Fast forward to today... the closet is falling apart. Note: this is our second home, so the drawers have seen very little use. When I purchased the system, it was sold with a lifetime warranty. So, I called to request a repair. Unfortunately, I was connected with the same service manager we dealt with previously. He claimed the issue wasn't covered under warranty and insisted the repair would cost $250 -- no exceptions. I have the email chain to go with this entire experience. When I expressed my disappointment, he started yelling, told me that escalating the issue wouldn't matter since he's the manager, and then hung up on me. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that overpromises, underdelivers, and shows so little regard for its customers once the sale is made.

He informed me that the built in would not look like the design I signed off on. At that point I asked to speak with the supervisor and expressed my concern. I said that if this job was not something that the company could do, they should have said that. I would not have booked them. I was then told that they needed the payment in full before they did the work. For obvious reasons, there was no way I was going to pay for something that I had no idea what it was going to look like. I asked for my deposit money back. I was told they didn't do that. I sent the installers home and am out $1800. Tine for a chargeback on work not started or completed.

We spent one day working on my residence doing a mix of re-organization, furniture arrangement, decluttering, and feng shui analysis and planning, whatever was appropriate for the circumstance. At the end of the day, I had a full carload of items and furniture to donate, recycle or sell and, shockingly, a brand new home office that was completely unrecognizable from the morning.
