Ordered at 5:50pm for delivery. I called at 7:15pm to check where my order was. The woman on the phone and the man in the background stated that there was a "setback" with the order. The woman confirmed my address. They promised delivery of my order by 7:40pm. I called at 7:50pm (still no food) and after a few minutes on hold while the woman and man scrambled to figure it out, the man got on the phone and stated that "no one confirmed the order" on their end. Long story short, the order was not even started. Unbelievable and unacceptable. How do you confirm the order to the customer, promise delivery after it was already late, and then mess it up again?! I've been going to this store for 24 years. It's always been a mainstay. Consistent...great service...great value. The old owner, Mark, was invested in the community and his food showed it. I wanted to like it after it was sold during the pandemic. I had actually forgot it sold but while eating a pizza several months ago independently noticed several changes. Distinct change (for the worse) to the sauce...distinct change (for the worse) to the crust. I just ate a 12" thin crust and it was a soggy, garlicky mess. Big bummer. I grew up on Rosati's pizza living in Wheaton and thought it was the gold standard for pizza. I lived downtown Chicago for 18 years and was exposed to an endless experience of amazing ZA. But while visiting family in Wheaton recently, I ordered it again and realized what an average pizza it actually is. I found it with very little flavor and overpriced for what's delivered. The pizza is good but I think they need to adjust their policies to accept coupons that are from companies that show that it didn't require a printed out coupon. I think the customer service is a bit on the side of displeasing and not really helpful in nature. read more

Super fast delivery, very nice people - great delivery drivers. Didn't even notice the change in management/ownership.

The food is good. However, be aware when ordering appetizers. They are very expensive and you get very little. We ordered bread-sticks for $8.99 and only received 4-breadsticks. That came out to $2.25 per bread-stick. Unacceptable! Another time we ordered fries for $4.99 and received an order the size equivalent of a McDonald's small fry. Again unacceptable! read more

Wow, I can't believe there are no reviews for this particular Rosati's! It's been around forever and I've placed my fair share of orders over the years. I've had the thin crust and more recently the stuffed. Thin crust. It's ok. I started asking for it "well done" because I like a nice crispy crust on my pizza. I've had everything from your basic cheese to their BBQ'd pizza. No major complaints BUT I don't know...after a while there was just something about the pizza that "bugged me". I felt like the spices they used were just off. I asked if they sprinkled any herbs & spices on the pizza (some places like to do that) and the gal on the phone replied "no". I was a little skeptical. I took a short break from Rosati's... One night, I decided to give Rosati's another go. I ordered a thin crust with italian beef & giardinera. Umm, YUM. The beef wasn't fatty and the giardinera was spicy & crisp. My faith was restored and that's been my go-to pizza until... one night my sister decided to stay over. We like have a little sister time and watch movies w/a little pizza. She really wanted some deep dish and I decided we would steer away from our usual Giordano's and give Rosati's a try. I have to say, it wasn't bad. Did we like it better than Giordano's? No, but we both agreed we would order a stuffed pie from 'Rosati's again. This particular night, my sister wanted to carbo-load for reasons we will not get into. So a side of garlic bread was ordered. In an effort to make sure something green got into my system I ordered the caesar salad. I really enjoyed the salad that had loads of fresh shaved parm but that stuffed pizza kept calling my name. The workers are always courteous. And on this visit the delivery man was super nice. I suspect he was one of the owners or perhaps a manager. He asked me if I had every tried their stuffed pizza before...to which I replied "no". He seemed genuinely excited that we we're giving it a go and was confident that we would enjoy it stating that he thought it was their best variety of pizza. I'm going to be nice because it's been a mixed bag when I've come here. When they're good, they're good. When not, you get the picture. 1. WHO taught these people to put SALAD (& the DRESSING) IN THE WARMER?! If this happened once, I'd let it slide. Since WHEN do you put dairy based dressing that is made to be served COLD in a warmer? Management needs to get that fixed immediately. There is NO excuse to put a salad in the warmer. 2. Food as a whole has been good with the exception of the last point. I normally eat lasagna or ravioli. Both were very good. I would suggest those for certain. Pizzas and calzones are also quite solid. I recall the meatball sandwich was good but it's been a while since I did. Service is inconsistent. Either they are very attentive of indifferent. Somehow, my menus seem to disappear (someone takes them). So from time to time, I come to get another. Or I'll come in and ask a question about something (normally if I think about it when I'm at their make neighbor, 7-11. There have been times when I have stood in the waiting area for a minute or more and NO ONE would say a word to me. Now if they're on the phone or doing something else, let me give you some training. IF that is the case, and you're anywhere near the customer (especially if you make eye contact with them), say nothing more that "Sr/Maam, someone will be with you shortly" & all will be good. My most recent visit killed me. There were 4-5 people in Black Shirts (cook staff, etc) & one guy in street clothes (I'm guessing Manager on Duty). Someone PLEASE tell my WHY these guys just SAT and said nothing to me. I waited almost 1 minute before anyone said ANYTHING to me. It seemed as it they were making small talk (I was the only customer in the room). The ONE person who FINALLY said something to me had just come back inside from taking something outside (my guess because he came through the back door). He came up to me & was very polite & handled my question. Maybe I'm not a regular & this place is for regulars only. Outsiders need not apply or visit. Some things they do well. Others need to be dealt with & these points are the ones I saw most glaring. read more

I frequent Roasati's pizza. Me and my family order every Friday night... I ordered $59 worth of pizza from hour Wheaton location and the restaurant refused to deliver my order, because I didn't designate a tip with my order. Almost 3 hours after my order was placed, I called to check status of my order. I spoke with an extremely rude manager named Glenn who basically told me they will not deliver to me as I don't tip, however my card had been charged for my order. It had not been made, and I was told if I want to have my order, I will need to come and pick it up. When I asked what happens to my delivery charge that was already paid for, and asking questions on where my money went if my order was 'cancelled' he wouldn't give me clear answers. Continued to proceed and tell me he doesn't care what I do, as I won't get my order because I don't tip. I finally drove to the location, and my order still had not been prepared!!!! So finally 3 hours or so after placing my order it was receiving after waiting an additional 20-30 Minutes for it to be prepared. Since when is a customer obligated to tip to receive their order??? We don't think it's fair to have to pay for double toppings in order to get any toppings, but what I'm looking at now as I write this is a sausage pizza where there's no sausage in the middle of the pizza. read more

We've been coming to this Rosati's for more than 20 years, its our go to place, and the pizza is generally good. Occasionally though, and more often recently, the pizza is not hot, and doesn't look fresh. I have to wonder if they are pre-making pizza's, and throwing the extra topping's on, along with more cheese, when they get an order. A few minutes in the oven to melt the cheese and ready to go. It's not good. It doesn't look like management responds to yelp reviews, so not sure my comments will result in any changes. I always go to this location and the staff is super friendly and greets you at the door. That is one of the great things about this place. I been ordering food from there for awhile and today was not a good day there. I ordered just a garden salad for pick up and chicken tenders. I asked for Chicken tenders with a side of Parmesan garlic. I know the wings are like that but, he said he can do it with the tenders. When I came home there was no silverware or napkins in my bag and only BBQ sauce with my tenders. No Parmesan garlic. I was tempted to go back, but I was too hungry. read more

I am pretty disappointed with the pizza I ordered. I love Rosati's and rave about it, so I picked up a 14 inch pizza for my boyfriend and I (who has never had Rosati's). The pizza wasn't cut well and the bottom crust of the pizza was not cooked fully so the cheese and toppings were sliding off and there was no crunch to the pizza besides the outside crust. Beef Sandwiches are superb!!!! I am not kidding either! One of the best in the area! The Cheef is a beef with cheese and then toasted. So good!!!!!!! Chicken tenders are good as well as fries, fried zucchini, small side salads if you don't want fries are fresh and reasonably priced. Pizza is very good. We are not in love with their sauce (a bit too spicy as we prefer a sweeter sauce) but overall the pizza is great. read more

Rosati's used to be a favorite of ours but it seems like the quality has gone down recently. First off they changed their Canadian bacon, which was one of our favorite toppings, from chunky bits to thin flavorless slices. Secondly, the cheese and sauce seem almost mushy to the point where everything just falls off the crust and you end up having to pick all your toppings off of the plate and eating them separately. On quite a few occasions the service there was rushed and pretty rude. We might have to try a different pizza place in the future. read more

Rosatis has great food but the customer service at this location is terrible. I've tried to give this place several chances to redeem themselves but the Staff who takes the orders have all the warmth, helpfulness and professionalism of a bill collector. the most previous experiment was a pick up in which I ordered a pie and appetizers, which would be ready in 35 min. I left @ 30 to allow some time for variance and @ 40 minutes and almost at the spot, I get a call from a girl who starts to say something and hangs up. When I arrive, the girl tells me they are out of the appetizers I ordered. I asked her why didn't anyone call me? she said she did. I told her, "you didn't even finish your message and you technically called me 5 minutes after it was suppose be ready" she just shrugged, saying she left a message with no apology--even a playcating one. If you want Rosatis, the one on Hiawatha is much better and way more professional. read more

My family has been ordering from here for years. my parents love this place. I'm more of a thick-crust lover than a thin-crust, and Rosati's has better thin-crust. My favorite is the 'Monster' Pizza ( I tried the double dough and it was actually really good with this one). Tried it for the first time recently and it was really delicious. Their Italian Beef Sandwiches are horrible. Don't try them. Chicken wings were okay, but they lacked spice/flavor and tasted like they came out of box. The french fries were good though. Just stick to the pizzas and you will be fine. Although I will warn you that their pizzas are saltier than most pizzas you find. Be prepared to drink lots of water after ordering any pizza with meat. Still, I like their 'Monster' pizza. Many of the high schools in the area have ordered Pizzas from Rosati's for special events and tournaments throughout the years. I too had a coupon for this location for 50% off a pizza. Claims he's been suing them for 3 years. Told me to call them for a refund. I'm thinking, hey this shouldn't be my problem. I countered with what other existing coupons could he offer me. He mentioned a 10% coupon but wouldn't shut about the 50% coupon. I had Star War tickets to go to so I told him to simply apply the 10% and lets call it a day. This manager, not liking that I cut him off, tells me that if I asked him nicely, he would be willing to give me the 10% discount......Wow. Horrible customer service. It wasn't about making the customer happy. He just wanted a soap box to stand on and spew his negative attitude. I felt bad for the teenage workers watching this guy treat a customer this way. Pizza is ok, used their online ordering system a few weeks ago. I'd used it previously and had good success. Very convenient. But this particular time, I called them 1 hour after placing the order to check on estimated delivery time and was told that their email program used to transmit the online orders wasn't checked so no online orders had been placed. They apologized and said to make it up to me, they'd put my order in and get it out next. Ummmm, ok, but isn't that what you're supposed to do anyways?! So......a total of 2 1/2 hours after I placed the order, the delivery guy shows up and says sorry we didn't start up the email program. That's it. No coupon, no "our bad, no charge on this pizza" or "the next one's on us"....Pizza's not bad, customer service needs improvement. I've been a customer here for many years, and I can't get enough of this pizza! Unlike the other corporate Rosatis, this one uses fresh ingredients and they even make the sauce. Although it is no longer family owned, you still go there and get a great vibe from the employees. The price is only a little higher than other pizza places, and is absolutely worth it for the quality. I would strongly suggest going to Pizza Hut if you want a cheap, low-quality pizza. I've only had a handful of issues (in 15 years), all of which have been resolved by a nice conversation with an employee after calling back. They have a somewhat strict coupon policy, but luckily all you have to do is ask on the phone and the employee will have no problem explaining it to you. They seem happy to help! Very shady business practices. Would not except online coupon even though coupon was specific for that location. I had a coupon on my phone specific to the location right in front of me with a QR barcode with the coupon number, and this location would not except it unless I had a printed copy. No where on the certificate or coupon does it say that the coupon needs to be printed. Most franchisees would honor the coupon, regardless, but this location would not.
