The shop was sparkling with the newest renovations. I was greeted at the door by a gentleman who offered me something to drink. Since I made a reservation, I was taken within 5 minutes which gave me the opportunity to select my nail color. June is the best nail tech! It truly was a very pleasant experience. If you had been here before, please note is under new management. The owners are very conscious of customer's needs and aim to please. I have gone to Nancy before, and she is a head above the rest when it comes to quality services that last. Unfortunately, when I arrived at my appointment time, two assistants were there already working on clients, and there were two additional people waiting. They asked me if I was okay waiting for them to finish the other 4 people. I told them that I had an appointment with Nancy, and they said she had the flu and I would need to wait for one of them. I always want people to take care of their health, but as someone who has worked in several service industries, I know the importance of communication. Had they notified me about Nancy being sick, I could have made other arrangements, but instead, I ended up paying a service charge at another nail salon for someone to stay after hours for my services. What made me even more frustrated is that they assess a charge if the client doesn't cancel within a certain notification window, so they would have charged me if I had not provided the same courtesy to them. And to add insult to injury- I made an appointment for my last visit, and they made me wait 40 minutes for that as well. The only reason I booked again was because they were apologetic and attentive as a result of their own oversight in booking. Needless to say, I won't be returning. I hope Nancy gets well soon and they re-evaluate their customer service practices.

But also when I declined it she made us feel uncomfortable in the sense of rolling her eyes and then talking to her coworker. I had builder gel on my nails that they didn't take off or refill just painted over. Because of the miscommunication or just choosing to ignore us two pedicures came out way more than expected.
