I had been searching for a new tailor for quite sometime and had been bouncing around different tailors in Far North Dallas for years, but with Rose, I feel like I will be bouncing around no more. I brought in a pair of pants and a sequined jumpsuit to be hemmed. Both pieces came out flawless and the price was so reasonable. In my head I had been prepared to expect to pay quite a bit more, so I was relieved when the price was great, and the work was excellent. Turnaround was a week, which was absolutely fine, and she texted me when my work was complete. I was attempting to get price information on alterations and Rose was extremely rude. She said "i dont know you won't be able to find estimates anywhere" and when I rebutted and said I have gotten estimates she replied with "well then just go with them". Sincerely an extremely sad bride. I will never recommend friends here due to just that small conversation alone. Disappointed with the experience. I went in to have a new set of uniform dress shirts altered, same brand and fit I've been tailoring since 2020. The tailor looked them over and said she couldn't slim no seams were even inspected closely. It felt rushed and unprofessional. I have been using Rose as my tailor for a couple of years. But, recently Rose was extremely rude to me when I took a blazer back to be altered correctly. The fixed blazer was practically thrown at me and she stormed into the back and would not come back out. She was not interested if I was pleased with the fix. I tried the blazer on with her hiding in the back. I yelled to the back that I was trying it on. No appearance from her not even to ask if I was happy with the redo or to say goodbye. No customer deserves to be treated like this. I paid $50 for the original incorrect alteration. Here's the lead up to this. I took a blazer in to have the sleeves shortened. The sleeves had three buttons with buttonholes. I told the person pinning the jacket to shorten the sleeve just below the button so that the buttons were not touched. It was pinned that way. But, It was shortened above the button, exactly what I didn't want because that eliminated one of the button holes and made the sleeves too short. When I took it back in, Rose was not there so I explained the error to someone else. I received a call from Rose who was rude on the phone but told me to bring it back. I did and it took a week to get it redone. It was fixed, but shows some wear from the fabric being worked on twice. I will never go back. read more

I have been in there three times now to see about getting something altered. Each time I have taken my clothes somewhere else. She is a most unfriendly person with the worst customer service. She is exorbitantly expensive!!!! One time she didn't even ask me to try the unlined jacket on . I said it was too big in the shoulders. She looked at it and said it would be $75. Rose is amazing! She's talented, efficient, and does excellent work. I've brought a pair of jeans to slim down the skinny ankle, a bunch of t-shirts to shorten so they sit at my natural waist, and a few button-downs that needed holes mended, and each has been returned with perfect work. I bought two suits for a new job from a big box store I needed the alterations done by the following weekend. They assured me they would be done. I went in to pick the suits up and only the cuffs of the pants were touched. Charged me over $150 to do alterations on these suits. I found Rose and told her I needed them done in two days since I start my new job. She actually showed me where the "alterations" from the other place were done and gave advice to make them fit properly; I am a tall and big guy. I have had 4 dresses altered here: 3 floor-length bridesmaid dresses and 1 knee-length cocktail dress. This tailor is definitely more expensive than average, but you get what you pay for. Rose oh Rose! I drove from Downtown Dallas(30 minutes) to have her complete alterations on a suit (blazer and pants) that I needed in 4 days for a wedding- and I don't regret it one bit. I love when a person implements the underpromise and over-deliver philosophy into their business. I called Monday to make sure her business was opened before I made the 30 minute drive out to her establishment. My intent was to have my suit altered but I originally did not get an answer. Upon further research, I discovered that Rose's shop is closed on Monday's. So imagine how ecstatic I was to receive a call back informing that she was at her business and was able to alter my clothing. After arriving to the facility and having my measurements completed, she asked how soon I needed it. Although hesitant because of the short notice and the fact that I had never done business with her, I informed her that I need the clothing in 4 days (Friday) for a wedding I was attending Saturday. Rose looked at me with the sweetest smile and said, "no problem. " Not only was she able to complete my clothing a day before promised, there was no up-charge for the work. Then because that was such a great experience, we took my fiancé's suit for our rehearsal dinner there to be altered, again it was absolutely fabulous. This woman is a saint. I was in Dallas for a Sunday wedding and only had bits and pieces of my bridesmaids attire the night before. I finally try everything on and sadly my dress was too large and too long. In a panic at midnight the morning of the wedding I searched for tailors open on Sundays and there are virtually none. But I found Rose, called her first thing in the morning and she said 1) yes should could do it and 2) come right now! I rushed over, tried the dress on expecting she would only adjust the hem. But this lady not only adjusted the hem but took in the shoulder and the bust area to make the dress fit like a glove. The best part? She did this the day of the wedding in literally 90 minutes. 90 freaking minutes. And told me she wouldn't charge for a rush free (I insisted and totally paid for the rush fee which she more than deserved.) It really doesn't get better than Rose. I have been searching for a good tailor to do my jeans with original hem. I have been to plenty alterations but none by far like this one. Customer service was GREAT!!!!!.. I was then asked when I would need alterations back . Same day service is offered with extra fee. The prices are very reasonable. I would definite recommend this place. I needed a zipper sewn into some fabric to make a pillow. After one tailor turned me away and said they didn't have the machine to sew in a zipper, these guys gladly helped me out. The pillow was for a present and after telling them I needed to mail the package before Christmas, they turned it around in a day!
