I love that the café collects fun drawings and pops them up on the wall to display! I can imagine that children would love to see their pieces of art on the wall when they return. If you need coffee, you will fine strong and flavoursome beans here. Just what I love! I like a well rounded coffee that picks me up with a kick of caffeine. That is why I always order a strong flat white. And that is exactly what I received. Perfect! After a long morning, coffee always goes well with a treat. Oh yeah, bring on the Dutch Style Brownie. A little drier than most brownies; But I think that is the style. Nice chocolate flavour and really hit the spot. I am told that the brekkie and lunch here are also really good. They're currently only closed Monday and open 8-4 Tuesday - Saturday; 9-4 Sunday. It's tiny (maybe 5 tables) with a few spots outside, but well worth putting on your coffee route. Masses of parking around the back, but slow down coming up Magill Road or you'll miss it. Keep an eye out for their big yellow sign and a couple of yellow chairs out the front.

It was $9.90 which would have been OK if it was packed tighter. You know when wraps aren't filled enough and you're pretty much eating the wrap? Overall an OK experience. The staff are hilarious here - if Godfather was a comedy, MPP would be like a scene out of that movie. Authentic Italian culture and atmosphere radiate from this humble pizza pan through the buzz of customers, the loud staff cracking jokes and laughing, and Angelo - the owners father-in-law, who used to own the place but now just works there. He caters to each individual table himself, bringing out food and liaising with customers. My favourite dish would have to the Penne Amatriciana. You just can't go past that sauce, it's amazing. Thick, rich and just the right hint of spice. From the outside it looks unassuming but, as you will find, it has upmarket clientele, hence they are also a little pricey but never fail to provide a good feed.

We enjoyed the Falafel Salad and would have ordered the Spinach Pie, but that was already too popular and sold out! The atmosphere is relaxed, the cafe is spacious and feels light and roomy. One of our group had a really great juice and we all enjoyed the food and coffee. We were the last people to leave - they were very polite in not rushing us out the door, even though they would have been keen to do so. I would definitely return.
