Great drip coffee! Service was friendly and quick. Also enjoyed the Moroccan latte on a prior visit.

cool vibe inside. ordered a tea and it literally came out in 5 seconds which is great because I was in a rush. baristas are super nice and service was great. cute spot to get work done too.

I really enjoy working from Ovation Coffee because it has a welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, and the perfect balance of energy and focus. As a local realtor, it's an ideal spot to bring my laptop, stay productive, and even connect with people in the community while getting work done.

Pumpkin Chocolate Scone + Moroccan Chai
Dana S.

Coffee shop featuring Moroccan-inspired drinks. Great location by the Fields Park. The shop has big windows that let in light and offer pleasant views. The barista that took my order was very friendly and helpful with my questions. I got a pumpkin chocolate scone and a Moroccan chai. Scone was good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Moroccan chai was cool - I think it was sprinkled with coarse sugar, which created a sort of crust on top of the foam, but the rest of the drink wasn't super sweet, and the spices were strong but smooth. This was a good choice for something a little different.

Moroccan ice coffee, blue raspberry nitro lemonade, croissant

Baristas were helpful and sweet. Are order came out incredibly fast and was delicious. Their menu had coffee classic, but also fun, unique drinks too. We ordered two drinks and a croissant, all of that was only $12. There was a decent amount of inside seating, but it is a pretty small space. Across the street there is a really pretty park, which added ambiance and could serve as additional space on a good day

Tried this coffee place when I wanted to try something different. The coffee was a little different with the moroccan influence. They sprinkled cinnamon powder on top of my cappuccino. Although it didn't taste any different to be honest. The ambiance is pretty refreshing and chic. The service is very nice with friendly staff. Coffee was very average.

Marionberry Cheese Croissant and Spinach Feta Croissant

We had the spinach feta croissant and the marionberry cheese croissant. Both were perfection. The pistachio latte and Moroccan latte were both unique and delicious. Recommend doing half sweet on the latte if you like a mild sweetness.

my favorite coffee in Portland Oregon. I walked in as it was nearby to the gym I was going to. I wanted to try their coffee and save it for the next day. One sip and I was hot. Looking forward to coming here on another visit.

Cue little gem around the corner of pearl district. Lots of residents came here after morning workouts. You can see lots of furry friends coming In and out. Staffs are super nice. Coffee is a must try. Exotic Moroccan lattes gives an interesting twist to the flavor. Some spice reminds me of the Chinese 5 spices but not too strong. Some has dry onion in it? Got to experience it Biscuits and paninis are also great flavor with a reasonable price. Love the crispy sandwiches.

Lavender matcha latte
Sofia P.

Interesting twist on a matcha latte with their added spices, next time I'd try without the lavender because there are just so many flavors going on. Great service. It was pretty packed inside but also very quiet- seems like a great workspace.

The restaurant immediately caught my attention with its truly impressive seasonal holiday decor, creating a chic yet festive ambiance that drew me right inside. The interior is spotlessly clean and pristine, blending modern polish with a captivating festive energy. Despite the holiday crowd, the hospitality was top-tier from start to finish. The staff managed the afternoon rush with remarkable grace, remaining attentive, warm, and delightfully accommodating throughout our visit. To celebrate the occasion, I ordered a classic Bloody Mary, which arrived exquisitely garnished, perfectly spiced, and wonderfully refreshing a delightful highlight to a Saturday afternoon. For my lunch selection, I paired my beverage with an order of their deviled eggs. When presented, the dish was an absolute culinary triumph exceptionally smooth, beautifully seasoned, and executed with high-status quality and finesse. Between the immaculate cleanliness, striking decor, sublime offerings, and stellar service, Screen Door earns full marks from me. A thoroughly memorable Halloween outing I shall most certainly be returning

We are typically brunch people, making it here most often on a Saturday or Sunday for a late brunch. Their benedicts are to die for... truly, they're all wonderful. Their Laser Potato is out of this world. Truly, my favorite item on their menu. It is fabulous in all ways. I often take a side of it home just to enjoy later. We recently tried them for dinner. Their muscles are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Truly, the best I've ever had. This beats living in the southeast on the coast, any west-coast seafood restaurant, and every place I've ever enjoyed in Italy. They've certainly topped the muscle game. Highly recommend Olympic Provisions. I will gladly vouch that the negative reviews are from the haters, just to hate. The overall experience has never been anything less than fantastic. Photos to follow (hopefully, if I can find them! HA!) Enjoy OP next time you're in PDX!

Changing seasonal menus means it's never the same thing twice (except the steam burgers, which are a beloved institution of their own, and I hope they stay on the menu forever). The best thing about Canard, besides the food and service, is how accessible it is. You don't have to be well educated about wine to benefit from their excellent collection. Those who might find finer-dining items intimidating will also find familiar favorites on the menu. Even my teenager, who can be wary of trying new things, was persuaded by beautiful presentation to give every dish a chance (spoiler: she liked everything she ate!). Just the best place, worth every penny.

I did a walk in around 6pm on a weekday and there were plenty of seats at the counter where you can watch them cook. The foie gras is delicious but not a must do for the pancakes. I think it works better with the duck frites. I think the duck was good but I just had one bite so can't remember. The fries were good though. Foie gras dumplings were also memorable but I don't necessarily need to get it again. The arugula salad was refreshing although I'd ask to have it accompany the duck stacks next time to have a refreshing side. I love fish so I expected to love the chicken fried trout but it was just alright compared to the other dishes. The Paris brest was excellent. Personally, a little too much passionfruit tartness for me but loved the milk crumbles. Heartless Rita mocktail tasted too much like juice for me.

Giving a 2-star because of a mixed experience. Hopefully my review can help anyone who comes here…read morehave a better experience than we did. First, I'll start with the positive: Tacos de Pescado were quite good, and perhaps the only thing worth coming for here. They were seasoned very nicely and had great texture and appearance. Absolutely the highlight here. The only thing that could have improved them was just a bit of sweetness in the chipotle mayo, since the sauce was a little bit unbalanced. But they were still very tasty. However, there were a couple things that we experienced that really ruined our visit: (1) Price gouging/stinginess (2) The bitchy hostess I totally get the 2026 times that we're in and that places need to operate on tighter budgets. You want me to seat myself when times are busy? Sure. Go up to the bar to order? Alright. Refill my own water? Meh, not a big deal. But there is a way to do those things without treating customers like pests. We showed up shortly after 3pm and this place was COMPLETELY empty, other than the hostess and bartender. We saw the sign that said to seat ourselves, so we did. Hostess came over and just told us to look over the menus and go to the bar when we're ready to order. I tried to ask her for any recommendations, but her body language clearly said she just wanted to walk away. Then she just went over to the bar, and chatted with coworkers. Then one other couple showed up and I watched the same thing happen -- she just kept looking for the first opportunity to step away and go back to doing nothing. Fine, I am capable of having a good time without her, except the menu was sort of confusing about pricing for their signature "machete" quesadillas; they allow you to order a build-your-own with up to 4 different fillings, but the menu has a weird diagram showing the quesadilla spilt into 4 pieces, and each additional filling had another $4 charge to the order. I called her over to ask if the additional fillings were added to the whole machete, or just a portion of it. She said that any fillings you order are basically substitutions, and will be added IN PLACE of existing fillings. I clarified "So the amount of food is the same, and you're just charging extra for me to choose a different filling?" She confirmed yes. "So why do you guys offer a build-your-own option and then charge 2x-4x more for the same amount of food?" She got a bitchy attitude and just said "I don't know, that's just the way the chef does it," and walked away. So I just ordered a machete that was 1/2 chorizo and 1/2 steak. It makes zero sense to me that I would be charged less to order a steak machete instead of steak on one half and chicken or pork on the other half. It's the exact same amount of food. It's not like they let you combine fillings together or anything -- they literally just cut the machete into different sections and give you one filling. By the way, turns out the machete was 100% not worth ordering anyway, which is disappointing considering that this is their signature dish here. The tortillas were dry and bland, the cheese was rubbery, and the fillings were mushy and totally underwhelming. Clearly just some giant batch of meats made a couple days ago that get reheated to order, so again, not sure why they're so weird about the price-gouging. Even funnier, the menu even says that the fillings are "generous." What a scam. But then things got even worse. When the hostess brought my machete, I noticed that there was literally just one tiny dot of crema on the plate, and there was a red sauce and green sauce in the tiniest, half-filled cups. I immediately brought to her attention that there was no cup for the crema, and asked her if I could please get one. She told me I already had some on the plate, and pointed to the dot. I asked if I could please get more than the "dot," and she promptly informed me she would need to add more charges to my meal if I wanted any more sauces. Just absolutely unbelievable stinginess. Her attitude and the price-gouging completely ruined my experience. And what's worse, is the machete isn't even worth its namesake. Those fish tacos are the only thing worth getting. I hope this helps anyone planning to come here. My recommendation would be to skip this place entirely, but if you insist on coming, just get the tacos, skip the machete, and be prepared for price-gouging.
