Last night I ordered a pizza which I do at least 3 times a week using the XL Meal Deal Coupon from their website, which I will attach a picture of. I have been ordered from this location in Huntley for over 15 years, and yes there was a few issues here and there but never like this. Last night I received our pizza under cooked and barely any cheese on it. I always order xtra cheese and well done when I order. When I called back last night about my pizza, a man named Juan came on the phone yelling at me he was doing nothing for me, said I rip off the company for years using their coupon, he said he made the pizza and would not do anything about it. He told me that I have stole from their restaurant for using their coupon which has no expiration date on it and is online. He said he was firing every person that ever took an order from me, told me to that he was banning me from ever ordering from their location, laughed at me saying call corporate they will never do anything for you, that the customers mean nothing to them and he was right , he said customers are ripping off the store and he is there to stop this and will fire all employees for taking their coupons. He said I was thief by placing my orders with their coupon and stealing from them. The coupon is marked $24.99, free delivery, free 2 liter and 2 toppings on a 18 inch pizza which is what I order and add more usually. They have always taken my order without any hesitation. This man said do you what you want because he will make sure I can never order form there again and its my fault he is firing his employees. He yelled at me, stated that no matter how long I have been a customer or how much I spent through years his corporate office would tell to F Off and do nothing for me or any other customer he would make sure of that. When my son called back after hearing him yell at me and and told him he was coming to the store with the coupon and the website pulled up, Juan said no no thats not necessary and told him just the opposite of what he said to me. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a company that has wonderful people answering the phone such as Eric who is always a sweetheart when he takes my order, as well as many others and great delivery drivers. 1st time ordering from this location on 10/12/24. Ordered thin crust cheese, pepperoni and black olives, and 12 bone in wings. Food was delivered quickly and delivery driver was very friendly. So service 5 stars. Pizza crust was not crisp at all, flavor good but the soft, borderline soggy crust is not to my liking. 2 stars. Average at best. Wings were crap. 1 star. I drove all the way back, Pizza in hand, praying they would make us a new pizza with BLACK Olives, no charge.... Brandon in the back came up to the front counter and was so empathetic to our little mishap. They were extremely Busy with a couple customers in the lobby and major delivery orders being made. Tonight, we have a friend over who is vegetarian, so we used a coupon to get a free cheese pizza with our large pizza with meat. When the driver showed up, we only had the large meat pizza. So my wife called and talked to the manager, who tried to say she probably forgot to mention the coupon, which I know she didn't because I was sitting next to her when she ordered. Outstanding dinner tonight! Called just after 3 not realizing they didn't open until 4. The gentleman who answered happily took my order and said it would be ready at 4 when they opened. We had an anniversary coupon (what other restaurant even gives anniversary coupons???!!) for 2 servings of lasagna, 2 meatballs, 2 garlic breads, 2 side salads, and 2 cannolis for $20, and HOLY COW! I've only eaten here twice. Once was a long time ago - at least 2 years ago and then again just today. I got a large thin crust with spinach, tomatoes, and feta. Had it delivered along with a salad. Everything arrived just fine and the guy seemed nice and happy. The pizza tastes really great! No complaints - only 4 stars because I remember their desserts being kinda blah - but that was from a couple years ago. If I try them again and they are better - I'll update :) Also - I ordered online (the only pizza place in Huntley with online ordering right now) and it said it would be 40 minutes and it was almost exactly. The one complaint I have on their online order form - I actually first went to order the Mexican pizza they had with ground beef, jalapenos, cheddar, and a couple other toppings. I'm a big fan of the Rosati's brand. Most of the time they make the cheesiest pizzas you can find. However my first and only trip to this Rosati's location was a miserable experience. The cheese was inconsistent and almost every time I grabbed a slice from the pie, the cheese would go sliding off the bread. Such a weird experience! The girls at the counter seem completely clueless, including the "manager" While waiting another customer showed up with gift cards only to be told that they weren't for this location and only for the Woodstock location even though the cards did not say any location. Ordered a sausage thin crust for pick up. When I arrived the young man who waited on me (wish I had his name) brought out my pizza and said this is more over baked than what we normally serve and asked if I still wanted the pizza or they could bake me a new one. I opted for the one already baked. After accepting that pizza, he asked if I would like a 2 liter of soda on the house which I said wasn't necessary but he insisted. Surprised by the relatively low rating on Yelp. Most lower ratings seem to be based on service issues rather than the quality of the pizza/food. My own experience ordering pizza for delivery multiple times has been positive. The pizza has been very good, and except in one case, the pizza has arrived suitably hot and fresh. I am the guy who routinely orders pizzas with "cheese to the edge". I hate when pizzas arrive with up to an inch of only sauce at the edge. I always order "cheese to the edge" when I call Rosatis, and on most occasions they comply. (Based on experience ordering from various pizza joints, this is easier said than done.) After a day of shopping (Black Friday). We went home and ordered for delivery. Our order was taken quickly but, we had to add an item on 5 minutes after the initial call. No problem. I eat here a lot since I work in Huntley. Mostly I choose the pasta. I will say that they need to ease up on the salt. I'm sitting here eating lasagna and I can barely taste the cheese or the tomato. It's like one giant salt lick. It's usually salty to be honest...so this isn't a one time thing. But I think this particular dish is just overbearingly salty. Horrible customer service! We have been going weekly to Rosatis for Friday Night Pizza night for years!! The pizza isn't anything special, but it was convenient. Unfortunately the service here is terrible. We'd wait the hour for our pizza, and then wait and wait. The food often came cold or wrong. When calling to have it fixed, they tell you too bad, you now have to wait another hour because there are other deliveries ahead of you! Seriously, It was a salad, and I already waited an hour and you delivered it wrong the first time. So now I have to wait another hour for you to fix it while my family eats their dinner? Ridiculous! Had a poor experience with Huntley of Rosati's last night. Chk#96 Order taker Salma R - Called in to order a Large thin crust half pepperoni/half sausage, pepp, bacon, and meatball pizza. I had a coupon for a free 12' thin crust cheese which I explained on the phone. When the order was read back, the initial pizza was incorrect and I re-explained my order. When I arrived for pickup, I was told that I had only one pizza that was in my order. I said that was not the case and that I had the coupon to use for the free 12'. I was then asked if I stated this on the phone to which I replied that I did. Instead of stating that she was sorry, I was told that usually they don't have it on the order because the person ordering does not state they have the coupon and that it would take about 15 minutes to add on the pizza if I still wanted it. I don't understand how a simple apology and some sort of responsibility couldn't have been taken for the mishap. The driver called to explain what happened. I then called the restaurant because frankly this is ridiculous. He didn't offer to take off the delivery charge (which I'm sure is higher for hampshire than it is for Huntley) and was incredibly rude. First order of pizza: showed up to pick it up after 40 minutes, and they hadn't even started making it. Took them 15 minutes to find my order in their system. While I was there someone else had called in to complain that part of their order wasn't delivered. Tonight ordered Chicken Cesar Salads for pickup. I got home to find no chicken on the salads. The manager offered credit or to deliver new salads. They delivered two new salads at no charge 20 minutes later. When I walk into the location the staff seems very disorganized. Beware of what day you order from this place in Huntley. We are regular customers who order every other week from Rosatis-Huntley but over the last few months, depending on what day you order, their pizza sauce can be completely different from any other day - one day the sauce is seasoned, spicy and not acidic. The next time you order the ingredients slide off and the sauce tastes exactly like tomato paste from a can - very acidic, not seasoned and sour. Sometimes the crust is crunchy and well done, other times it is barely cooked. If throwing darts is your game then try this place. If not a gambler, then look elsewhere for your pizza. I waited 6:44 to call back after being told the order would be 35 min. Because I knew the weather was bad, I decided to wait even longer. Finally half of my order arrive at 7:20pm. The driver had given away my Pepsi and asked me to call in for credit- decided NOT to tip him. I called and notify them that the driver had given away my Pepsi and asked for credit for drinks. I was told manager Abraham would issue a FULL REFUND! After speaking to him today he notify me that he has to call the credit company and issue a refund it could take up to 7 days. When ordering a pizza for delivery you expect it to come to you hot. Not lukewarm. The cheese was already set and not gooey like pizza normally is. Basically room temperature. I called up the restaurant to ask to speak to a manager and spoke to Jamie, a young lady answering the telephone. She informed me that there was no manager on duty. I complained about the temperature of my delivered pizza and she explained to me that I was not the only one complaining about the same thing this evening. I saw that Rosati's was open until 11pm so I called to place an order at 10:32pm. The lady proceeded to tell me that they were closed (albeit 28 mins early) but took my order as if I was inconveniencing her.
