This was about $20 cheaper than the price at the dealership so I went ahead and made an appointment. At no time was I told of any additional charges. I show up for my appointment and waited for over an hour for the work to be done. No big deal. At no point did I ever leave the waiting room. Again, I was still not told of any additional charges until the work was done and then I was told there was an additional $35 charge for a "code link reset". I argued that I should have been told of any possibility of additional charges at the time of scheduling or before the work was done as I could have had all this done at the dealership for a much cheaper price and without hidden costs. The guy gave me a whopping $5 off. Just another garage taking advantage of their female customers by adding costs and services without consulting them so they have no choice but to pay. I will NOT be going back.

I also love this shop because, even though I'm a woman, they don't treat me like a complete idiot about cars (I'm a car nut and engineer). And when they tell me there's a problem, before they do any work they'll show me the problem, we can talk through what it is, we can discuss different options, and it's completely no pressure. Oddly enough, it makes me so much more willing to let them take good care of the cars. They're also one of few shops that doesn't refuse to use parts purchased by the customer. I'm a real hater about repair shops and dealerships, but these guys have won me over.

On October 17, 2016 the battery on my 2002 Ford Explorer expired. I was fortunate that Precision Transmission was just across the street and willing to help in attempting to jump start my battery, however to no avail. Rick and Rayn were gracious enough to extend their hours of service while we traveled to/fro purchase a battery. Upon our return to their place of business Rayn was kind enough to install our new battery. I recommend without hesitation Precision Transmission to anyone requiring auto/transmission service. A.C. I brought up some issues with that trim and it was raised from being pried up. They took it back and threw a quick fix on it using panel bond to glue it down. Now what about the next guy who needs to remove that? Panel bond is like concrete. So I look at it quick and it's starting to rain. Terrible for looking over a black paint job. Get it home and noticed they chipped the paint prying with a screwdriver or something and did a very poor touch up on it. Also the blind zone system wasn't working, insurance was charged for that. I took it back after getting it in my shop under LEDs and noticing how bad the orange peel was and yes OEM has a little. Also the chip and the alerts not working. I also mentioned many times about a rattle up front in the suspension that came up when the truck went off the road. It's still there. We had to ride to Florida listening to that. I talked to the owner, never once apologized or anything. Just stood there and said they'll fix it. Almost like I was a nuisance. I'm sure I'm that guy. I get it back again and noticed it has close to 60 more miles on it than when I took it in. Weird? Maybe resetting the bcm they already charged for? 60 miles is a good trip especially since yesterday they charged the insurance $400 for a tow bill. This isn't owned by Mark Bowman anymore. I'm either going to trade the truck in, because it's still not right, or just pay out of pocket when we get back in town and get someone to fix it all right and repaint that bedside or just reshoot it myself and put it on the lift and find the rattlling. Let's pray they didn't panel bond the flare and steps on.
