A hidden gem in the heart of Central Inner Eastside Portland. Beautiful modern simple motif. Tidy with beautiful signage and lots of plants and natural lighting from skylight and a big garage door. Great big patio with shade. One of seven locations in Portland. Highly recommend checking this place out. They've got coffee from Columbia, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda. But I'm a matcha latte kind of guy and their's was pretty good. Hipster haven with friendly staff and chic design. The guy behind the counter, Riley was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have delicious Nom Noms..

The atmosphere is unmatched. Impeccable design and branding -- I was here every morning during my trip. Lots of seating but if you're looking to do work on a laptop, tables are smaller. However -- lots of power outlets. Great coffee, inventive seasonal specials, and fantastic brekkie sandos

Four stars for Roseline Coffee, a little sanctuary tucked into a pocket of Portland that defies reality. Just a short trek from the Oregon Convention Center and somehow even closer to the tangled mess of concrete and combustion known as the I-84/I-5 interchange, you'll find this surprisingly serene spot with outdoor seating so quiet you'll swear someone unplugged the city. I ordered a hot raspberry vanilla latte, one of their rotating specials. It tasted like someone in the back actually cared, which is more than I can say for most things these days. The baristas moved with mechanical precision and no pretense of friendliness, which I respected. No time wasted, no small talk. A line existed and then it didn't. Roseline serves as a reminder that small pleasures survive in unlikely places. You just have to be willing to look for them.

Wanted to try a Portland coffee shop and stopped in here after a short walk from our hotel. It's a little hidden so you have to keep your eyes peeled for the signage. Once you walk in you are transported back into time. Such a nicely decorated coffee shop. Would love to stay and sit next time but took our drinks to go. Loved the logo and menu and everything about this place! The service was awesome! Thanks guys!

I love trying different coffee stops around Portland. I was in the neighborhood today so stopped in to Roseline for a coffee and to work for a bit. The barista was very friendly and made my coffee just perfect. The coffee was delicious too! The space is very comfortable to work in. They have many different seating areas to use for what works best for you. I would definitely recommend Roseline to people, if they're in the area.

We discovered Roseline by a very happy little accident because it was very close to our hotel (The Porter) and open on a weekend, which is the key when you're navigating Hood to Coast timing and trying to squeeze in a shower between relay legs. Roseline is located inside an office building and it has a clean, modern aesthetic with a low-key vibe. I ordered a matcha latte and it was smooth and lightly sweetened which is just how I like it. The prices were fair and service was friendly. It's not a spot I'd necessarily go out of my way for but if you're staying nearby it's a great option to have in your back pocket. Bonus points for being open when we desperately needed caffeine!!!

There is some street parking but we walked down from our hotel. I liked that there was a smaller menu of options. I think the interior has a retro and cheery vibe. The outdoor space was shaded. There is also several seating options inside. I loved that they sold Petunia's pastries for those vegan and gluten free bakery options. The service was efficient and those busy there wasn't a long wait. I decided to try the house made syrup special - salted maple hazelnut latte. I enjoyed the base coffee but didn't have much flavor for the drink itself.

Kinda dark & hidden coffee shop from the outside, but light & airy on the inside. The orange banquets and monstera plants under bright skylights are welcoming, and a great place to get a nature fix. There is outdoor seating on the front patio, but it's closed in, so I chose the fun interior instead. You can see the roastery through the glass windows behind the counter. The almond croissant I ordered was wonderful dipped in my matcha latte. It's a neat place with great drinks and pastries.

I got the horchata matcha and was pleasantly surprised!! It was better than expected. The vibe of this place is cool and clean. The cashier was very nice so I would recommend!

I came across this coffee shop on my run and it's one of my new favorites! I know they have a few other locations around the Portland area too. Nice ambiance here, lots of seating. Baristas are friendly. Great pastries. The lemon poppy seed scone was perfect. So good. Coffee was good too. 9.50$ for both. Would recommend coming here if you haven't tried it.

Previously, I've visited Roseline Coffee at their Alberta location and I can attest that the Alberta location is great. I liked this location as well. I liked the set up with the little one person tables and benches. Service was great. The parking may be a little difficult if you didn't take public transportation like I did. The baristas were great. The matcha latte was spot on and I had a delicious scone as well when I visited. Overall, I recommend this coffee shop.

Tried the seasonal banana bread hojicha chai latte with oat milk today, and it was amazing!!! One of the best drinks I've had in a while. I loved the vibes, the bright aesthetics, and the ample seating at this coffee shop. Street parking was a bit difficult to find but worth it! Both indoor and outdoor seating. Some people were reading or working on laptops. Service was quick and friendly. The only flavors they had were vanilla and hazelnut. The milk was steamed very well, and the latte art was great! Might be my new favorite coffee shop in Portland .

Lattes were sooo good and the service was top notch! I got a vanilla latte and Natalia got a regular--we have our go-to's. The barista was this wonderfully cheery guy who hummed/sang as he was prepping our drinks. He even helped me pick out a whole bean coffee bag to take home. The decor and branding was very chic and they also had a collab collection with the Portland Museum of Art. Don't "@" me that I tried using an umbrella haha. This was day 1 and I quickly learned PDX rain doesn't bite. 5/5

I have mixed feelings about my visit this morning. There is so much to love about the vibe here,…read morebut the actual drink execution left me frustrated. The Pros: First off, the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. They make you feel welcome the second you walk in. The modern, cool design of the space is top tier. It is exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when grabbing a coffee in Portland. I also love their progressive approach to dairy; they default to plant based milks and there is no upcharge for them, which is a huge win for accessibility and sustainability. The Cons: Unfortunately, the experience was completely undercut by the quality of the pour. The oat milk curdled almost immediately. I am well aware that Stumptown uses a more naturally acidic brew, which is a science experiment waiting to happen with plant milks, and I know it is technically safe to drink. However, the separation completely ruins the mouthfeel. Instead of a creamy, cohesive sip, I was left with a watery base and grainy floaties. It is disappointing to be told that this is normal when specialty cafes have the tools like barista grade buffers and temperature control to prevent this. While the ethics and the aesthetic are on point, a drink that looks and feels curdled just is not an acceptable standard to serve to customers. Summary: Great people, great space, great pricing, but the technical execution of the plant based drinks needs a serious overhaul.

I had two bites and had to throw mine away. It was definitely just painfully artificially sugary and tasted gross flavor wise - I should've just gotten a different flavor initially. I don't recall what it was called but it was maybe pistachio base custard or coconut (can't recall) but the description had pineapple jelly with coconut flakes and a cherry. Overall I love the vibes here and the staff were super friendly but I probably won't ever eat the custard here ever again. I'll probably check out the back tho!

Even though the 5 star rating was based on just one review I thought I would give it a try as the all of the drinks coming out while I was thinking about it looked pretty good. The basic 2-shot latte was pretty good. I'm a coffee snob so I save 5 star ratings for places with amazing coffee that really makes coffee a transcendent experience or places with pretty good espresso drinks at places with consistently good service, so I'd probably just give this place 4 1/2 stars on coffee alone. However the atmosphere for a little spot is reallly nice, with interesting books on the shelf on the back wall and real artwork by local artists on the wall. Plus the spot opens up into the lobby of the Hoxton Hotel, which of course has that trendy but classy Hoxton aesthetic. Also a plus, the place has ceramic mugs and cups, but as most folks are getting coffee on the way out, you will get your drink in a paper cup unless you ask. These other factors justify bumping it up to a full 5 stars (especially as Hotel coffee spots frequently suck). Note this is a one person operation, so some patience may be necessary. Hours: At the time of this writing, Yelp had this spot's hours conflated with a similarly named restaurant in the lobby. It's actually open for 7 to 12 every day.

The business is small inside, only 4 visitors at a time, maybe she got upset that we came in when there were 2 customers already in? It was rainy outside though! Initially, my wife and I were super excited and chatty (in Spanish, our native language) about the opportunity to support this business and waited patiently until it was our turn.
