Good hang out spot. If you are looking for a cool bar/lounge in the area, you won't find many options. Oasis is good for what it is. The decor is ok, drinks are solid, well priced, but very limited. Coffee, wine, and a few cocktails. Have yet to catch the belly dancer so I can't say much on that. The people running the place have always offered good service. Again, nothing over the top, just a nice spot for conversation with friends, do a little hookah, listen to music, use your laptop or just to chill out after a days work. read more

The price for the hookahs was very reasonable compared to the other lounges in the area. Also, the quality of the tobacco was really good and comparable to a lot of the Turkish hookah bars I've been to in Europe. read more

Oasis is close to home, and a friend of mine belly dances here on the weekends, so I was eager to try it out. A high school friend helps run a hookah lounge down in South Tampa, so I was curious as to how they would differ. I think there are pros and cons to both lounges, but ultimately what makes Oasis a 2 star establishment is the fact that no smoking is allowed indoors. If I'm going to spend a few hours sitting in a bar whilst baby sitting a hookah, I want to be able to light up a cigar or clove cigarette. I will say though, that the layout of the lounge is very interesting with its booth-like areas that offer some mild privacy; that's a good touch. However, while the host was friendly, awesome and attentive and the bar is extremely close to home, I probably won't return. read more

A nice little hookah lounge. The hookah is amazing, and they're really good about replenishing coals. The guy was on point making his rounds! However the one girl working there (hostess/server) was too busy sitting and talking. We waited forever for her to come by so we could cash out. Then we had to stop the guy to get her for us, and he forgot til we reminded him and FINALLY he gets her to come cash us out. He should've been able to focus on his job not have to get her to do hers. I wish I could've tipped the guy specifically because he was amazing. Unfortunately I won't be back. Went to Oasis for a chill night. Told them I had to go and pick up someone, they stated I had to pay $18 before leaving which I did. Came back 10 min later and the staff remembered me asked I needed another flavor or the same pack I just had 10 min ago. They brought out the same flavor for me and as I'm getting ready to cash out they tell me it's another $27 because I left for that brief period. I asked them why is it that I'm charged for a new hookah vs a repack, they stated because I cashed out, even though I couldn't leave without cashing out. read more

Tucked near the armpit of a strip mall between a bank and a Beef O' Brady's is this Oasis. The Egyptian man running this thing is kind, and inviting providing hookah tips, and a light snack. The beers are cold, and pricier than Beef's right next door, but the atmosphere is decidedly different. I ended up here on a very quiet week night after driving past it for weeks and had a fine time. Although all hookah lounge décor screams whore house to me, this one had very simple smoking booths and coffee tables, paired with wacky disco lighting. Some nights they have a belly dancer-whatever. I'm just glad to have this place close to home. My alternate is LeSouk, so much further away. The main difference here is no cigar or cigarette smoking. For starters this is my second home. I think everything from the service to the paint on the walls is perfection. A little backstory on how this place came to be is necessary for me to explain why I love this place so much. They started under another management team who didn't take proper care of this establishment. Lucky me I didn't hang out around here during that time. A few years back this store was run by two people who I consider close friends now. They have brought nothing but happiness and good vibes into the hookah community. I see plenty of faces new and old come here day in and day out. The hookah is priced fairly and the service is great. They rotate your coals without you having to ask and that even though it seems small is a very large step forward as far as I'm concerned. The music is urban and usually they have a very chill vibe. Once a month they have a comedy group come in and they put on a more than generous show.The flavor selection is one of the best in town and the hookahs made here are BAR NONE the best in town. They have fruit heads for a little extra and ice tips for those of you that like your smoke cold. The beer selection is better than most in the are as far as I can tell.
