Totes don't get the spelling but I won't hold that against them!

Don't judge them on the name. I'm sure someone thought it was a hilarious pun-a-licious idea to call this place something incredibly hard to pronounce and spell. I was so relieved when I saw a true independent coffee shop opened on Hutt St that I could support with my daily coffee and working from home procrastination habit without guilt. They do a range of coffee types (pour overs, cold drip and your standard espresso). All the fancy coffee machines are out on show but I don't know how many people actually order the fancy stuffs. I haven't eaten from the lunch or brekkie menu here but I have enjoyed their energy balls from the cabinet (those peanut butter goji things are the perfect snack) and enjoyed their "I can't believe it's a vegan brownie" vegan brownie. I've been holding off on this review since I went here the first week they opened, and these guys now consistently deserve the 4 star rating I'm giving them. The service is always friendly and the coffee is damn consistently smooth (take away and dine in) - more to come once I have dined in!

    Cheesecake was great!

Dwarfed by it's large neighbour this little cafe packs a punch when it comes to the beverage and dessert selection. The iced coffee was larger than life and delicious while my more unassuming late was pretty good too. The beef sanga (any sandwich with an egg is a sanga in my eyes) wasn't as good as what you would expect for a lofty 14 dollars, you'd maybe expect steak strips instead of colesish beef bits, or rocket or some other on-the-button hipster trend food chucked in there. But the cheesecake saved it for us, beautifully plated and verrrry good! Might pop back, this side of the city is where it's at! Would be great for coffee dates and pit stops.

I drive down Hutt st often and it took me a while to decipher the name. They have Veneziano coffee. Several different brewing methods including cold drip, siphon, pour over and regular espresso. Definitely worth checking out for a good coffee and friendly service.

5 star coffee, 3 star food For the first time in a year I have not put a sugar in my coffee from this place it was blended to perfection. The smell of the beans and even the temperature was perfect even topped with a fee button chocs to the side (see my pic). The ket down was the food presentation was 10/10 but my focaccia was pressed in a sandwich toaster so this compacts the trade mark focaccia texture. Could have toasted this under the grill separate then assembled would have made it perfect. If your a lover of American/Canadian style bacon you will get flashbacks from here the bacon is very American style and super tasty.

Choc Ripple Cheesecake- the stuff of dreams! If you can get to sleep after all the coffee...!

When I first heard of this place, I had just moved into the area and a stranger approaches me on Hutt Street and says "Hey, you like coffee? This is the place to go to..." Well if a stranger felt like sharing the good news, then indeed I was obligated to check the place out! Coffylosophy is indeed a great place to go to for a fine brewed bean and joins the ranks of Adelaide's beat specialty boutique coffee houses, where beverage becomes art. The cafe offers a variety of methods to enjoy your coffee from straight forward espresso to cold drip and a range of fancy glassware reminiscent of a mad scientist's laboratory. The knowledgable staff and high quality of food and drink make this little place definitely worth a venture into. Heck, venture in almost every day and I guarantee you will see faces you saw last time; probably make a new friend or two if you come a few times. This place has a loyal following of regulars, and I have quickly become one of them!

Coffylosophy is situated on Hutt St Adelaide. Presently is the number one coffee venue on the Beanhunter App. Very well appointed inside. A dramatic decor with black walls and ceilings, but one wall is papered with very realistic shelves of books with a library effect, creating an intimate cosy ambience. Out side the footpath is covered over, with comfortable black tables and chairs, making a popular alfresco area. As expected the coffee was excellent, the service friendly, with a good display of fresh, tempting dishes, cakes and pastries., accompanies with a good menu. We found this venue very relaxing, well worth the effort to visit.

Needless to say it has haunted my dreams since, so today after a hard workout my husband and I biked over for lunch. The first thing that strikes you while approaching from Kitchener Street is the lush, inviting covered wrap around porch; there is plentiful and adequately spaced tables located here (so as not to be forced to overhear unwanted convos). Next, upon entering this clean and tidy cottage you will notice three separate distinct seating areas: the main dining area, a smaller dining area tucked away by the kitchen and pastry counter, and a delightful and welcoming covered deck. We were promptly greeted by one of the friendly staff and seated straight away. Tap water, glasses, and menus were waiting at the table and after an appropriate amount of time our order was taken and special requests confirmed. This place is really busy but it seems well managed; the staff is very attentive without being intrusive. As we waited for our order we noticed the bustling and efficient staff who worked like a well oiled machine - dirty dishes were quickly removed from tables, additional carafes of tap water were dropped off without being asked for, and patrons seemed relaxed, very happy, and satisfied. By meals' end we, too, were among those happy people. My husband ordered a sandwich that I struggle to recall the name ;( it was a hearty sandwich made from perfectly toasted sourdough, grilled chicken breast meat, swiss cheese, garlic aioli, a mix of tender and flavourful greens, and crispy bacon. I ordered the smashed avocado with feta on the same delightfully prepared sourdough. It, too, came with a generous portion of greens. We could not be happier with our newfound neighbourhood brekkie place. AND there is a coffee loyalty card to boot!

Coffee is amazing and will try a long black next time to fully appreciate the full flavour. Short black may bounce me off the wall! The big roller door is the 'front door', wonder how will it work in the colder months but for now it is fantastic! The Parade West may be and could be a busy thoroughfare but I hardly notice it being a Monday morning. The deco overall is minimalist with 2 separate dinning areas, the back area is nice and quiet if you wish to 'work'. Food wise, there are bagels, brownies, melting moments etc but the choice is limited, I didn't see any food menu on the counter but I noticed there's a sandwich press and toaster. I am sure if you'd ask, they will tell you what they have to offer. All coffees are double roasted. Great place to be if you want to avoid the 'crowd' of the Parade. There are heaps of offices in the precinct and with great coffees they will do well!

A few name changes later, it was the ever popular Nano's with a roaring trade that gave them the confidence to step up to the big league and open a much larger store off Rundle Street, much to the disappointment of Hutt Street locals. Since then it has been rebadged as Arlecchino's (ar-la-key-knows), a traditional Italian joint with mamma at the front counter. There is a fair variety of rolls and sandwiches with a handful of hot dishes, and a few sweet treats for after. My favourite is a corn fritter with salad - very reasonable at around $15. Unfortunately, the coffee doesn't have much depth and is usually served scalding hot, even when I've asked for it at Italian temperature. The best bit about this cafe is the beautiful tuscan courtyard covered with vines. It is a lovely spot to escape the business of the street and a popular place to meet friends for a midday meal.

While the food has been good here, the coffee has let it down a touch, but I must say that on this particular day, the coffee was excellent!! I was told that in the coming months a lot will be added to the current menu. Pizza's, Pasta's and gelati. The food itself - absolutely delicious. My favourite thing to get here is breakfast, and I've never been even slightly disappointed with anything that has arrived at my table. I LOVE the avocado mash dish but everything is gold. Aside from the food, what I love about this place most of all are its little quirky touches - every time I visit I notice some other little touch in the decor! The theme was stationary, where each person receives free materials, instructions and guidance to make old-school paper stationery such as notepads, books, zines and notebooks, travel books, and it was all about being creative and book binding. This was a great social event, as many of us never bound books/note books by hand, it the guests and staff helped each other to complete out selected activity.
