I called to get a quote on an alignment and was asked the make and model of my car. After giving…read morethe information I was quoted a price of $69.99. This was about $20 cheaper than the price at the dealership so I went ahead and made an appointment. At no time was I told of any additional charges. I show up for my appointment and waited for over an hour for the work to be done. No big deal. At no point did I ever leave the waiting room. Again, I was still not told of any additional charges until the work was done and then I was told there was an additional $35 charge for a "code link reset". I argued that I should have been told of any possibility of additional charges at the time of scheduling or before the work was done as I could have had all this done at the dealership for a much cheaper price and without hidden costs. The guy gave me a whopping $5 off. Just another garage taking advantage of their female customers by adding costs and services without consulting them so they have no choice but to pay. I will NOT be going back.

I will not take my cars anywhere else…read more You might find a cheaper shop in town, but you won't find a more honest shop. Really, the honesty is what keeps me coming back. I also love this shop because, even though I'm a woman, they don't treat me like a complete idiot about cars (I'm a car nut and engineer). And when they tell me there's a problem, before they do any work they'll show me the problem, we can talk through what it is, we can discuss different options, and it's completely no pressure. Oddly enough, it makes me so much more willing to let them take good care of the cars. They're also one of few shops that doesn't refuse to use parts purchased by the customer. I'm a real hater about repair shops and dealerships, but these guys have won me over.

This elderly guy handled us at first mind you, it took forever for somebody to take care of us even though they saw we had been standing there for almost 10 minutes. They weren't doing anything mind You just chitchatting when the guy finally walked over to us. I forget his name, but he was such a prick he gave off the vibe of 'I'm a man and you're a woman and I know cars vroom vroom.' This dude was very careless. Very dismissive. Didn't really care what we had to say about the car anyway then we go inside we shop for a second and then we come out and this guy named Patrick another elderly guy at the front threw my girlfriend's keys at her basically on the counter and got really pissy when she said she just got a damn oil change. These men are not men. They are little boy children, and they probably still live with their mom. The animosity is crazy. Everybody here is always so rude and it's definitely only the car shop people they remind me of rebels. I'm sure they have a rebel flag somewhere in their mom's basement.. Not friendly to women. Edit: forgot to put that when we were waiting in line waiting for the pricks to handle us. There was one of the workers lollygagging in someone's big jacked up white truck took it for a joyride doing a figure out in the parking lot recklessly that's no way to handle a customer's car first of all, and if the owner would've known, I bet he'd be pissed with the way that he was handling his truck.

I will never use or recommend others use Walmart Auto Center on Rt. 60 in Huntington, WV. An…read moreassociate there made an appointment for me to get tires I ordered on walmart.com installed. Went on the assigned day and time. He forgot to log the appointment. The auto center manager apologized and made another appointment the next day. Again, showed up as assigned. An hour later, a 'technician' called me, as I was shopping in store, to say they couldn't find the lug key that I left on the passenger seat. I had to take the car to ANOTHER repair shop to have the locking lugs (x4) removed. That was a $20 charge. Went back to Walmart. Having lost my place in line, had to wait another hour. Once they got around to my car , the technician came to an said "I can't install your tires because you are missing a lug nut on each wheel." Are you kidding me?! I demanded to see the manager (ended up being the same woman I talked to the day before about the screwed up appointment). She rudely reiterated what the tech said. I explained what I had been told and the run around I was given. She was indignite. Didn't care or sympathize one bit. Needless to say, I threw a fit. Dropped a few f-bombs. SHE THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE!!!! I demanded a refund. Took my money and left. Still angry after coming home, I called to speak to the Store Manager. Apparently, he was busy, because the rude associate manager I dealt with earlier answered. Of course she remembered me, and laughed and said she'd "have him call me when he wasn't busy". She refused to write my name and number down then hung up. I want to 'thank' Kayla, Adam, and the rest of the useless staff at this Walmart Auto Center. I can now tell everyone I encounter about what happened to me and how they need to go to a decent tire retailer who treats their customers honestly, respectfully, promptly and who own their mistakes and make it right for the customer. I believe it's called "customer service".
