I use to like firestone but not after the last trip. I was told I needed brakes rotors and calibers. Ok with that I took it that it would be all 4 especially being 1081.00 to be exact. My experience with this place was very disappointing. They told me they would call me in 3 days and tell me the results on fixing my car. I did not hear back 5 days later, in which I initiated the call. Then, Firestone told me that they are unable to fix my car and that they recommend that I go buy some parts from a local auto zone and fix it myself. They did not offer to fix it. I know nothing about fixing cars and I don't even know what to buy. So, all in all, I spent 2 weeks only for them to tell me to fix it myself. read more

Excellent Service / Great Staff I know there are a number of places to go for auto service, but this Firestone location is great. The staff and I have grown together and I believe that is important when it comes to auto care. Location isn't too bad considering the mall is right across the street (and they've even dropped my wife/kids off and took the car back so she wouldn't have to walk in the rain). They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Another great mark for them is the fact they are not afraid to say: "I don't know" vs giving you a false answer. They are a little pricey, but trust is also important to me, and I do trust them. I highly recommend this place. read more

This isn't even my first negative experience here, but I made the poor decision to come back due to a coupon and convenience. I had a scheduled appointment at 4:30 and arrived at that time. It was 6 pm before my car was even taken inside. It's now 6:54 and my car is still not done for a simple oil change. I have now witnessed 2 separate customers experience poor service and issues in the few hours I've been here. The staff have avoided the waiting area almost the whole time and keep making excuses. Why even allow scheduled appointments when you're going to ignore the time? Would not recommend and WILL NOT be returning. read more

We've taken both of our vehicles to the Firestone in Barboursville, WV for years for minor repairs, oil changes, state inspections, etc. However, last month we took our Jeep in for a bigger issue with our air conditioner. The mechanics diagnosed a problem with the evaporator core, ordered the part, and then attempted to fix it. The problem is that we ended up taking it back three additional times because it was never fixed. After the fourth and failed attempt, we were told to take it to the dealership. I think it's noble they admitted to not being able to fix the problem. However, when I called to ask for money back, they refused. They said they had put additional money into fixing it without charging us. The problem is that we paid more than $1,000 for the air conditioning to be fixed, and they did not fix anything. I feel like we wasted $1,000 on nothing. This was a huge expense that we had spent months saving to have done. I DID NOT agree to pay for them to try to fix it. Additionally, when we took it to the original dealership, they fixed the problem immediately. But, of course, we had to pay them as well. I'm extremely disappointed in the service at this Firestone, especially because I had put so much faith in them before this experience. read more

Want to give a Thank You out to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Barboursville WV up by the mall. Went there asking them to change my front brakes and got a call back saying all the brakes are good. Pulled all four tires off checked brakes and rotors, tire pressure and fluids. Instead of charging me 180 to do something that didn't need done they charged me 0 and have earned my business for all my maintenance moving forward.
