I called for 20 minutes and whoever was working would answer the call, not say anything, and place me on hold for minutes at a time before I had to hang up and keep trying. I can even hear the background of people talking for a couple of seconds and then me being placed on hold. After 20 minutes, I gave up. I feel like this is extremely rude and disrespectful. I had a good experience with my first order from here. Ordering online is pretty easy and I like that you can choose to have wings and fries cooked well-done. They should add an option for easy sauce/seasoning on wings. I tried the garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, mango habanero and mild Buffalo sauce wings. I probably liked the mild Buffalo the best, it had just a spec of heat. Lemon pepper is a little too artificial tasting and the mango habanero is too sweet for me. I thought the garlic parm flavor wasn't strong enough. The wings and fries were very crispy like we requested them to be. Glad to have another wing option nearby. read more

Ordered wings for an afternoon party 24 hours in advance. My husband went to pick them up at the requested pick up time and they had not even started making them. My husband asked them why and the girl called the manager and he said they were busy. He said he could have them ready in about 20 minutes. My husband said he expected a break on the price for the inconvenience. He went and sat in the car and waited. Since my name and number was on the order, the manager called me to let me know. This is 40 minutes later. I told him we had guests, my husband was in the car waiting and how their service was unacceptable. The manager hung up on me. My husband got the wings and the bill was $84.00. My husband asked if he gave him a discount for them not being ready. The manager said 'no,' but I will give you a 5% discount. My husband said "I just wanted to see if you would do anything for the inconvenience. I don't want a discount I want you to realize how you treat customers. Keep your $4.00." I will NEVER go to this location again and would rather drive twice as far for better service. I would give them less than one star if I could. read more

Ordered 6 boneless wings and the guy said it'll take 10 minutes minimum. I sat in my car and went back in after 13 minutes past, once i got in i waited an extra 10 minutes before he said anything to me then he says my food will be ready in 2/3 minutes which will make it a total of 23 minutes of me waiting for 6 boneless wings. The service was very unprofessional as he bagged up 3 take out orders and i still haven't received my order. The food is good. The service isn't bad also isn't stellar strictly because every time I have ordered from here I have either called in an order or ordered online. They give you a time frame to come pick up your order usually 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the order. I was told between 15-20 minutes I don't live far so I ran an errand before hand and even arrived late because they are never on time. Once again I was stuck waiting for another 15 minutes because they didn't even start my order yet. Then the employees continue to tell you "just 5 minutes" about 3 times. The food is still good but they really need to figure out the carry out service better to be more efficient. I honestly no longer like ordering from this specific location anymore all because they cannot time their orders. Please Wingstop downers grove if you see this take this as constructive criticism.
