If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would…read more My experience at Quick Lane in Ashland, KY was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. I originally came in for a simple oil change and also mentioned a slow leak in my right rear tire. Instead of addressing the issue properly, the staff seemed far more focused on upselling me on services and things they claimed I "needed" than actually fixing the problem I came in for and sitting and dipping and spitting it into a Mountain Dew bottle while talking to me. They quickly told me the tire couldn't be repaired and that I had to buy a brand-new one from them that day -- no explanation, just pressure. It felt like they were more interested in making a sale than helping a customer. To make matters worse, after they were "done" looking at the tire, they didn't put the wheel lock key back in my glove box. Fast forward to today (August 2), when I had an issue with the same tire , and the lock key was nowhere to be found. Every single lock on my wheels had to be stripped just to get service done. it should not always be the customer's job to make sure that the person or persons that you were taking your vehicle to to perform repair repairs. Also, does their job. And here's the kicker: that rear tire Quick Lane said couldn't be repaired? It was repaired today by a different shop -- no problem at all. So not only was their diagnosis wrong, but their lack of care and knowledge cost me extra time, money, and hassle. I shouldn't have really been surprised in any manner due to the fact that it's owned by Bill Cole and they themselves are a terrible organization as well. If you don't believe me go read my review in regards to my sister's brand new car that she purchased that they can't get fixed and it only has 9000 miles on it Bottom line: don't waste your time at Quick Lane in Ashland. If you want honest, knowledgeable service, It might be a little bit of a drive but go to Tire Discounters in Winchester, KY. They truly care, they know what they're doing, and they'll treat you with the respect every customer deserves

I came to get my Toyota serviced needed new brakes and rotors I sought nearby shops in the area and…read morethey all said the same thing that my front brakes needed some work done and with Firestone they were honest worked on my vehicle with integrity were transparent with me and were willing to work with me to get the best deal. The employees who assisted me were Nathan Tharpe and Antony Mcdonagh. Both were excellent and did an amazing job although they were short staff they did everything they could to get myself and other customers out in a reasonable time while doing an amazing job. After the service my Toyota ran and braked better with no issues. After seeing some of the other reviews on here I'd sum it up to a misunderstanding and to give Firestone in Ashland your time and business. Especially if you're anything like me where you're only available Saturday and Sunday most local shops are closed on the weekends. Great value, excellent customer service and good quality.

This story is a prime example of why I don't trust corporate car places. Read this through and…read moreyou'll feel the same way. I left my car there and took my grandpa out to lunch in his car. The team seemed really nice and professional, I even signed up for the credit card (which I'll probably now cancel.) I get a call and they tell me that they can't get the car started, so I ask if they tried moving the wheel or troubleshooting at all, which they say they didn't. They say they will try a few things and call back if there is any issues. They call me back ten minutes later and say that three techs had tried starting the car and that it's not turning, to which I concernedly said "I don't know then, I'll be back in thirty to evaluate what's wrong." I get there, get the keys, they tell me that it's futile unless I have "magic hands," so I go out, put the key in, turn the key and it starts instantly without any problems at all. No need to move the wheel, take it in and out of park or anything. I go in and honestly ask "should I leave this with y'all because it started instantly without any problems and this is a bit concerning?" The British gent in there who I was having great conversation with earlier started getting mad and said "well you can take it somewhere else" and kept saying that I'm an aggravated tone, so I left and took my car to Charlie's Tires over in Ironton. I paid $34 more and at least they can start the car and was treated with respect. Horrible experience. Can't believe the rudeness, especially over their own teams incompetence. Never going back and will propagate this story to everyone I know who needs tires.

The tale of two experiences....let me set the stage, my new 2025 Ford Explorer would not go into…read moredrive after I dropped my son off at school & I was heading to work. 1) I called Bill Cole: service didn't answer, but did get a call back. Said we could get to you Wednesday, you have to bring to us & no help until they saw it. To summarize: super crappy customer service and interaction. 2) called Glockner South Point: service walked me through fixes, tried to remote in, told me I had Ford Roadside and helped me get a truck in the way and said they would work me in this very afternoon. To summarize: Lifesaver. Do not deal with people that don't care and only care want $$$. Run away from Bill Cole.

I'm Done Being Quiet -- A Warning to Anyone Thinking About Buying a Ford (Especially from Bill Cole…read moreFord in Ashland) Let me start by saying I hate calling out businesses. My dad ran his own, and I know how hard that life is. But what I've experienced with Ford, and more specifically Bill Cole Ford in Ashland, has been so outrageous, so infuriating, and honestly so disgusting, that I can't stay quiet anymore. If this post stops even one person from going through what I did, it's worth it. I bought a Ford EcoSport, and at just 26,000 miles, the transmission failed. That's ridiculous. But it gets worse -- when they "fixed" it, they didn't even put enough transmission fluid in the car. That careless mistake caused even more issues down the line. Still, somehow, I gave them another chance. When I went in for a simple oil change, they talked me into looking at new cars -- and I made the mistake of driving off the lot with a Ford Escape. Big mistake. Since then, I've taken the Escape to the Bill Cole Ford service department FIVE times. Let me be blunt: I've never dealt with a group that showed less care or professionalism. * I've begged to speak to a service manager, and no one has ever called me back. * Last week, my car sat at their service department from Tuesday to Saturday, and I didn't get a single update. When someone finally called, it was to ask why I hadn't picked up my car -- as if I was the one dropping the ball! * They claimed they "fixed" it after driving it 40 miles -- but the moment I got back on the road, every sensor lit up again. All they did was run down my gas and waste more of my time. * And of course, when I called back again -- radio silence. No return call. No resolution. I've completely given up on getting anything fixed at this point. I'm beyond disappointed -- I'm disgusted. This whole experience has been one giant, expensive lesson. So here it is, plain and simple: Do not buy a Ford. And whatever you do, DO NOT buy one from Bill Cole Ford in Ashland. The cars are unreliable, and the service is absolutely shameful. Thanks for letting me vent. I wouldn't wish this mess on anyone.
