Horrible ! They gave me cheese only no sausage . Was on hold for over 7 minutes. I called at 9:15 for a pickup pizza they close at 10:00 said no . I went through Uber and was able to place order for pizza . They gave me all cheese no sausage. Pizza was gross . I called twice no one answered. I have to go through uber to get my money back . The pizzas from other Rosati's are never as good as darien,s They take pride in their work and seem to come to perfection the right amount of sauce the right amount of cheese and the crust is always delicious and crispy. Rosatis is our go to place for thin crust pizza, but today, take out Tuesday was just for crazy great Italian. Called in our order as usual for pizza but surprised them with a different order. My wife wanted chicken parmesan spaghetti with extra marinara and a small salad with garlic dressing. Oh it comes with garlic bread too. I had baked mostacholli, a side of Italian sausage and of course a small salad with Italian dressing. He said 20 minutes on the phone, I got there with just a few minutes to go, greeted me and knew my order and brought it out. OK I'm going to agree doesn't look like much when you're passing by but I moved to California so I don't get to eat my old Chicago style pizza all the time. It's a rare treat for me to have pizza anymore but I was starving and nearby and I stopped in and was happily surprised by how good the cheese pizza slice was and it's enormous I think so anyway. I ordered extra thin 18" and wanted extra sauce extra mushroom. I believe ordering online build your own takes 1/2 pizza at a time. So I got 1/2 extra mushroom & 1/2 cheese. Some complained about a bank charge. I got a charge and refund for paying cash on the same receipt. $5 delivery, tax was about $2 so it was $34 all together. Gave dude $6 tip during what people here call a snowstorm. Crisp crust, tasty sauce, good mushrooms. So good I wonder if it's fortified w msg or something. EXPENSIVE! Ridiculous prices for a pizza! I called trying to order a pizza. I explained to them that they have a coupon on their webpage. They were honoring the coupon, one 16 inch pizza with one topping and includes a drink... As I'm trying to explain, I want a cheese and pepperoni pizza and then I want to add jalapeños the prices she was giving me was not the prices of the coupon... My total ended up being around $45 for a 16 inch pizza with two toppings and a free pop... When I was trying to tell her no that's not what the coupon says she put me on hold and then got somebody else on the phone, which he proceeded to tell me that they actually are not going to honor the coupon and that's a old coupon and I told him it's on the website and regardless they should have it on their website... keep in mind I've been coming here since I was like 14 years old ...I end up hanging up the phone and I'm going to get food somewhere else but there's no business ever at this location so you would think that they would try to bring in more clientele. Aiight so I love me some Rosati's pizza- been eating here since senior year of high school (I'm 31 now) when I worked in the same strip mall area. That's why it hurts me to rate this 3 stars but they did me wrong this past weekend & I was feeling salty so I decided to express my feels / warn others off this "deal". They've got those pizza tabs on the size of the box that say "50% off one pizza or your choice when you save 12 coupons" - first off, that's a lot of pizzas to order to only get 1/2 off - y'all should give $75 or a free small pizza instead! Next, as seen by the receipt, they only apply the 50% off to a base cheese pizza of any size; they do NOT include toppings in the deal. This is not stated on the tab so literally everyone is going to assume the 50% off includes the total price! Lastly, $3.25 per topping is outrageous. So unless you're just gna get a 1-topping or basic cheese pizza, don't waste your time tryna collect these pizza tabs. Don't get me wrong, I'm gna continue to order from here cuz their pizza is delicious, but I'm definitely not gna save these tabs anymore, the "deal" isn't worth your effort. Picked up two slices at 3 in the afternoon dough was extra chewy and Soggy because they put plastic over it and box it in a warming oven for who knows how long. STANDARDS PEOPLE COME ON!! Delivery also being the pizza hot in 30 - 40 minutes. Located in the end unit of a strip mall there is no seating strictly carry out. They always have coupons and/or a deal, just ask. Disappointed! I regularly choose this place over the Willowbrook Rosati's which is closer due to the excellent service and frankly better pizza. I especially looked forward to their Monday & Tuesday 1/2 off coupon at this location. I understand if a store wishes to discontinue an offer at the end of a coupon run for whatever reason they see fit. However, if a store still has coupons circulating with an expiration of 8/17/18, I expect them to honor it. Instead they offered an alternate (not as good) discount. This is clearly false advertising in every sense of the word. At best it's poor management trying to control food costs. I am very disappointed that you couldn't even honor your coupon through it's printed expiration date. It's a shame, but I will stand on principal. At a minimum, you have lost a customer. I doubt it is worth my while to go to court over such a small amount, but I will make sure I inform all my friends and neighbors in the Darien area. Farewell Darien Rosati's. read more

The last time we ordered pick up we were put on hold for over ten minutes and then hung up on and had to call back. When I arrived around an hour after putting the order in to pick up it took them three different times to find my order and I was still sitting there for 20-30 minutes. The lady asked me three times my order and name and there was yelling in the kitchen. We live down the street. This customer service here is despicable. We always order out on Monday's at work... often it is Rosati's. So we ordered delivery today (5/4/15) that only consisted of 3 salads. One Caesar with onion. One Caesar without onion. One Greek salad. What we got was three Caesar salads with onion. Okay... so we call to see if they can at least re-deliver the Greek Salad. The guy on the phone said NO and that he would give us a discount salad in the future.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Then he says that we can deal with it because they're basically the exact same thing. Dude, are you drunk at work? The Caesar salad has no feta, no olives, no banana peppers, its even a different type of lettuce and there was no Greek dressing.
