Such a tiny little coffee shop with yummy coffee and welcoming staff. Nothing beats an amazing cup of americano topped with a super friendly barista and lovely conversation. My americano made by Ale was perfection, it was an excellent cup of coffee and the friendly chat was like cinnamon on top. I will most definitely will be coming back when visiting Portland again. CC accepted.

Cool coffee place! Came specifically for the cookie cortado and it did not disappoint. Service was pretty fast. This is a grab-and-go coffee spot with no seating, so plan accordingly. Great for a quick coffee fix!

Kilo d'Cofi is a tiny little coffee shop near Burnside and SW 6th. It's mostly grab and go as they have just a little outside table and no room for inside seating. They serve Mexican coffee in many forms, as well as fitting pastries. I enjoyed the coffee they serve as well as the croissant. Their specialty is a "galletita" or cortado in a cookie cup, but it's available in limited quantities or hours. I haven't tried that one yet but I want to.

Kind and efficient barista, tasty coffee. Lovely looking Pan Dulce that I will be back to try. Adorable and tiny. They didn't have decaf beans so I happily broke myself out of my caffeine cleanse. Squeeze in here if you want to get caffeinated.

You combined my worlds. This is my favorite dessert for breakfast. The coffee was perfect in every way and then this genius added a cookie cup. I wanted to cry when i bit the chocolate cookie and tasted the delicious coffee at the same time. WELL DONE!!!! Watching the owner work his magic and greet us with a smile, he made me us wait for a few minutes while he calibrated his machines so that the coffee would be perfect. And it was! This is a little corner shop that you can easily miss...BUT DO NOT MISS IT. WOW. This is a grab and go spot, but there are cute tables that adorn this streetside cafe.

Came here on a Saturday morning and got the tres leches latte. The shop is on the corner, small space inside. There are some baked goods available, as well as seasonal menu options. The tres leches latte was good, but there was a little more cinnamon forward than I would've liked. Overall, glad I stopped by!

    Galletita and Coffee

Had the Galletita (Cortada in a cookie cup) and pound cake. The pound cake was delicious not being too sweet while still be moist enough. The Galletita was fun with the cortada being well done but the cookie was okay. The cookie was sweeter than the pound cake and gets a bit difficult to eat/drink as it doesn't fit the cup so is elevated above the bottom. Don't get carried away and eat too much of the side to below the top coffee like I did or you'll need to take some quick big sips. Next time I'd probably just get a drink without the cookie cup. The space is very small (no indoor seating or standing, just ordering) but that adds to the experience. We sat on some tables and chairs they had setup on the sidewalk which worked well. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Would be the perfect place to grab a coffee and pastry then meander over to the waterfront or north park blocks.

Order: Galletita Pros: super friendly! Quick service. Drink presentation is everything. Cons: This is not a place you can park and walk up to. The inside is super super small maybe 2-3 ppl can fit inside at a time. If you like sweet drinks, then this is not for you. The drink was not sweet at all. It is bitter. The cookie wasnt sweet either. Also, dont bite the cookie around the edge otherwise it will spill on you like it did me. I had to poke a hole in the bottom of the cookie so that the drink could flow to the bottom. Overall, it just wasnt for me.

rude barista who told me to wait outside in the rain nothing else...

I usually love this little shop it is on a busy corner of downtown and I've always been greeted warmly and served amazing coffee and tasty pastries...however today on my way to grab a coffee and whatever else the had to serve i was told to RUDELY WAIT OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN no apology no hurry just wait outside especially since there was plenty of room in the cafe...at least on my part i chose not to judge but im a size 4 on a big day but apparently the two customers who also found it hard to have manners when they were getting their free coffees and gossip time with the girl behind the counter...26 min later im soaked I walk in no apology no anything so i started the conversation with you had me outside for 27 min. i was told it was a few min and I hadn't paid yet so i wasn't actually her concern or a CUSTOMER she cared about im a repeat customer.its now 945 no pastries out i once again gave her the opportunity to maybe ask for my order or apologize instead she glares it's unfortunate i tell her I've never been treated that rudely by anyone at this shop before and it was a shame and that after all this and her attitude i would be going somewhere else...her response GOOD...she actually ran out after me and was yelling at me that she was the manager once again never seen the woman and im not an every day customer but a few times a month and its sad i was a fan but she went above and beyond to make me never come back...

drinks: 4/5 service: 4/5 ambiance: 3/5 drove downtown to try the galletita cup- but unfortunately they were sold out around 10 am :,). the cafe is very small- no indoor seating and a few tables are propped up outside. the neighborhood is a bit sketchy and the customers there were a bit rude which sadly dampened our experience. there were only 2 baristas working- so we were understanding about the wait to get our coffees. i got the horchata latte and it was yummy! creamy, light, but still had the coffee kick to it which i liked.

    Rosalee C.

Galletita (cortado in a cookie cup) is only available on Sat/Sun before 11am. I sadly will not get a chance to try it since I'm unfortunately only in town during the week. Service was very friendly and I got an oat milk cappuccino with brown sugar/cinnamon. I also tried the cochinito cookie which was not to my preference since it was a little more doughy / fluffy, like a dry bread. This is definitely more of a grab and go coffee counter since there's only a few narrow window seats. Next time I'm in town, I'll have to come back to try that cookie cortado!

This reminds me of the Korean cafes that are sprinkled all over Southern California. We were delighted to see it here! I ordered a black sesame late and a black sesame mochi donut. Being only one barista, right after you order, he makes your drink immediately. You can hear and see the espresso shots being made and the ice filling your cups. Dependent on your order, he pulls out the cream for the top. I can see the black sesame cream top being very thick and full. A lot of patrons were ordering their tiramisu latte, and I don't blame them! It's what is very popular here. Personally, I enjoyed the black sesame latte very much. It was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness. The taste didn't overpower the coffee, which is nice. Their mochi donuts were good, too, with the consistency of mochi dough. Definitely would make another stop here if I'm ever around!

They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. A great spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks but still want genuinely good coffee underneath it all.

It manages to be effortlessly cool without being intimidating, and the quality of the coffee is consistently top-tier. Here is why it's my favorite corner of the Pearl District: The Coffee Curation: What sets Barista apart is that they are a multi-roaster cafe. They feature a rotating selection of the best beans from across the country (and locally!). Whether you're drinking a pour-over or a traditional macchiato, the flavor profiles are always distinct and expertly pulled. Masterful Latte Art: The baristas here are true artists. Every drink looks like a masterpiece, but more importantly, the milk texture is always silky and perfectly steamed. The Aesthetic: The space is stunning. With its dark wood accents, industrial-chic lighting, and those massive windows looking out onto the cobblestone streets of the Pearl, it's the perfect spot to people-watch or get lost in a book. It feels like a cozy, sophisticated library for coffee lovers. The Staff: Despite being one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They are always happy to nerd out about tasting notes or help you pick a bag of beans to take home. The Vibe: It's a great balance of "neighborhood regular" and "must-visit destination." It captures that classic Portland energy perfectly. Pro Tip: Pair your drink with one of their fresh pastries--their selections are always fresh and complement a bold espresso perfectly. Love how amazing the staff is. And the coffee is chef's kiss. Thank you!

The vibe is definitely small bar coffee shop, probably more grab and go than dine in. For my visit, I opted for two espressos, their house blend and a Coava single origin. Unfortunately, both suffered from a grind that was a little too fine, resulting in bitterness that was overwhelming in each. The single origin had some promise, with some pleasant acidity in the background, but it couldn't break through the bitter. Things were a little better in my wife's mocha, which had a deep chocolate flavor and silky smooth milk, it paired well with the cinnamon knot pastry we shared. Maybe a place to stick with the milk drinks, or at least this was my experience on this day.
