I highly recommend Brian and Rooter Champion for general plumbing work/repair needs for your home…read more And most importantly for complex work. He and his team did a full main line replacement that could not be replaced by traditional digging due to hard to cut pine roots. They instead did a trenchless replacement of the main. All of the team was very professional and worked as fast as possible to have it all done in just a few days. They did not have to break any concrete and there was zero damage to any landscaping etc. Brian and his team truly value clients as they've done several trips at no costs or obligation at a different home of of mine. I highly recommend their services and advice! Lastly, Rooter champion was the most competitive among 2 other bids and they still worked with me on final costs. There was no price creep or any other kind of hiding costs. Thanks Brian and team!

3 phone calls: #1: Hi…read moredo you cover Irvine? Yes I have 2 toilets that aren't flushing. Sounds like the main sweat line is going to need to be snaked! How much? $225 Ok... my downstairs seems fine. Oh... these are upstairs? In that case it's not as serious. We can probably just snake the toilets. #2 (with technician) All done sir What did you do? We took the toilet off and snaked the drain and then put it back. Ok both of them? No the other one seems fine. You are already there, how much extra to snake that and two bathtubs? $125 for each drain How much is today's total? $225. Ok I'll pass on the other drains Ok #3 (after going back to the Yelp profile and confirming that they charge $55 to scope and snake a drain) Hi how much to scope and snake a drain? $55 Are there any hidden fees? No sir Well you guys did the work already and charged me $225? Where do you live? Irvine Oh that's why I'm confused you just said there no hidden fees? It's $55 if you are within 5 miles of our office. We cover up to Anaheim. Further than that we have a minimum of $225. Ok thank you ......someone needs to tell them what hidden fees means. Also if I've already paid the minimum of $225, why aren't the additional drains $55 each? By the way the other toilet upstairs is not flushing now so I still have to call another plumber to come out now.

I called Mitch Clemmons Plumbing on a Friday afternoon with an urgent situation -- a washing…read moremachine at my parents' home that wouldn't stop filling. Devin was able to squeeze me in the same day, which I really appreciated given the circumstances. Within a couple of hours, Fabian arrived right on time within the promised window. He quickly diagnosed the washing machine issue, and what impressed me most was how attentive and flexible he was once he was on-site. I also mentioned a longstanding problem we'd been dealing with -- a shower that had been causing water to leak onto the concrete slab in the garage -- and he tackled that too. Fabian expertly diagnosed the source and cause of the leak. He even noticed the toilet was running and took care of that for us too. As he worked through the job and discovered new wrinkles along the way, Fabian was transparent about each one, checking in to make sure I was comfortable before proceeding. That kind of communication goes a long way. He worked efficiently, was professional and courteous throughout, and left the workspace clean when he was done. Pricing was fair and clearly explained -- and importantly, there was zero pressure to go for a bigger fix than what we actually needed. That kind of customer-first focus genuinely earns trust. From the initial phone call with Devin to Fabian wrapping up the job, the entire experience was excellent. Thank you!

In February of this year Mitch Clemmons had helped us with a partial clog in our second floor…read moretoilet. During this call out they were very professional and conscientious. That was a great experience. However, it would seem that their auger had punched through an admittedly corroded drain pipe which passed through our garage. The hole was punched through the top of the pipe so it wasn't actively leaking which meant I didn't really notice it until months later. I had called them back out to have a look and while I didn't expect them to pay for the damage outright because corroded pipes are just going to be fragile, I was hoping they would at least account for their part in the damage and lack of accounting for pipe condition considerations. However, the tech flat out rejected the possibility that his auger could have caused the damage. I asked him what could possibly cause the pipe material to break outwards, leave one big streak of leaking on the wall, and then never leak again. His response was just corrosion. I am not one to hold unfortunate turns of events on service providers, but the outright denial of responsibility is something I felt the need to say something about. They are professional, but if they damage something don't expect any accountability. Edit: I added a photo to show the length of pipe they claim could not be reached by the auger in their response. The depth of the floor and toilet plus the pipe would seem right around 6 feet. I invited them to unroll the auger and see how far it reached and they said they would charge me to do that! Really, you'd think you'd be itching to roll that out if it could prove beyond a doubt it didn't cause it by coming up way short, right? Ridiculous.
