Vic communicated well with scheduling, gave clear expectations of the scope of the work, and was respectful of our home and our time. He gave us several options for how to proceed, and we are very happy with the work performed. Work well done and peace of mind, A+!

Thank you Rooter Doc for the amazing service. Vic came to my house because I assumed my water heater was giving out on me. I was already overwhelmed thinking how much it's going to cost me. Let me tell you I had a huge relief when Vic told me the problem. A simple fix took him about 30 min. He explained to me the issue and what the next steps I should consider to maintain my water heater. I am glad I came across this great company and staff. I will use them for any future maintains and repairs. Thanks again Vic.

New pressure regulator install
Brady G.

Called for a water heater fix, which was quick and affordable. Did a thorough job and identified a secondary leak issue in water heater due to massive overpressure in main line, and offered to install a new pressure regulation system to prevent further damage and resolve the leak, which was also quick, affordable and well done. Highly recommend.

These are the Aquasana filters that needed replacing in my under sink reverse osmosis Aquasana water filtration system.

I requested estimates from several plumbers, and A-Team Plumbing Services stood out by offering to clear the blockage for a flat $49. Thinking this would be a relatively simple drain-clearing job, I scheduled them to come out that morning. Giulio arrived right on time and attempted to snake the tub drain, but unfortunately the blockage wouldn't clear. He then asked whether we had a cleanout somewhere on the property. We weren't aware of one, so he went underneath the house to investigate the plumbing. What he found was quite a bit more complicated than a simple clog. There was a cracked pipe, aging cast iron, improperly installed and graded ABS, and poorly sealed joints. Essentially, our drainage system was a "Frankenstein" assembly of old and new plumbing that had been pieced together over many decades. While it was still technically functioning, it was clear that we were eventually going to have a much more serious--and potentially much more expensive--problem. The team also brought in a camera to inspect portions of the system, and during that process they discovered a deceased rat inside one of the pipes. Not exactly what you hope to find under your house, but it was another indication of just how much had accumulated and gone wrong with the old system over the years. We ultimately decided to have A-Team install a bullhorn cleanout along the side of the house, which required jackhammering through the concrete. This gives us much better access to the drainage system for future maintenance. Robert, the owner, then came out personally to evaluate the remainder of the system and provide an estimate. Although the larger project was certainly not inexpensive, Robert's proposal made sense: replace the old, mismatched plumbing with a completely new, uniform, properly installed drainage system serving both bathrooms, the kitchen, and the laundry area. We decided it made more sense to address the underlying problems now rather than wait for a major failure later. The work took about five days overall, with roughly three days devoted to re-piping everything under the house. The A-Team crew was extremely professional, courteous, and thoughtful about working in and around our home. They clearly took care with the work and with our property. Robert also offered, at no additional charge, to install a recessed box in the laundry area that would better contain the hot and cold water connections for the washing machine. We ultimately declined because doing so would have required moving the machines and cutting into the wall--and, frankly, we already had enough going on with the plumbing project! Still, we appreciated the offer and the fact that he was thinking about ways to improve the finished installation. Robert's sons, Stevie and Benjamin, helped manage portions of the project from the main office and were very responsive to our questions and text messages throughout the process. We're very happy with the finished result. We now have a completely new and properly installed drainage system rather than continuing to rely on a collection of aging and poorly configured pipes. The project also includes a 10-year parts-and-labor warranty and a two-year clog-free warranty, which gives us considerable peace of mind. What began as a $49 attempt to clear a clogged bathtub turned into a much larger plumbing project, but we're ultimately glad we called A-Team. Giulio's willingness to investigate the underlying problem rather than simply clear the immediate symptom was what led us to discover the condition of the existing system in the first place. We're pleased with the work and would recommend A-Team Plumbing Services to others.

They were incredibly diligent and thorough, explained everything clearly, tested everything carefully, and stayed late to make sure the job was finished properly so I wouldn't be left without water. The price was also very fair for how much work they did. My husband was out of town, and as a woman alone in the house, I felt completely safe and comfortable with the entire crew. They were kind, respectful, hardworking, and considerate of our home. After having such a great experience (they also worked on our gas line previously), I would absolutely trust them again and recommend them without hesitation.

John was professional from start to finish. He also took the time to clean up after the job, removing debris and leaving the area spotless. Overall, it was an excellent service experience.

1-Star Review -- Bear Plumbing, North Hollywood, CA…read more Questionable Diagnosis, Poor Customer Service, and a Complete Lack of Accountability I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Bear Plumbing and would strongly caution other homeowners against using their services, particularly when dealing with home warranty claims. American Home Shield dispatched Bear Plumbing to diagnose an ongoing issue with our home's sewage sump pump system. Following their visit, Bear Plumbing concluded that the system was malfunctioning due to an obstruction caused by baby wipes. Based on their assessment, American Home Shield denied our warranty claim. Here's where I have a serious problem with their diagnosis. Our sump pump tank is buried underground and requires considerable excavation to access and properly inspect. Based on what I observed during their visit, I am confident the technician never performed the necessary work to access the tank's interior. Rather than accept their findings, I personally excavated the area, exposed the tank, removed the lid, and inspected the system myself. I found absolutely no baby wipes or other obstructions. In fact, the pump operates and successfully evacuates the tank. The actual malfunction appears to be an electrical or control-system issue preventing the pump from automatically shutting off when the tank is empty. We have since gotten the system operating again and arranged for another company to evaluate the electrical components. This raises a legitimate question: How did Bear Plumbing confidently diagnose an obstruction without what I believe was an adequate inspection, especially when my subsequent findings directly contradicted their assessment? Adding to my frustration, American Home Shield indicated that Bear Plumbing submitted photographs supporting its diagnosis. However, when we requested to review those photographs, American Home Shield refused to provide them. I cannot verify what those photographs depict or whether they substantiate the alleged obstruction. If photographic evidence was used to deny our warranty claim, why shouldn't the homeowner have an opportunity to review it? Unfortunately, Bear Plumbing's customer service has been just as disappointing as its diagnosis. I have contacted the company repeatedly, respectfully requesting to speak with a supervisor, manager, or owner. My intention was never to be confrontational. I simply wanted someone to review the circumstances, explain the original findings, and have an opportunity to correct what I believe was an improper assessment. Instead, I have received nothing but the runaround. I was assured that management would be notified and someone would return my call. That never happened. When I followed up two days later, I was told the individual responsible for addressing my concerns had called out sick. At what point does a company take responsibility for its work and its customers? Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, a reputable company should be willing to acknowledge concerns, explain its findings, and make a reasonable effort to resolve disputes. What frustrates me most is that I made every effort to handle this privately and respectfully before writing this review. Unfortunately, Bear Plumbing has demonstrated little willingness to address my concerns. This isn't simply about a potentially incorrect diagnosis. It's about an assessment that resulted in denied warranty coverage, a lack of transparency surrounding the alleged evidence, and a company that has repeatedly failed to provide meaningful customer service or accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bear Plumbing. I strongly encourage anyone considering their services to request detailed documentation and seek a second opinion before accepting a diagnosis that could leave them financially responsible for repairs. Homeowners deserve thorough inspections, accurate assessments, transparency, and accountability. Unfortunately, Bear Plumbing has fallen significantly short of those expectations. One star. I would not use their services again.

I also asked him to check and clean my outdoor drainage line since my dogs often use it as their bathroom; he honestly let me know it didn't need servicing, no upselling at all. The price was incredibly fair and probably lower than most. During the installation of the flange, the one I bought was too short for my deep sink setup. Steve drove 28 miles round trip, on a Friday's traffic in LA, to a specialty plumbing supply store to source the exact part needed to finish the job perfectly; no additional charges. To top it all off, he left my under sink cabinet cleaner and neater than it was before starting.
