Maple burnt orange latte
Joe N.

As promised, I came back to give them a second try. This experience was great. The service was friendly, the place packed and the espresso delicious. My wife and I got their "Maple Orange" latte, a mocha and I got a single shot of one of their blends to try. We Also had a delicious croissant. The maple orange and the single shot were definitely the highlights. I think the shot was one of the best pulled ones I've had. I noticed that they have a little work area. Still, the open air atmosphere really makes the experience wonderful.

Matcha coconut passion fruit latte and rose croissant

This coffee shop is very pretty and aesthetic with plants and cute merch. The baristas were all super sweet! The matcha coconut passion fruit latte was a unique flavor so I tried it. Like some other reviews, I felt the matcha flavor was subtle or weak. The coconut and passion fruit were also light or hardly there. The horchata latte had a nice coffee bean flavor but also did not taste much like horchata to me. The rose croissant was pretty and the croissant was soft and fluffy. The frosting over it was crumbly, and tasted lightly of hints of rose and maybe cardamom. Other pastries that were available but I didn't try included vegan cookie, almond croissant, blueberry muffin, blueberry scone.

We stopped by Good Coffee while waiting to be seated at Screen Door across the street. This was perfect because we didn't have our coffee yet! The drinks don't only look good, they taste great too. I ordered a hot matcha which had a slight mint flavor. I can't remember what my husband got, but both drinks were tasty! It was a great start to our day. I love the vibes inside and out. The high ceilings, open concept and indoor/outdoor seating remind me so much of San Diego. I love it here!

Good Coffee was recommended to me by a colleague, and it did NOT disappoint. The place is clean, and staff friendly and super helpful as I arrived right when they opened. I asked for a recommendation, and was treated to the Horchata Latte, one of the best lattes I have ever had. I opted for honey as the sweetener. It was sprinkled with cinnamon, which provided an aromatic experience before I even took my first sip. The flavor profile was unlike anything Ive had before, and absolutely delicious. Next time I am back in town, I will absolutely be back for more. The baked goods looked amazing, though I didn't partake.

Good coffee is an inviting and modern coffee shop with a open indoor outdoor concept. I was immediately intrigued by their seasonal offerings. I got the iced matcha coconut and passion fruit latte. The matcha was smooth and not too sweet tasting, which I enjoyed. The passion fruit flavor came through nicely, however, I didn't get much coconut flavor. The coconut flavor was likely overpowered by the taste of dairy milk. I would definitely recommend getting an alternative milk with the matcha.

Nice selection of coffee and desserts. The iced matcha was very nice. Customer service was exceptional.

Easy to walk to in cold 35 degree weather. Ambiance: clean, rustic and lots of windows bring sunlight in. Seasonal coffee Salted caramel with almond milk and Brown butter Apple latte with nonfat milk. Both had strong coffee taste. Nice and not sweet. I preferred the Brown butter apple latte for taste. Service is quick and fast but no smiles here. Coffee: 4/5 stars Service: 3.5/5 stars Ambiance: 4/5 stars

Great coffee shop with the best ambiance! The indoor-outdoor layout is so perfect. It is wide open and spacious. The oat milk latte is a 4/5. Coconut matcha is a 4/5 as well. It is clean. The service is pretty quick and friendly. Chill, don't expect latte art.

Almond croissant was divine! The horchata latte was delicious - so smooth and creamy but didn't get much "horchata" taste from it tbh. I was here with a large group and there's plenty of seating, and I loved the open air concept where you can be seated inside but still have some fresh air flowing through an open wall. Service was really nice!

I discovered this coffee shop last time I visited Portland and loved it. I knew I had to come back this visit too. Their rose croissant is so good! I've never seen this flavor profile for a croissant anywhere so O thought it was quite unique. There is not a strong floral flavor at all, just a hint of a little something your can't put your finger on. They still had their seasonal menu offerings available so I got the browned butter oat latte and it was perfect for a sunny but chilly windy day. Service was top notch as well.

Really like this place. I come here multiple times a week and always feel super welcome. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Awesome pastries and a GREAT selection of seasonal drinks. Cozy little shop with a cute window facing bar seats and little booths.

Easily one of the best coffee shops I've been to in Portland. This is the only place where I've had a proper latte--rich, not watered down, and just chef's kiss. I got a pumpkin spice latte (extra sweet), so maybe that's why it was delicious? But still amazing nonetheless. The vibe? Immaculate. Right next to Powell's Books, always busy with people reading or working, so if you like a lively atmosphere, this is the spot. The only downside is the line setup it's kinda confusing, and they need a sign to direct people. Now, matcha lovers... I wouldn't get a matcha latte here. They pre-make it in a clear container (yikes), and it's mostly milk with a hint of matcha. That said, they sell local matcha powder--$20 for 40g, decent quality, slightly grassy, seaweedy, and astringent. With the current matcha shortage, it's not a bad buy, but if the price goes up, just go straight to Ippodo.

Rose croissant and caramel latte
Katie O.

A great coffee at this new good coffee in Pearl district. Baristas were friendly and made drinks fast. I also ordered the pink rose croissant which was just incredible. Light, fluffy, glazed = awesome!! The caramel latte was awesome. We sat outside to enjoy the breeze but the inside was also tidy and well decorated. I would definitely come back

I have mixed feelings about my visit this morning. There is so much to love about the vibe here,…read morebut the actual drink execution left me frustrated. The Pros: First off, the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly. They make you feel welcome the second you walk in. The modern, cool design of the space is top tier. It is exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when grabbing a coffee in Portland. I also love their progressive approach to dairy; they default to plant based milks and there is no upcharge for them, which is a huge win for accessibility and sustainability. The Cons: Unfortunately, the experience was completely undercut by the quality of the pour. The oat milk curdled almost immediately. I am well aware that Stumptown uses a more naturally acidic brew, which is a science experiment waiting to happen with plant milks, and I know it is technically safe to drink. However, the separation completely ruins the mouthfeel. Instead of a creamy, cohesive sip, I was left with a watery base and grainy floaties. It is disappointing to be told that this is normal when specialty cafes have the tools like barista grade buffers and temperature control to prevent this. While the ethics and the aesthetic are on point, a drink that looks and feels curdled just is not an acceptable standard to serve to customers. Summary: Great people, great space, great pricing, but the technical execution of the plant based drinks needs a serious overhaul.

I have probably spent a couple thousand dollars on their business. Not being able to pour my cup of coffee in a to-go cup when leaving is ridiculous and not standard practice. I found this out the hard way when I had ordered a drip coffee for here and, when leaving, the women kinda snapped at me when I kindly asked for an 8oz to-go cup. I'm on their bi weekly coffee subscription. I'm located in Portland and my bag of beans was routed from Portland to Detroit, then San Francisco then back to my home in Portland on my last order. How odd. I tried reaching out to them to figure out what's going on and there is no way of contacting their business. Their website has no contact information and I called multiple times and no one would pick up the phone. I finally found a personal gmail account linked to their business somewhere on their google business profile but no one ever responded to me. I find it to be very odd that they're running an online business, you can't contact them, and they don't have anyone attending customer service. That's very bad practice. If it weren't for how good the coffee is, PushXPull would be dead last on my preferred coffee shop. I'll update my review once these issues are addressed.
