(That is called a blessing in disguise!) When looking at the menu we didn't recognize any of the wines and we asked what they had close enough to a Cabernet that was very smooth - without a bite. For the first time in our lives we tried to Croatian red which is absolutely delicious!!! The chef made a charcuterie board (yummies from all local areas and farms) and the fact that it pleased my husband speaks volumes. (He is not a charcuterie man.) Yet He loved every item on the board as well as the Croatian wine. We Highly recommend this little gem of a place --it's small, intimate, cozy and when you look around filled with tons of history! The owners are incredible, warm and inviting, and the other staff are really engaging and knowledgable about the selections. You can walk in with a slight idea of what you like in a wine and they'll help you find one that's just right for you. Free wine tastings every third Thursday is the month and other fun events and themes from time to time. I'd say this is a great spot to do some work (intentionally placed outlets for laptops!!!), relax and read a book, catch up with friends, celebrate an occasion, or just kill time while figuring out what to do with the rest of your day (as we're doing now).
