I stopped in at Rosenheim for lunch a couple of days ago. They have their own parking lot which makes it super convenient. The restaurant was very quiet just a couple of customers. I asked if I could sit outside in their nice courtyard as it wasn't too hot or humid. The server answered all my questions. I ordered the mixed grill. The food came out after a short wait and I was very impressed. In all there were 6 skewers of assorted meats, 2-3 cups of yellow rice, fries, large pita, and a number of dips. This could have easily fed 2-3 people for lunch. The meat was cooked over fire so had that authentic charcoal grilled flavor to it and was very succulent. I had to take most of it home with me. Next time I'll be brining some friends to help me out. Great job guys.
The food was delicious! We came across Rosenheim while walking around Ybor and we're so glad we stopped in. We ordered the grilled meat platter, and everything was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and juicy, the hummus was some of the best I've had, and the tabbouleh was the star of the meal--fresh, bright, and full of flavor. The service was a little slow, but the food was definitely worth the wait.
After 9 months, I left a review, and the owner answered by not apologizing but instead giving a hostile response, saying my accusation was false and blaming me for insulting their employees. First this is not a false accusation your answer me on September after I left the restaurant in my birthday party on December second "socially challenged" is not an insult is an euphemism or gentle descriptor and last but not least I wasn't the only one giving you a review like this in fact you are insulting me telling me your reviews are honest while every 5 seconds you receive a new one in Google. And if I don't left the restaurant and complain you should be smart enough to look after your clientele even, more when it's quiet. Since when the clients have to look after a service is this a joke?
First time visiting this location. The staff was so nice and so fun. The food was delicious and very shareable. They were nice enough to allow us to bring a cake for our friend's birthday. We shared some with staff. The espresso martini I had was fantastic and I can't wait to go back again. We had a hookah outside after dinner.
My friends took me to Rosenheim last Friday as a little pre birthday celebration, and I'm so glad we went. I had been wanting to check it for a while. We arrived just in time for the live music, and the singer was phenomenal. We chose to sit outside, which was perfect for a casual vibe. If you're looking for something more intimate, the indoor seating looked cozy and more appropriate. Our appetizers were delicious, and the drinks good. Overall, great service and nice ambiance. Looking forward to coming back for a full dinner soon.
We recently tried this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The service was a bit interesting. The staff didn't communicate much, and it felt like they were short-handed. We waited about 15 minutes just to get our check, and other tables around us waited close to 30 minutes to check out, not including the actual payment process. The menu isn't very typical, but the offerings themselves were interesting. We ordered the chicken, which was genuinely amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal. We also got the hummus. The hummus itself was good, but the portion was extremely large, and the pita bread that came with it was very thin and tasted a little stale. The French fries were really good. One thing they could improve on is the food presentation. Our plate had all the chicken piled on the bottom, fries on top, and the pita bread laid over everything, which felt a bit odd visually. The restaurant has a lot of potential, but the menu could benefit from being expanded a bit. There's also a mixed meat option on the menu priced at $200, which feels very high for the area. That said, the outside patio is really cute. If you do decide to come and try this place, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside. Overall, good food with room for improvement in service, presentation, and menu variety.
Came here on Sunday afternoon to have a late lunch/brunch. Place had wonderful reviews so we decided to try. We came in and were seated right away. Place seemed very empty. Ambience is wonderful, modern, cute and pleasant. I would say ambience is definitely 5 star. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We got mint lemon juice which was presented well and very tasty. We had a Rosenheim salad that was good but way too salty. My husband couldn't really eat it. Lentil soup was good, wasn't amazing but pretty good. We also had some chicken main meal which was one of very few non red meat selections. It was pretty decent but nothing special. Food would be 4 stars for me. Service was terrible. No one spoke English, they didn't understand us, they weren't nice and at the end lady brought us a piece of paper to put a review on google. We said "we will do it" and then another person came to ask us again if we left a review. It was super annoying. Definitely not the most pleasant experience.
Have been wanting to try this spot in Ybor since it opened, and I'm glad we did. There's free parking in their lot which is hard to come by in Ybor. At 7pm on a Saturday night, it wasn't busy and we were seated immediately outside. Service was very slow, but we didn't mind because we were wanting a leisurely dinner to kill time before something at The Ritz. We each ordered espresso martinis and we all agreed it was the worst one we'd ever had. Just didn't taste good to us. When it came to food though, we really enjoyed everything. We started with tabbouleh which was colorful, fresh, and delicious. We got a side of pita as well, which was doughy and warm. We split the $65 mixed grill so we could try a little bit of everything. My fav meats in order: chicken, kebab, lamb chop, beef. I thought the beef was a bit tough but I really enjoyed the chicken and kebab. The 3 dips they bring with the mixed grill were all great, I used the pinkish colored aioli the most but also used the garlic sauce. For 3 girls with one drink, one app, and the shared platter, we spent around $55 each. I'd love to try desserts here and would order a different drink next time. The decor is gorgeous, and the fact that people were smoking hookah around us wasn't bothersome, despite us not being interested in that at all.
I visited Rosenheim for dinner with a party of six on a Saturday night. We had no trouble getting in without a reservation. I did not think that the food was excellent and it was a bit pricey. I would not return to this restaurant due to this lack of value. The portions are huge but the huge part is all rice . The Mezze platter was just not good. Looked good though. I will not return.
Will return. This Mediterranean / Middle Eastern restaurant in Ybor City is authentic, clean and simple decor with fake greens and candles. Two sections in doors and one outdoor area. Good service and food. We've Fried kibbeh Baba ghanoush Grilled halloumi Spinach pizza They're all good, I liked the meat balls (kibbeh) and halloumi very much. Four Arabic speaking aunts came, owner received them warmly. One of the aunt has a cute dog, who asked me if I was ok with it - it's very ok -:) The parking lot is across the street. Their bathroom has a spigot. I've never been to the Mideast but this is very common in Asia. When I redid my bathroom, I asked the contractor to install a drain and spigot. He didn't, saying the drain would smell. As we were driving away, I saw the go to wine bar is on the other end of the same block.
So excited to find a unique restaurant in Ybor. Food was delicious, service was excellent. The staff dress more casual than expected for what feels like a nicer restaurant.
With an expansive menu of Middle Eastern cuisine, we had no shortage of dishes to try! My favorites were the Meat Rice which was phyllo bread stuffed with veggies, ground beef, & rice and the desserts. We tried both the Um Ali (Egyptian bread pudding) and the Kunafa (a shredded dough and cheese based dessert); so unique and so flavorful! Also wildly delicious was the lemon mint juice 10/10
What's the hype about? This place was a huge disappointment. The service was terrible, the food had no flavor, and it was way overpriced. Even the sauces were watery. Definitely won't be back.
Rosenheim is dangerously cute. You walk in thinking you'll take a few pictures, then the food arrives and suddenly your camera can mind its own business. The dips and pita were incredible. I was using bread like a tiny edible shovel with absolutely no concern for how I looked. Even the coffee had a fancier outfit than I did. Beautiful place, ridiculously good food. I'd brought a date here, but I struggled to pay attention to him. read more

Thank you so much for your kind words Sydnee
This place is pretty good, and I'll definitely be back! The falafel was super crunchy and savory. It was a little dry, but pairing it with pita and hummus was excellent. I could honestly have that for dinner by itself. The Shish Tawook chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. Kudos to them because it's hard to make chicken breast that juicy! The kunefeh was good but too sweet for me. Next time I'll ask for the syrup on the side because I prefer it crunchy. The ambience is beautiful. They had someone playing electric violin outside. It's a fun place to hang out with friends. The only downside was the service. It was pretty slow considering there weren't many people there, and I had to ask for water twice. Hopefully it's more attentive next time because everything else was great. Overall, a solid 4/5! read more
I drive by so many times that I finally had the time to stop in and try it out. My husband and I went for lunch, arriving a few minutes after they opened, we were the only ones there. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions. There were so many great options to choose from on the menu. Since it was our first time, we decided to try the mixed grill -- plenty of food for two people. The lamb kebab was delicious, the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the beef was flavorful and well seasoned; a little more cooked than I like, still juicy. The rice was amazing! My husband enjoyed the French fries, and the garlic sauce was out of this world. The hummus was very good, so creamy. The restaurant stayed empty until we left. The outdoor space is super cute, too hot today to sit outside. For the price, the indoor decor could use a little care -- the table numbers are cracked, the two-top was crowded with the number holder, plant and candle. We had to move them aside before the food came. Given how large the portions are, one more dish and we'd have run out of room. For a place open until 2:00AM with hookah smoking, I was pleasantly surprised there was no smell at all. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Hi Lele, we clearly remember your visit!…
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This is conveniently located in Ybor City with plenty of parking. The restaurant is bright and beautifully decorated. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly, Everything was a 10 out of 10. I started off with the Rosenheim Lemonade. It's a bit pricey, but so incredibly fresh and delicious. It's loaded with tons of fresh mint. The mixed cold mezza was worth it. Loved all of it. The dynamite shrimp is seriously some of the best. It was super crispy with tons of flavor. We also got the shish tawook and the tikka. I failed to get a pic of the tikka but both had great grilled flavor. Literally everything was great. On a whim, as I was leaving, I decided to get a Rosenheim latte to go. It was hot and fresh. It was filled with warming spices and had great cinnamon notes. I had a great experience here and will be back soon. read more
I have driven past Rosenheim a few times and finally tried it tonight. My family and I ate dinner and having Lebanese and Palestinian family it scored super high on our list of favorite middle eastern restaurants in Tampa Bay. We ate outside so that some of us could enjoy hookah. Thankfully there were fans so it wasn't too hot. The ambiance at night was even better after sunset with the lights on the patio. We loved every dish we ordered from the cold Mezza (mixture of dips like hummus, baba ganush, and muhammara) to the chicken taouk platter. If you're looking for something unique to try, the Layali Lebnan which is a milky semolina pudding topped with syrup and pistachios. Also, the minted lemon juice was incredible, one of my favorite drinks from Lebanon, it's heavy on the fresh mint which I loved but not for those not wanting intense mint flavor. The entire Rosenheim staff was incredible and took care of us from start to finish of our dinner. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying new dishes in the future. read more

Stopped by for lunch around noon, the place was completely empty but we were quickly met with a warm welcome from Abdullah! Beautifully decorated space and what a hidden gem. We ordered the espresso martini, fattoush salad and mixed grill. No notes!! Everything was prepared to perfection. Our server was so friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain what was included and providing recommendations along the way. Will be back in the evening for some hookah!! read more
Very coolly furnished restaurant on the inside with a nice outdoor patio. At the time I was there, they had only been opened 2 weeks and had just gotten their liquor license, but they had the basics. The food was really good and they really paid attention to details as they did a fairly good job accommodating our group of 20 people. I would definitely go there for a date night as the prices aren't outrageous. The only downside was my food came out at room temperature rather than hot. read more

We had a lot of fun exploring Rosenheim today. Service was great and our server gave us some delicious Moroccan tea on the house. I had the batata harra and the grilled haloumi which were both amazing. The vegetarian entree options are a bit limited, but there are many small plates that are great to try. read more

My GF and I went here last Saturday night and we were so glad we did. This is not a knock off Greek or Mediterranean chain like so many places in Tampa. The menu selections in my opinion are more authentic. My GF had the shrimp appetizer and something else that I forgot. I ordered the large tabbouleh salad to share which was very good. It had a very crisp and zesty taste. We ordered a large but it's enough for 4-6 people to share. The nice man who seated us recommended I try the ribs. Which is actually lamb chops. They didn't ask how I wanted the ribs cooked but they were served medium to med well so be sure to request if you want them a certain temperature. They were tasty , not dry and seasoned just right with a nice fresh flavor and not salty. Our cocktails were also very nice. The service was excellent and friendly. Servers stopped by often even if they were waiting on another table. They have a huge outside area, which is very well lit and comfortable. It had a very family and community vibe to it outside. On top of all this, they had live music that was very good and a belly dancer for entertainment. They do stay open late so after the band stopped playing they had a DJ. The other nice thing was the whole time the band and the DJ played you could still sit outside and have a conversation and not be overwhelmed by the music.. We enjoyed it so much we are going back again tonight to try some other dishes and try a dessert. read more

Beautiful outdoor seating. We enjoyed the food, not as spectacular as expected the chicken Shawarma was under spiced . The hummus and baba ghanoush and red pepper dip were spectacular. Served with all lavash bread, which is flat and crispy. Delicious. Plenty of parking across the street. The only downsize is it's on a one-way main street out of Ybor city so it's slightly noisy with lots of pedestrians. read more

Hi John, we’re genuinely sorry to hear this, especially knowing that…

The transformation of this place is incredible, though our service wasn't the best, likely due to a language barrier with our server who had recently moved here. The food was just okay, but the patio was a fantastic spot to sit, though it could use some fans. The inside looked beautiful, and I imagine it's much nicer and livelier at night with the hookahs and drinks. I'd definitely return to see if things improve because the location is fantastic, with plenty of parking, a short walk to the heart of Ybor, and close to the highway. read more

Hi Theresa, thank you for recognizing our beautiful ambiance and…
HUGE quantities of food! I ordered the half chicken and received a delicious chicken, fries with just the right amount of doneness, a gigantic pita, and three sauces: hummus, baba ghanoush, and fry sauce. Can't believe this was only $14. Met the owners personally, got to speak some Arabic with them, and they told me there was a branch of this restaurant in Abu Dhabi of all places! read more
