Second time around after the first time rec from a friend. Haven't tried the donuts but they def have decent burritos that's nice and hot. I like the portion size and the wrap is nice and thin. The staff seem nice though! Weekend afternoon is def a lot quieter than mornings.

12/13/2025 Came here for some fresh OJ and breakfast burrito. Been quite a while since I came here. A nice update is that they now take CARD. which is so nice. The breakfast burrito was still the same. Not only looks good but also tastes good. Worth the try.

Mocha frap was good, but barely had caffeine. My waffle was also pretty hard =/ Bacon was god. I knew they had good burritos via word of mouth, but i was craving a waffle and will try the burrito next time.

If you live in the bay and haven't eaten here before then you're living here wrong! Rose Cafe offers all the breakfast options, omelettes, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and coffee, but what sincerely stands out are their burritos. Their breakfast burrito is an absolute must try. Their breakfast burrito comes with scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, bacon, sausage, cheese, and their homemade salsa on the side. You would think with all these meats and fried foods that it would be oily, but theirs isn't oil heavy at all. Their burritos are easy to eat yet give such a satisfying American breakfast palate. Their homemade salsa is also something else, and I would describe it as having a slightly sweet taste. It isn't sour or heavy at all. The next time you're hungry for breakfast or brunch, definitely give this place a try!

I ordered the veggie burrito for $12.75. I think overall it's a great breakfast burrito. The two negatives I will say would be the eggs are leaning towards to rubbery side and the burrito is way too oily. I love the onions and the avocado. Good price considering breakfast burritos can be up to $20 nowadays. Rose Cafe has been around for so long. I remember eating here in high school and the taste is pretty much the same. They also sell donuts. I've tried the cinnamon twist and apple fritter. They're not the best donuts in the world but they are still pretty good. Service is always fast. Quite a bit of seating which is nice.

Restaurant located in the corner of a plaza. Very spacious interior and fast service even with a small crowd. Little to no wait on a weekend morning. Pictured: breakfast burrito. A staple item here filled with eggs, hashbrown, ham, bacon, sausage and cheese. Ask for the homemade salsa on the side that adds more flavor and acidity to the burrito. The hashbrown texture is elite and just an overall breakfast burrito that can't be done wrong. A little bit on the pricer side compared to the size but delicious nonetheless. 8/10 will come from time to time!

Quick & affordable breakfast/lunch spot. All of our items came out within 10 mins. I tried the Avocado Chicken Salad Wrap & Steak burrito and both were yummy but nothing to write home about. All the prices were around $10-12 per item making it very reasonable. Their menu consisted of burritos, burgers, salads, and wraps. Casual grab & go spot with the option of seating inside.

It's the best breakfast burrito in the South Bay by far, been going to it since 2013-2014 and when it was at its previous location closer to Westgate. So apparently it's the best, but I'm only giving it 3 stars. Why? They really skimp out and you feel like you're barely getting anything. Just like other reviews have already mentioned, not a lot of cheese, the amount of salsa you get is laughable. There's no denying that it's still tasty, their hash browns are so crispy, all the flavors are distinct and there. There is nothing gratuitous about it though. When you've had breakfast burritos from LA which are top notch, you're left wanting a lot more from this place.

I went here on a Sunday around noon and there was no line. I definitely wanted to try the breakfast burrito because I was craving a breakfast burrito and I had seen pictures on Yelp. so I got the breakfast burrito with no cheese and no ham because I wasn't in the mood for ham. I love that it has hashbrowns in it. The bacon was a little bit too crispy for me, but not a big deal. I absolutely love the fresh salsa they give on the side. I did not expect it but it's such a nice touch. The parking lot is kind of small, but I was able to park next to the Wendy's. actually there might've been more room in the back part but not sure. The place is pretty spacious. I would definitely come back here again.

Located in parking lot shared with Wendy's. Only 4 donuts were left when we came around 1pm on a Sunday (see pic), but I mostly came for the breakfast burritos so it was all good. Would definitely recommend coming earlier if you want the donuts. Seemed like most people were there for the burritos. Good amount of tables inside. Service was friendly. I got a steak burrito which has 2 eggs, hash browns, steak, cheese, and a side container of salsa. To be completely honest, I wasn't super mindblown at the burrito and it was more bland than I expected, especially with the raving reviews. I wish the burrito itself had more sauce or more of a kick of flavor. I needed to use all of the salsa to add some texture and flavor. Glad I got to try it once though!

The staple casual breakfast spot of my childhood. The breakfast burrito here is always consistently good. I might have implicit bias since it evokes nostalgia of coming here in high school, but it's a classic American style breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, cheese, and hash browns (the grated patty style kind). While it's not the biggest burrito, they pack it tight and I'd say it's definitely satisfying for a meal. They've stayed true to the same recipe all this time. Real ones know that the salsa is best when you add ketchup to it too. Their donuts are also solid, and I've heard good things about other menu items (but I've never strayed from the classic breakfast burrito). Service here is always quick and efficient! Alas for the pricing. Inflation rears its head here at Rose. I remember a decade ago each burrito was only $6. Double the cost later and it's still worth it, though, which just says what value it used to be.

TBH I've been wanting to come here since 2019 but never made it a priority. Flash to 2024, I made it in and am so glad I finally got to experience their breakfast burritos. We ordered 2 to share, and luckily they already came cut in half! We went with the breakfast burrito (#0) and steak burrito (#7) (even though both were very much breakfast burritos since they came with eggs). The breakfast burrito has 3 different meats in it - not just your choice of 1 of the 3, and hash browns. This one was heavy and slightly greasy, but sometimes that's what you need in the morning. We also ordered ours with avo, a nice addition. The steak was slightly sweet and came with hash browns, unfortunately the browns weren't too noticeable in my half, but this was still my favorite of the two since I loved the flavor of the steak. This place gets super crowded, but they have plenty of seating and it seemed most people took their orders to go. They of course also have lots of donuts, but it was all about the burritos for me.

Bummed. I was okay with this place until today. Service wasn't bad was just ok. The location itself is pretty big for a donut shop and the menus are large and easy to read They managed two stars because I like their steak breakfast burrito. Is it the best breakfast burrito i have her had? No. But I do like it. Went there this Sunday morning around 6am and ordered 2 steak breakfast burritos and half a dozen donuts. The donuts were stale and old. Particularly the old fashioned ones. They donut itself hard and dry and the glaze was old looking and hard. I'm pretty sure they over charged us too. We ended up paying $41 dollars for 2 burritos and half a dozen donuts. I could have easily gone to so many different places for burritos and donuts and spent $5-$10 cheaper for better food.

There was a good amount of premade custard filled donut holes on display. Despite them being prefilled and on display, the donut holes were still crispy and not soggy! I was delighted from the first bite. The prefilled donut holes are different from the regular ones. They are glazed and more similar to a cream puff which makes them super tasty. I love the irregular shapes of each of them and how big they were. The cream puff texture is what makes this custard filled donut holes not feel heavy when you eat them. Very yummy and addicting. The service was okay. I was greeted by both ladies at the counter and the worker who had assisted me seemed very attentive. I got a dozen cream filled donut holes which were 8.99. I would say thats pretty expensive but for about .75 cents per donut hole, i'd say it's worth it. The ambiance was okay but for a donut shop I wouldn't really say that matters. The inside is a bit outdated but most people come and go anyways. The display looked clean too. I went to the location on Berryessa.
