A new conservatory was added that serves as the breakfast room. The views over their gardens and the Highland Perthshire are astounding. But the most amazing aspect is the welcome we received. Louise and Struan clearly love being innkeepers and are exceptionally good at it. A cup of tea and shortbreads were immediately offered. Advice on what to visit and where to eat was comprehensive, along with maps and other aids. They seem to always have time to stop and chat and move on to handle the next task without giving you the feeling that you've been dumped. But the breakfasts! Oh my, the breakfasts! Scrambled eggs with haggis. Porridge with cream and a wee dram of Scotch. Fresh local ingredients, their own home-smoked salmon, smoothie starters with fresh fruit and a bit of porridge as a thickener. Everything was absolutely delightful. To top it off, they have a liquor license and sell two kinds of local beers and 32 different single malts. Although ranked number two in Pitlochry on Trip Advisor, there is nothing second place about this B&B. Highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable with more than enough space to accommodate my mobility scooter and the bathroom with roll in shower was also very roomy with all the accessories I required. The standard of cleanliness was impeccable. The Management and staff making us feel very welcome from the instant we arrived, coming out to advise us the best way to park the car, so that access to and from the car for myself and also for my scooter was not compromised. Actually Chetan parked the car for me. He also ensured that the space for my car was always available when we returned from whatever trip we had been on. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had our evening meal, in the restaurant, on the first night. My friend and I have different dietary requirements and the staff were so knowledgeable about their menu that they were able to advise us what we could eat. The meal was great. Breakfast each morning was also adapted for our requirements. As already stated nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All accommodations for Covid restrictions are applied, so felt we were safe staying there. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The hotel is only a 5 min walk from the town centre, however, it is a steep hill so a car would be required for anyone with mobility issues. Amisha & Chetan definitely know how to make you feel welcome and feel that you will certainly return for another visit. I definitely will be going back.

I'd also recommend the 'Haggis, Neeps & Tatties' (Haggis, mashed potatoes and mashed turnips) all with a nice gravy. We've never had Haggis before and all enjoyed it. It's like a peppered meat loaf. I like that they have flights of beer available, so you can try 3 different local brews from tap at one time. We also had the 'bread & butter pudding' which was satisfactory (not great but good). We ate in the bar dinning area a comfortable light filled area with views of the mountains surrounding Pitlochry. Good regional food at reasonable prices. We went back for the Sunday carvery a set price meal at noon on Sunday's. The offerings were a slice of lamb, roast beef and ham all were cooked well done not my preferred way of eating beef or lamb but tasty. This was accompanied by a choice of potatoes, mashed,boiled or roasted, freaks cabbage cooked with bacon, fried parsnip sticks and carrots. Yorkshire pudding and gravy as well as mint sauce and horseradish sauce. Dessert was included, I had the apple crumble which came with a choice of custard sauce, ice cream or cream. Being lactose intolerant I went plain it was tasty but could use the sauce. Hubs had the cheesecake with ice cream a common combination in the UK.
