History
Established in 1989.
Kieth and Anne Urry took over Rosemount in 1989. It became a labour of love and the original, delightful Vicotrian property has been tastefully extended. Further reflecting their personal passions, they developed a dog-friendly hotel that is perfect for visitors from over the world. Friendship and wamrth are very much the stamp of Rosemount, being especially popular amongst dog owners. Noetheless, we are also a natural choice for walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists, theatre, history and distillery buffs and those who generally appreciate peaceful, stunning locations. Delicious, carefully prepared breakfasts are supplemented by a small but quality dinner offering. Views from the hotel are breathtaking and a terrace is equipped with chairs and tables to allow appreciation of the surrounding scenery, especially in the afternoon and evening, when the light qaulity is particularly impressive. Expect visits from wildlife, scampering along our walls and circling the skies, close to the hotel.
Meet the Business Owner: Anne U.
A big "Hi" from Rosemount Hotel Pitlochry and just a few words about hubby, Keith, and myself. We certainly witness a few raised eyebrows when we tell some folk that we've been at Rosemount for 35 years. It's hard to explain how, when the hospitality bug bites, it becomes life-transforming. Though it can sometimes become a little bit crazy, we could not imagine a better way of spending our days. What more life-fulfilling reward can be recieve than meeting the most wonderful people from around the world. This is in total contrast to turning on the TV and witnessing what's on offer there. By contrast, it really is a fabulous world - we just need to keep talking to one another to remind ourselves of the real "truth" of the matter. So - if you're planning a trip to Scotland, especially to the Central Region and Highlands, put Rosemount high on your list and come and say Hello. Stay Healthy and Happy!
