Today i went to shop for the sale noticed two people who followed me and my boyfriend around the store. racial profiling us. while shopping and after i checked out paying for my groceries i got photos and license plates of the two people. then after i lefted the store saw troy police going there. i called the store about the problem the manager was rite out rude because they were wrong for falsely accusing some one for stealing but also at the same time a lawsuit is gonna be in place for this incident. and Meijer's is just a store to target innocent people for stealing. in which i hope the manager gets fired also and this is what you call giving the Meijer store bad publicity for false incidents that never happened and harassing a customer. read more

So the customer service at Meijer has gone fishing. And they have a massive array of robots but not real humans to take money out of the community but not return it in the form of wages. I'm not amused with how they treat their employees. I'm not amused with how they seem to view the larger community. Trying to avoid them now. read more

First time at a Meijer. The store contains some department store items and reminds me of a Walmart. We came here to obtain ingredients for our Cinco De Mayo Taco Tuesday. This Meijer is clean and organized well. Not very crowded except for normal peak times. Maybe the nicest Meijer in the Dayton area

We shop here often. The produce is fresh with a large variety to pick from. Today I stopped just for some talc for the pool table. We really like Meijers but frankly they need to step up their game at the registers. There are always long lines and a delay checking out. The self check out lines help but any glitch or alcohol results in waiting for help or authorization. read more

It's official after living in Troy for 2 years and going to that store several times I can say that there is consistent racial profiling. So if you are or look like a Hispanic or minority you will have to contend with a tail walking behind you and watching you from the minute you get into till the minute you leave the store. I am not ok with this so I will not shop there again or in any store that treats me like that. read more

I have visited the store in troy oh many times wanting chicken poppers when they have them on sale for 1 dollar but today add just came out and was TOLD HAVE TO WAIT TILL THEY COME IN ON TRUCK. ASKED WHEN Truck was coming in lady replied maybe Tuesday and also no notes on there icy machines it was coming out watery and coke machine was coming out water but the thing with the chicken poppers is nobody is informed when they have them or don't because I was told both times there would be a wait time on them then told they don't have none read more

I called to as a person at your service desk if you carried Esther Price candy? And the person on the service desk said, carry what? I said do you carry Esther Price Candy? And she said, how do you spell that? I said, don't tell me you don't know what I'm talking about. She said, no I don't know what you're talking about, I'm sorry. Let me look it up. Now, what is it you said you were looking for? I said to her, you are on the customer service desk, and you can't help people. You have no idea what I'm talking about. This is ridiculous, I said. Getting very disappointed with this store. The price of keystone canned meats went up $1 a can (WalMart is cheaper go there to buy it!) AND NO bottled water again! What gives? It's a Friday payday - stock the shelves already! The produce Dept on the other hand seems to be a little better for now but I'm sure they're not cleaning adequately still as it appears grungy. Meijer is a place that has groceries and department store items all under one roof, much like a super Walmart. Being a superstore the prices are pretty good. The grocery selection is good with some hard to find items. Produce selection is good as well as the meats. Good prices on electronics and automotive but only if you are in a one stop shop frame of mind as their are better stuff at specialized stores. Plus it is open 24 hours, just dont hang out in the parking lot late at night and park up close and under a light. read more

Just like Wally world, but I find their prices are always a bit higher. They do have a much better selection on unique foods (like Italian, Mexican, Chinese) and a better selection of wines and the produce out does wally's too. Clothing wise, no big deal here, I think they have scaled back more in this area then they used to have. I love their selection of fruits, nuts, and vegetables! They offer several varieties of nuts in bulk and in bags. It's hard to tell if nuts are fresh until you eat them but all the ones I have bought have been fresh and true to the expected taste. Fruits can also be found in many different varieties even out of season. I love the summer selection best when they have more local or regional offerings. I always look for fruit with a good appearance and that is what they stock. Most of the time the taste matches the appearance. The variety of vegetables is not as varied but taste and appearance are good. They also offer lots of food, clothing, hardware, and sporting goods Items like other super stores. read more

The overall store lay out is good and I don't get overwhelmed looking for groceries. However, the cashiers are not pleasant. They do not speak or even make eye contact with you. It's very uncomfortable when you are the one that continually says hello first and each one just mumbles and grumbles. Tonight's shopping trip was my last with this store. Just like clock work, the cashier looked annoyed and miserable and rang up my stuff all while looking around to see if other cashiers were around to hopefully check out the string of people behind me. I got home and a bottle of dish soap leaked all over the other groceries in the bag, ad well as a container of fruit was dumped out. This store mirrors Wal Mart, and that's not a compliment. read more

Tonight I visited to pick up some aloe plants for our house. I visited pretty late so it was pretty dead and there wasn't very many customers. The store was extremely clean and there wasn't much to complain about. The plant selection is fairly small with their seasonal plants near the front. The selection is small but great though. I didn't see one plant that looked to be dying or sick and almost every plant was in bloom. The large aloe plants I bought my dad were only about 7 bucks each and were in great shape. They had unique types of plants. For example, bamboo, aloe plants, money trees, a wide variety of succulents in very cute little pots shaped as busses cars ect, and they even had shamrock plants for St Patrick's Day. I spent about an hour in here or so and my only complaint is the whole time I was browsing not one worker asked me if I needed help or anything. Other than that great experience. read more
