This place is your average chop shop. The kid that did my toes was good. Think he was a high school student though... but the guy that did my fingers was AWFUL. See the pic of what I requested and what I got. My 5 year old nephew would have done a better job!! read more

My experience at rose was great! They saw me right away and the guy that helped me was cool! I wish I could of had cash so that I could tipped him. They were nice and they had a little note on the tables saying that they only excepted cash for tips. But the point of that was they weren't rude about that at all because I know some salons can be rude read more

Rose Nail - the best customer service ever! I tried every other nail shop in Madera and this is the BEST! GREAT WORK n GREAT STAFF!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Madera, California

Just terrible. If I could give this place a negative amount of stars, I would. -5 stars. You're literally better off going to the dollar store and buying the press on nails they have there. Definitely better quality. My friend and I had appointments for 5:30 signed in AND told them what time we had appointments for and these jerks made sure to keep helping anyone that came in after us. My friend isn't one to stay quiet about something like this so she made sure to let them know we were still waiting and had been since 5:30. At one point, a girl with a 6:15 appointment came in around 6:30, walked right up to one of the nail techs who was busy working on a set of nails to let him know she was there and right after he finished on that set of nails, he began working on hers. Side note, there was another chick there since 4pm, they simply crossed her name off the list without calling her name (we definitely didn't hear them call her name. Ever.) and she only found out after getting up to look at the list again. She didn't get seen until 6:45, around the same time my friend blew up at the staff because of their treatment towards us. The nail tech handling the 6:15 appoint straight up lied to my friend and said she was a 5:30 appointment, and that's why he was helping her when we knew that was a damn lie. So my friend gets seen around 6:45, I don't get seen until 7pm, and that's after convincing one of the nail techs who was literally doing his damn best to ask everyone else there if they needed any sort of service. When the rest of the people sitting down informed him that they were just there to pick someone up, he was forced to go with me as a client. So I didn't get seen until almost 2 hours after my appointment and right when they closed. They made sure to do both mine and my friends nails horrible, asked for slim square oval and they gave us chunky wide tipped nails that weren't really square because they had no definite shape to them, complete with patchy polish and air holes. The dude also made sure to flood my cuticles in acrylic so my circles and nail beds tear of I so much as curl my finger, and he made sure to cut them up with each file and drill. Neither nail tech would let my friend and I wash our hands after they finished "filing" them, which a nail tech at another place informed us is a way to spite customers because it guarantees the polish doesn't settle nicely and looks clumpy with air holes because of all the acrylic dust still on the nail. Then they tried to charge us full price, about $40, for the ugly messes they left on our finger tips. When my friend stated that we weren't going to pay full price because of the horrible service and how he had lied about the girl with a 6:15 appointment (he straight up didn't deny it lmao), he said it was our fault for not letting them know about our appointment times (mind you we did, every single chance we got, at least 12 times) and then would only give us a $5 discount. We don't want to play the race card, but the girl before us and we are on the darker side, skin wise, out of all the customers that were there and the three of us were the only ones treated that way. Straight up, if we had a chance to get this place shut down, we'd take it. read more

Do not go here , they do a half ass job and talk bad about you while your getting you nails done. I would not send my worst enemy to them

Horrible!! The worst mani/pedi ever! The man had a cold and kept blowing his nose in his mask... it was just awful...

I am an over the road truck driver so when I get the opportunity to get my nails done it's a treat and Rose nails was very good very inexpensive read more

I've been on the road for 4 years. I get a gel manicure every 3 weeks. This is, by far, the best mani/pedi I've ever had. Ask for Vee. Absolutely outstanding. read more

I really feel like so many people are negative about this place but all and all it's not bad. You get what you pay for and the thing is these type of salons depend on walk-ins which is why I feel like sometimes they are in such a hurry. I went here because the salon I usually go to had no appointments available for that day and I had some free time. Considering that I just walked in and requested a pedi they did a really good job. read more

I walked in yesterday hoping to get a manicure and a pedicure. They were very busy with lots of employees working, place was packed with people being worked on and people waiting and I signed in. Waited only about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad. The lady who worked on me *cant remember her name* was from table 8. She was very good at what she was doing and really took her time with everything she did like she really cared. I will say at one point when doing cuticle work on my toes she got me and I flinched and she realized she put a disinfectant on it multiple times. When it came to my finger I picked a very dark blue and she put black under layer so it came out super dark she talked about it first and did one finger to make sure I liked it and I really appreciated that. I would deff go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend read more

Loved my pedicure! Recently moved from out of state and trying to find a good nail shop has been hard! Loved this place super clean & friendly! They smiled as soon as I walked in and waited very little I love their color selection & work read more

When their last Saturday to get a gel manicure ,worst ever... Brought me a cold water for my hands and one that they had just used and didn't clean...when she did my cuticles she used that nippers and the guy next to her which words sterilized... Gels were terrible they were not filled in and they are now pilling off ...do not go here!! read more

I was so dissatisfied with my pedi.. cuticles weren't removed nails weren't shaped...usually get gel but already knew I wasn't going to be happy I went with polish. Before polishing I noticed one on my nails was cut so I mentioned it to nail tech all he did was apply glue... that will not hold up for long.. Polish was so thick when applied..never going back here again.. read more

Yesterday I decided that I needed a pedicure. So I went to the nearest nail salon around me and came across Rose Nails. When I first walked in, I went to go write my name and as soon as I write a worker then try's to hurry me up, so I try to hurry. I sat down and right way they call me to sit in the chair. The lady that I got was rude and very hard to understand. She pulls out gel polish samples and I told her that I only wanted regular polish. And she goes on and points to the gel samples. She never tried to communicate with me just nodding and pointing. She did a sloppy job. My toes looked like my little sister did them. She never ended up putting clear coat and my toes looks matte and ugly. It was not worth $22 I will never go to this place again! I do NOT RECOMMEND. read more

A great place to get nails and pedí done . Nails last a long time don't break easily and a clean establishment. Friendly staff. You get what you pay for which is amazing work and beautiful nails. Definitely the only place I will go Johnny and Vanessa also sonny are amazing at their jobs call and make an appointment with either one of them. Gift certificates are available also they do waxing and have a big selection of colors. Always satisfied read more

Dirty work station!! I should have listen to my instinct!! Honestly the worst manicure/gel mani that I have ever had. The man doing my nails would not listen!! Nails are uneven, and polish already appears outgrown in different nails. So dissapointed with quality. NEVER AGAIN! read more

This was the worst manicure experience o have ever had! The stations were filthy! We I ask them to clear the station they moved me from one manicurist to a 2nd & then a 3rd. The 1st station was so dirty you could feel the grim & see the dirt build up on their mini fan. At the final station the manicurist used the same nail polish removal shot glass as the manicurist next to him. I ask each manicurist not to use the drums (they were not clearing them in between customers), I had to argue with them on this. DON'T GO TO ROSE NAILS!!! I would have given them negative stars if I could have. read more

I went and asked for a pink and white French pedicure, with gel top coat, i didn't get that there is no hint of pink on my toes and they didn't use gel at all and my French line is so uneven so disappointed read more

Took me in right away, I got them done with Henry. Was very fast & I loved the result but one of my nails was a little cricked. He charged me 35 which was way cheaper than what I usually pay read more

Horrible. Went in for a full set and for them just to paint my toe nails (NOT A FULL PEDI). Mother in law went in for a fil in and just her toes painted as well. Waited for about 30-45 mins The lady caught an attitude when she started the water and stuff AFTER I TOLD HER I JUST WANTED MY TOES PAINTED. Waited forever to get my full set just for all of my nails to be uneven. Not to mention not even the correct length I asked for. Asked for the coffin shape didn't even get that. Uses too much glue! You can also tell when you remove the nails the acrylic seems cheap.. When my mother in-law got her fill in she told the lady she wanted them a certain way and didn't even do that instead she did what she wanted to do. By the way , my mother in-law always comes to this nail shop and the lady that does her nails all the time MESSES THEM UP EVERY TIME! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Not even to my worst enemy. read more

I was a walk in and didn't even need to wait five minutes. Sonny did my nails and they came out great!

I won't be a return customer. The staff was not very friendly and rushed my time there. They did my nails and toes super sloppy and uneven.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE! got my toes cut up bad and nail polish all over my skin. Never coming back here

I absolutely hate hate hate this place, they have no creativity, they're mean people, messy, the spas and table does not look sanitize, overall I dislike coming here, I'm glad I found a new place in madera read more

I walked in yesterday during my lunch break. I needed an acrylic fill. I was instantly greeted and told to sign in, as I began to sign my name some woman said that she can help me. I went and sat down with her, she was in such a rush I could barely look at the gel colors. She she was jerking my hand, as if she was mad or something. She had an appointment walk in, instantly filled my acrylic and told me to go sit at another seat and she would finish when she was done with her appointment. She hurried to get her appointment in and out because her appointment was also there on her lunch break and had to return to work. Some other lady called my name because I had signed it on the sign in sheet, but the lady that was helping me originally told her not to finish my set that she was going to finish me once she was done. Meanwhile I had to be back at work soon. The gentleman that worked there & that I sat next to told me that he was almost done with his client and that he would help me once he was done. I believe his name was Brandon, he did a really good job and got me in and out so that I could go back to work. I would never recommend this place to anyone, the service is terrible. If it wasn't for Brandon who said he would help me as soon as he was finished. I would have walked out. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars because Mai, Jenny, and Sonny are the best at that shop. They listen and fix something if you don't like it and they don't rush. If you get anyone else, they rush and will blame any mistake they make on you "moving". I went to get a pedicure and the people I usually go to were gone so I went to a new lady named Lyn and she is terrible. She had no clue what she was doing. And she cut me numerous times. Stick to Mai, Jenny, and Sonny and you won't be disappointed. read more

Worst experience at Rose Nails, seriously. I had a set of nails already and I went in all happy trying to get a fill and cut down but the guy filled them down sooo weird and me trying to find a way that will benefit both of us told him a way he could cut the nail shorter cause "work" needs me to have them shorter he throws the nail clipper and says cut them how short you want. At that moment I get soooo upset I feel like crying and just said take them off please and after wards he asked me if I wanted a color on my nails and I just said no and still payed and walked away. Won't ever go back and don't recommend anyone to go. read more
