Last time recently (12/2025), My husband and I were in the potatoe chip isle and there was a guy laying on the floor setting mouse traps under the shelves with potatoe chips. Made us realize there was a reason. Wondered if there are rodents crawling all over the open food in produce, meat department deli and bakery, etc. Then just read that it has happened in other nearby states and they have had huge recalls on food for infestation of rodent born diseases. Rosauers should have closed for deep cleaning. WMe were there today and it was so dirty and shelves in produce and bakery in disaray. shocking! never would have thought of that actually happening. really dirty not going back. read more

When my wife wants to go out for an expensive dinner we go here to buy the stuff. Really, we only go here for the deli but the degree of difficulty is getting to the point that they can color me gone. I was in there yesterday, Saturday, at 2:30 PM and half of the salads were sitting open on top of the counter. I could care less about COVID but when you have signs up that say, respect others and wear a mask' it seems a might odd. So all these things are sitting on top of the counter uncovered. I wanted my chicken salad and couldn't find it. One lady at a cart and with her back to me was doing what turned out to be covering all the salads. She never turned around. The other lady was flying around like the place was on fire. I stood and stood. Finally the fire lady acknowledged me and said she would find my salad. She did and handed the the container with the lid that never fits. I asked for some black forest ham, shaved. She said I'm sorry we already cleaned the slicers we're closing early. Well, pardon me for coming in mid-afternoon and interrupting things. Every single time I want black forest ham, shaved it is a major problem. One time three of them said they couldn't do it. Another time the lady told me to continue shopping and she would see if she could get someone who could use the slicer. I said I had no other shopping so I'd wait. After slamming things around for five minutes she disgustedly went over and shaved me a half a pound (I'd asked for a pound) and sighed while giving it to me so I took the hint and left. Another time I went in for ham and a manager of some sort was telling stories to two of the ladies. The manager had his back to me, the ladies could see me and were trying to break contact but he storied on about slicer safety. All I have to say in the end is, with all those meats, cheeses and salads they have in those nice coolers and the slicers and all ... it would be a helluva good place to start a deli because they sure don't have one. It's a supermarket so it has everything, just the people who work there are rude, I've never been talked to so disrespectful for just asking simple questions to a store manager, a lot of interrupting me before I could finish my sentence . STALE, DRY, OLD Sugar Cookies (frosting) and Cupcake's out of the case again today!!! Today is the 5th or 6th time I've paid FULL price at Rosauers Bakery for cookies that were at a bare minimum more than 1 day old. It just seems like Rosauers Bakery is scraping every nickel out of every customer by selling stale, dry cookies and cupcakes as FRESH bakery goods, because they are in the cases but are obviously DAYS OLD, while they charge good paying customers FULL Price. I think Rosauers ought to start immediately DATING their baked goods so good customers like me don't feel totally ripped off! I'll be GOING to Super 1 from now on! read more

At around 1:25-1:45 this afternoon I was racially profiled by the old short man with a Grey beard who was watching the front door. I'd write what had happened but I don't want to waste my time typing what just happened. Just know I will be calling this store and speaking to the GM, along with calling headquarters in Spokane. I really thought I was done having to deal with racism in this state, especially I the Flathead Valley. But apparently that isn't the case. I was in such shock at what was said to me and how it was said, I honestly didn't even know how to react or what to say. It's been YEARS since I've felt as uncomfortable and awkward as I just felt being in there in that situation. ROSAUERS do better and be better...please. read more

I have fond memories of Rosauer's since childhood. They are known for treating their employees well and this is reflected in their superb customer service. The Deli is what I really like here. Sushi, cheese, olives, chicken, salads. Oh, and did I mention doughnuts? They are about the best in town. read more

This was our snack and beverage stop on our way to Glacier National Park. We spied it as we cruised a bit looking for the best gasoline prices. The store has a nice selection and layout, and a very decent selection of Montana beers. On our second stop here I found something very cool, something called "Ivarest Cream" to help with the itch of poison ivy (something I brought with me from Texas and did not know I had it until I arrived). What I liked about is that it was thick and went on heavy. Much easy to apply that a calamine lotion. Bottom line is that it helped a lot and am very glad we found this product. read more

Nice grocery store open 24 Hrs and walking distance to hilton garden inn in Kalispell. Very clean. Friendly check out. Decent selection of organic and health food oriented foods (Huckleberry's which must be regional health food store had a section inside the store at front). Most items were well priced vs other cities I travelled. Had Western Food brand items on shelves. Nice to see Dave's bread from Oregon there. Sale on kombucha was a bonus too. read more

This is one of my favorite grocery stores in town. It is so nice and big. It isn't necessarily a "health food store" but it has a lot of healthy items and it is very clean and organized. It reminds me of a Whole Foods Market somewhat. It is pretty pricey so depending on what your budget is you might love it or avoid it. They have everything you need and the people who work there are always replenishing things and helping out. The layout and just overall interior has something different about it than your other grocery stores. It is very cute and has a really good environment. Their bakery is amazing and everything they make is daily and very fresh. read more

This is actually my favorite place to eat in Kalispell. The deli has hot chicken, meatloaf, ribs, all kinds of salads. There is a place to eat in, or you can get food for a quick picnic to go. Reasonable prices. I had the macaroni and cheese, it is awesome. read more

the place was decent and had the basic things we needed. however, the woman (bobbi jo) checking us out was incredibly rude. our bagger rece was extremely nice, did his job well, and made pleasant conversation whereas she was dismissive and made numerous comments at rece that were completely uncalled for in addition to what she was saying to myself and my family. hopefully she can get her attitude in check and rece can find better coworkers. read more

Since moving to Bigfork, I haven't gotten to Rosauers as often as I'd like...but today reminded me why I need to make this store the ONLY supermarket I go to! Such great sales, fresh and clean EVERYTHING, incredibly friendly and helpful staff...and my family and I even got our flu shots! The pharmacist was terrific and we all feel so much safer! Thanks to not only the folks who work here, but to the wonder folks who shop here who were all so polite, and helped me get some items up on the highest shelves (kinda' hard for me since I'm handicapped and using one of the store's scooters). Rosauers needs to stop keeping people sick.Rosauers doesn't think they will get into trouble for lying to their diabetic customers and telling them they can't have their insulin until when they want to give it to them rather then when they need it.They will also tell you what they think the dose should be rather then what it actually is and then gleefully state you can pay cash(their bottom line is cash,not the patient's health)for the shorted insulin(keep your stock up and you wont have to lie to sick people)and lie and say it's the insurance(or the doctor,whatever works to get you off the phone without your medicine/presciption being filled),when I call my insurance I have confirmed rosauers is lying,when I call my doctor I have confirmed rosauers is lying.I know I am not the only one having this problem with rosauers.Also,many people have called them asking them to stop giving people the diabetic needles that snag,cause bruising and can potentially cause infections at the injection site.The answer they always give is,"That's all we have"instead of correcting the problem.Several options are available to them before they get into trouble for hurting someone.Carry more of the non snagging ones or stop carrying the snagging ones,and find a non snagging replacement before someone gets hurt.Pretty simple.They can choose make these changes now or deal with the consequences when they get into trouble for it.Either way what they are doing is beyond wrong.Hopefully no one dies because of their negligence before the changes they need to make are made by choice or by consequence. read more

This is my neighborhood store so I like the convenience of shopping here but... I may have to change my routine. Most of their cashier's act like they would rather be somewhere else, but there is one in particular that definitely needs to go. I have tried to avoid her line whenever possible, but when she is the only cashier working, I have no other options. She is rude, grumpy, and obnoxious. Today was my last straw. I asked if I could put one item back because I was $2.00 over the amount of cash that I had in my pocket. Rather than put $2.00 on my ATM card, I asked her if she wouldn't mind taking off one item so that I could pay with cash. She said nothing, but definitely showed attitude. Then after having to write-up the overcharge, she threw her pen back up on her register and just grunted! I felt as if she were judging me for not having the money to pay. I am a very successful professional and do not have a problem affording food for my family. I was merely trying to avoid using my ATM card for such a small amount. Go home Grumpy! read more

The price of the bread cheese was miss marked. I took the sign and the cheese to customer service requesting the marked price on sign. They said no sign was a mistake. Ok I get it. I can respect that. However I was treated poorly like I was doing something wrong?? Rude unresponsive. Answered with uh huh or yup?? Treated like a nuisance not as a guestin their store.
