I recently visited Rosati's and I have to say, this place truly delivers top tier pizza. From the moment you take your first bite, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. They shred their mozzarella in house and chop fresh vegetables every morning, and the quality really shines through. The Chicago style pizza is incredible. It is loaded with toppings and packed with bold flavor. Every slice feels hearty and satisfying, exactly what you want from a true deep dish pizza. The thin crust was just as impressive. We ordered the white pizza and the garlic oil had the perfect amount of flavor without being overpowering. It was balanced, crispy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the pasta and you could immediately taste the housemade sauce. The difference between this and a typical sauce is night and day. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Why did it take us so long to discover Rosati's?!?! I've always been leery about deep dish pizza since in my past experiences, it's been too heavy & too much crust. Yes there is a wait for the pizza since it's cooked to order but trust me, it's totally worth it. Get there early since there's not a lot of seating & the service is a bit scattered. The large Caesar salad was a very generous portion as was the garlic bread with cheese. The pizza is one of the best deep dish pizzas I've had. Crust was not too thick. Sauce was perfect! No visible pepperoni. I had taken a few bites without tasting any. Found it! It was hidden "Chicago style" under the cheese. Mild flavor which I prefer. My slice was pretty small. Oh, Rosati's, why do you make it so hard for customers to dine in? We came in excited for dinner and a young woman bringing out take out pizzas said someone would be out to seat us. We waited and waited, but no-one came. The owner, who was dining with friends, saw us waiting to be seated and went to the kitchen and told the person who had passed us previously that we were waiting and she just walked away from him! He went and got someone else who took a while to come out of the kitchen. He asked if we had called in an order and were said no, we'd like to dine in. He told us to choose between two tables and went back to the kitchen saying he'd return. Mind you, there was no-one at any other table and there were four employees in the kitchen. One table was in a cold section, the other in an area in what would be high traffic so we choose a booth. When he came out we were told we couldn't sit there cos it was set up for someone else. He directed us again to the two tables we didn't want. I asked for one that was next to the booth that needed to be wipped off. He said he'd get a rag. We waited and waited and nothing. Seriously, how long does it take to get a rag? We were at the point of feeling this is just too hard and decided to leave. If you only want to do carry out and don't want customers dining in please just put up a sign to that effect. It'll save customers frustration and you might retain them rather than lose them. read more

The Chicago Pizza is the signature pie at Rosati's Pizza. This pie is hefty weight and one slice is easily a meal with a salad. I ordered delivery of the 12 inch Chicago Pizza. The pie arrived broken apart in the box. Apparently this heavy pie moved around in the box during transport. I think there needs to be some way to stabilize this big pie so that it doesn't break apart so easily and stick to the top of the box and sides. The flavor is good with a balance of tomato gravy that had good slightly sweet flavor. The pie is cooked for 40 minutes and has good crust. The salad was fresh and completely pairs with this pie. Definitely worth ordering another one. Maybe my next pie will not become soup at delivery. read more

As a family from Northern Illinois, one of the only things we miss now living in NC (besides our family) is good pizza and this Rosatis pizza location is just as good as the ones from home. The pizza is amazing and the italian beef's are excellent. The staff is kind and helpful. We love coming back and will continue to do so as often as we can! read more

Trying real hard to figure out the low star rating (though it looks the most recent are high reviews). Took this drive to Morrisville specifically for this pizza and it didn't disappoint at all. By far one of the best deep dish pizzas I've had. Crust is just perfect enough to where it wasn't too thick but strong enough to hold the sauce and toppings (ordered pepperoni & sausage). The sauce itself was very nice, tomato flavor for sure with a good amount of chunk to it. This pizza has a great bite and so full of flavor. Then had it for leftovers the following day and still very good. I highly, highly recommend pizza here. read more

Being from Chicago, I can honestly say that this place is the closest I have come to in getting a Chicago style pizza. Their thin crust cheese and sausage is the best I have tasted since moving here 5 years ago. I have tried numerous places within the triangle and nothing comes close. The place must be under new ownership in 2025. The quality of the the pizza has gone very downhill, with every pizza having 1/2 of the toppings that they previously had. While I do understand that you are suffering from the same inflation everyone else is, this reduction in quality is unacceptable. We LOVE it here! We have been to Rosati's about 4-5x over the past 2 months, we usually come after going to the movies in Morrisville. We have always dined in since we live about 15 minutes away from the restaurant. Each time we have come, it's been around 2-3 PM on a weekend afternoon, usually the restaurant is pretty empty. We have had 3 different servers take care of us, all of them were good about refills and checking back on us. Usually, it's my husband and I coming, but sometimes my parents join. Generally, we order the large Chicago style deep dish, which is just the right amount for the four of us. If it's just two of us, we like taking the extra slices home for dinner or the next day's meal. The pizza itself is delicious, so flavorful and filling. Keep in mind the pizza does have chunky tomatoes in the sauce and I know that's not for everyone. Also, it takes about 30 minutes for the pizza to be made, but they do give you some delicious, warm bread to hold you over. I'm a New Yorker, so I am not a deep dish pie expert by any means, but this is some of the best we have had of this type of pizza. read more

This was my first time here. My husband and I were in Chicago this past weekend and he had Pizzeria Uno for the first time. Now back in Durham, he was craving Chicago-style pizza, so we came here.
