless. I just don't know who you think you are Walmart and yes I'm a whistleblower and yes I know many people with similar stories because if nothing changes nothing changes. read more

Walmart in Springfield Ohio on Bechtle ave time 11:54 am called to schedule a oil change in the service dept for Thursday 29,2026 made appt for 12:30 pm,realized that I forgot to add a tire rotation so I called right back within a minute to schedule rotation for same service,and was told I could not add any additional service cause it was already scheduled so I tried to cancel that appointment and move it to later on that day and the service representative said I still couldn't add a rotation I would have to ask at the time of my appointment to see if the technician is in the mood or if the service representative is having a good day in order to get my tires rotate. I was in the Becthle store today. No problems. Several times stockers noticed I was looking for items. They all offered help. When I didnt appear to be looking for an item they just greeted me as family. Thus the 4 stars instead of 3 that I originally considered. I also liked that I saw several people with mobility issues working there. I also liked that they stock products I use in San Diego. The store was clean and for the most part well organized. Absolutely terrible. With a group in Walmart and everything was fine until after we checked out. A buddy of mine found $20 completely unattended, and a manager completely swarmed him and said she would call the police if he didn't give it to her immediately. Even the security guard working said that if it were up to him, the money would be my buddy's. Terrible staff and management. 99% sure we saw her pocket the money afterwards. read more

Just tried grocery home delivery for the first time and ....wow! I am so pleasantly surprised at how easy and nice this was! I only go to Walmart for some particular items my family asks for that Kroger never has and I needed printer ink so I thought since I can easily spend $50 bucks on that, I'd try home delivery, which just became available in my area. The app isn't confusing but I always screw up something after the fact and apparently they have checked that they can substitute things you order unless you catch that- and uncheck it if you're picky( like me). So I wrote no substitutions and had to after the fact go back and edit no substitutions but I still had one upon delivery. To be completely fair it was 3 times the value of what I ordered and it was just juice for kids so they won't care too much. They just always ask me for the same flavor and they sent me a case of assorted in place of an 8 pack ( juice box). So, I'm not complaining but I just need to be cautious I guess if it's really something important. I asked for delivery between 9a-10a and they texted AND called at 9, we're there within minutes after! Very prompt! After delivery they sent me a request to tip my driver but I had already cash tipped her. She was very polite and no problems there either. All in all a very good experience and the first three times delivery is free with promo code FRUITCAR ( strange promo but saves about $8). I also think it saved me an unknown amount of other money since I am an impulse shopper and this will help that- hurt them, but help me! Definitely will do this again! read more

I found out the hard way, that you need to make sure you have all the equipment that is supposed to come with a cell phone before you buy it. I took mine back and they were rude and behaving as if I were a criminal! I was directed to the layaway section finally. They finally decided I wasn't a criminal and my money was refunded and I went back and got a new phone. So far so good, I'm using it to write this review. read more

Bechtle Ave. Never has things stocked. I often have to go to multiple stores to get what I need. Rude staff every time I go there. Today, one of the self checkout cashiers yelled "ARE YOU SERIOUS? HE WAS IN LINE!!" to me as I walked to one of the two open registers after looking to see if anyone was in line and not seeing anyone. I would have appreciated (and expected) a simple "hey, there was someone in line" instead of screaming and attitude right off the bat. Very disrespectful, and a regular occurrence here as I have witnessed it several other times. Would give 0 stars if that were an option. Seems like all their employees need retrained in customer service and respect since those are essential job functions that are significantly lacking at this store. read more

It is what it is, a chain store. It's huge, products are not logically placed, and it's really not that cheap. Amazon subscribe and save has better prices. It's mostly clean. They employ a lot of people from the community but you can't ever find one when you need one and they won't be able to help you anyway. read more

What is with no locks on the bathroom stalls? Parking lot is always crazy full. Prices marked incorrectly. Found a table marked $3 shirt ended up being $4.88, there was a while stack of them on the table. Cashier didn't care it was marked wrong. The isle near bathroom smelled like urine and I asked the associate of they smelled it too and they agreed it smelled bad. I had all 4 tires replaced at Walmart on Bechtle Ave. Some how they scratched al 4 rims real bad. Now my car looks like a tank. I was only able to live chat with some rep somewhere who was unwilling to help me resolve this. Walmart on Bechtle tends to be a bit overzealous with their loss prevention measures. On every single visit to that store over the past 18 months, after checkout and payment, I've been needlessly detained by the greeter, who demands not only to see my receipt, but also goes through my bags to ensure that I paid for every item on the receipt. It happened again yesterday, and I'm fed up with it. I've already complained to corporate, and they suggested that I take it up with the store manager, who (surprise!) never seems to be available. Another irritant is that they NEVER disable the theft protection devices on purchased electronics at checkout. A month ago, I bought a USB hub and a Blu-Ray disc. I pointed asked the cashier to make sure that I don't set off any alarms (again) when I leave. ...And whaddya know? The alarms go off when I try to leave. I really hate taking out my frustrations on the employees -- they're only doing what they're told to do, they're overworked and underpaid and have to take crap from customers all day. But I paid for my items fair and square and I resent being treated as some sort of shoplifter or something. I'm 60, thrice retired, and perfectly capable of paying for the things I want. I used to be a regular customer before this pattern of harassment began. I will discuss this with the manager on my next opportunity. I have just moved here and use Walmart for everything. I was overcharged for something but I went to customer service who adjusted the price and I was issued a credit. I believe food is placed where it should be. Apparently the previous reviewer doesn't shop much. Seemed clean and everyone I spoke to was courteous and very helpful. took me to the isle product was on. Why didn't customer go to management if place smelled. I want to put a warning out to everyone who goes to walmart to get an oil change done.  Wednesday i took my vehicle to walmart to have an oil change done.  The "tech" a word i use very loosely called me back and said he needed me to look at something that was broke on my vehicle.  When we went back to my vehicle i immediately noticed a puddle of transmission fluid on the ground the puddle was big enough that i could have laid down in it and still had room around me ( by the way I'm a little over 5 feet tall).  The guy whose nname tag jist said joe proceeded to tell me that when he went pressurize my system after the oil change the transmission line blew.  I asked for a store manager and asked if they could fix my vehicle at which point i was told walmart could not fix my vehicle nor would they pay to have the vehicle fixed.  A store associatee named dwight took a report and said they would submit a claim to their claims department but walmart does not pay to fix damages to vehicles. I had to pay to have the vehicle towed to another shop.  Today that shop called me and thhe master mechanic at this shop toold me that the transmission line had been bent with a pair of pliers or viscrips so the " tech" could remove the oil filter and when the tech tried to straighten the line back out it broke he said that iss the only way and reason the liine could be broken in that way.  I infoormed the claims agent of. This. But this agent. From walmart has told me its not walmarts fault and they dont pay for mistakes made by their. Employees.  Nor will walmart even admit to the fact that their employee made a mistake. After doing some research i found out the auto techs at walmart are people hired off the street they are not in school for auto tech nor do they have to have any experience working with vehicles i had honestly thought these guys were in the very least going to school for ase certifications. Just a heads up walmart screwed my vehicle up and wont correct their mistake or at the very least own up to their mistake. So if you take your car there beware!!! read more
