This place doesn't look like much from the outside but it is nicely kept on the inside. I made my coffee order first because that's what I came here for. They looked like they know coffee. I think sometimes I make that assumption when a place is an 'espresso bar'. Either way, I wasn't disappointed. They stock Ducale coffee and used Bonsoy, which was a winner. I was a little put off by the price. I only ordered a small coffee which was $3.80 and then soy was an extra 50 cents. Soy went up with the sizes, 80 cents for medium and $1 for a large. Bit rough. I could rant but I will refrain.
I ordered a falafel wrap under duress as the person serving me had punched my coffee order in to the till and was eager to serve the next person who had just walked in. It was $9.90 which would have been OK if it was packed tighter. You know when wraps aren't filled enough and you're pretty much eating the wrap?
Overall an OK experience. Nice service, but a bit rushed. Great coffee, but a bit overpriced. Nice food, but not enough of it for the price. read more
