I had the rice paper wrap with tofu in it. I could only eat half as I was so full. The seasoning on the fries is so good.. and the cucumber salad was top notch. Even the drinks in the cooker area were very interesting that I had never seen before. It's very clear that this is a very well thought out restaurant. The only feedback I would give is to add a couple of options for vegan gluten free in the menu. My wrap had to be customized and communicating with the chef was a bit of a challenge due to language.

At first, I was disappointed they didn't have Chicago Italian beef. So I asked what they would recommend, and the very polite lady behind the counter said, "You should try my meatball sub." I laughed and told her, "I don't know... my late grandma (100% Italian) made the best meatballs ever, but alright, let's do it." Then she asked, "Do you want peppers?" and of course my reply was, "Heck yeah!" She chuckled. When the sub came out, I have to say, it was huge. I sat down, took one quick smell and a bite... BOOM. I was instantly transported back to my grandma's kitchen, eating Saturday pasta and meatballs. I highly recommend checking this little gem out. Parking is street and wasn't too bad for a Friday night! All in all would absolutely recommend!

My first thought after taking the first bite was WOW this Italian hoagie bread was perfect/fresh with that great chew/pull. Even with the skimpy meat the whole combination with me tweaking the sandwich was so fu#king delicious I got a second one to take back to WI for dinner. The area probably has a better Italian deli the residents will tell you but I'm in town once a year so next year I will try another Italian deli until I find one to start a new tradition like my old friend for many years that is no more. My final thought is that the price point is similar to the chain sub restaurants with a high quality sub sandwich and why anyone in the area that goes to a chain with this gem is beyond me because they do an authentic Italian sub very well.

I spotted this place on our way back to the car, and we decided to go there. We both got their Prime Rib Steak Sandwich, with chips and a drink. I also splurged and got a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The sandwiches were very tasty and nicely prepared. The chips were, well, chips. They were fresh and not beyond their freshness date. The chocolate chip cookie was tasty! Service was solid - we arrived, looked at the menu, made our orders and the food was correct. The place is nice inside, very clean and the food tasted great.
