If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Do NOT come here or at least do NOT see Dr Pham. We initially came here for a consultation and Dr Pham kept us waiting for almost an hour. When we did see her, she literally spent about 5 minutes speaking with us (my father who is 90 years old) and that was it. She was dismissive and very hard to understand. The front office team is very nice and understood that we were waiting for an unreasonable amount of time so they refunded us the $150 consultation fee. We decided to return for treatment as my father was in pain and Dr Pham indicated she could treat his teeth quickly. We had an appointment scheduled for today, Monday 11/4/2024 at 2:000. At 1:00, the office called asking if we can move our appointment to 3:30 as Dr Pham was running behind. We said yes. We arrived promptly at 3:30 and Dr Pham was not ready again. We had to wait until 4:00 when I told the front office that if we had to wait longer, we would leave and at this point, it would be better to find a new endontics practice despite my dad's pain. So the office team rushes to get my father in a chair and Dr Pham is still working on another patient. Again, we were waiting until 4:30 for Dr Pham to even start. Although the procedure was ok, THEY ARE CROODS. As soon as I got there they said I needed XRays. That is fine. They also said they would do a CT Scan. They NEVER told me it wasn't necessary nor that it would not be covered by insurance. They didn't review the cost until after they did the scan. The cost for just that alone was $750. I have amazing insurance so I was surprised at the total bill. When I questioned the bill (after they already did the scan). They told me just to take a picture of the bill and deal with insurance. When I called back to get the codes for insurance, they never returned my call. DO NOT GO TO THEM. They do not explain anything and charge you for unnecessary things. Just like other reviewers, I felt rushed to pay and get procedure done. I understand that I should not have signed anything without understanding what I signed, but I was in severe pain and never thought they would do a scan of that cost without informing me about the high cost. Today I visit this place and the service was horrible . I have MetLife and I called my insurance to make sure it was cover root canal . When I get there they I had the referral from my dentist and I remember 2 years ago I had a root canal they just charged me $400 for a 360 XRays which is not cover by insurance but they never disclosed it til I was told I needed to pay it . So this time I said I don't want to do that . They wanted to do it immediately the moment I got there . They I asked to speak with manager and the employee came back to tell me the manager said there is no option they need to do the 360 X-ray and didn't want to even come to talk to me . So I said I'm done here I don't want to do it got up and then the manager Nadia took me To the office to explained why they needed to do the xray . I said no I don't want to pay that fee so she even said she would give me the same fee as I paid last time since now their prices went up . I said nope . She was being so pushy I said nope and walk out . She tried to lied saying the consultation is free and if they can't do the treatment they won't charge me for the xray fee I said can you give me this in writing . She said no I can't . How do I know she's not lying .. I just didn't like her attitude toward me .. bad service and shady !!!!!! Please read below if you are considering using their service. I went there for a root canal referred by my dentist. During the procedure, I felt a burning sensation in my mouth and thought I could taste "bleach," so I raised my hand to let the dentist know about this problem. The nurse used some water to wash off, dilute the "chemical," and continue the procedure. In the following days, the burn got more severe; then now affected area included not just the inside of my mouth but my tongue and throat. I texted the endodontist, the one who worked on my root canal and he prescribed me some medicine. Later I looked online and discovered that using sodium hypochlorite is common in root canal procedures, but it is not supposed to leak; in my case, I believe the chemical must have leaked inside my mouth. So that night, I email them and file a complaint about dental malpractice. The company called me five times the next day at 6:45 am and asked me to go back to their clinic and have a check-up by another endodontist. During this checkup, He told me there are injuries in my mouth; he knew it hurt, but it will go away in a week, so there is nothing to worry about. Upon asking if he knew what had happened to me during the procedure, he explained that he couldn't tell exactly what happened since he hadn't talked to the endodontists who treated me and was just here to help see my injuries. What kind of customer service is that? Is there no internal communication or assessment before asking a patient to come in for a second checkup? I went to urgent care that night due to the continued severe pain ... I can't even eat and drink without the pain-release medicine anymore. The Urgent care doctor told me this was quite serious and probably should expect such pain to continue for several more weeks. I emailed the company again and asked them to evaluate everything, talk to the dentist and nurse involved and give me a proper reply on what exactly happened during the root canal procedure that caused this pain. ( I have had multiple root canals done at other places and this never happened!) But until now, three days later, I still haven't gotten any written email reply from them. I felt that they were being dismissive of me and my injuries. If you don't want to get a chemical burn, don't want to deal with poor customer service, please don't go!!!!!!!! read more

Man root canal surgery sounds painful... I had to do two and I must say it wasn't thaaaaaaattttt baaaaaaaaaaddddd. I was referred here by my dentist in San Gabriel who told me I should go see a dentist who specializes in endodontist. I came in twice to see Dr. Pak and he was my point of contact when it came to surgeries. The person who always answered my phone calls is Nadia who always makes sure I got what I needed. I had major pain in my tooth on a Tuesday and the person who immediately picked up was Nadia who immediately recognized me after not being there for a year. I explained to her what had happened and the one thing she said was "let me know what I can do to help you because I want to help". Of course this is such a great sign. She gave me the earlier appointment on a possibly busy Tuesday and she helped me make sure I was able to make the appointment! I came in not long after the call and she greeted me and asked again what she can do to help me. I explained to her the same thing and she immediately help get me into a dental space. Came in and was greeted by Dr. Pak who recognized me and helped me with the procedure. By the way the dental assistants were definitely awesome too. The procedure took a long minute but Dr. Pak wanted to make everything that was in that tooth was gone and that I could continue with my regular duties. I did not feel pain during and after the procedure. To be honest I just felt sore the next day which I believe is normal! Overall, definitely like this place! Very clean and they make sure that it is Covid compliant. The staff especially Nadia and Dr. Pak made sure that what I had to go through was fixed and that they made sure I was happy before I left.
