I jumped on my trusty Yelp app and used the request a quote option. Within MINUTES I had a response, and within the hour he set up a time to come out and check it out the next morning. An aside: the Yelp request a quote app was EASY! I could even upload pics. When the gentleman came out to quote me he was as kind as could be. Mask, distance, the whole bit. Perfect. He gave me a reasonable quote, and told me that he could come out within a couple of days - providing an exact time and stating that he would call me if his job before mine ended sooner. The communication was great the whole time. We spoke mid weekend and the day before he cameout. When I asked him what payment he preferred, I was provided viable options (including Zele). He came in the morning in the timeframe stated (between 9:30 and 10:30 AM) and the job took about 4 hours. When they arrived my partner asked for them to remove 2 more bushes, and they agreed for just a little more (and not a complaint!). I am very pleased with the outcome. They were careful around the infrastructure, sprinkler lines and the plants that I did want to keep. I cannot say enough for the kindness they exhibited, and how happy I am with the excavation job. A crew of 10 with 3 trucks, chipper, 2 fork lifts, equipment and a flat bed trailer came to complete the job and clean up. All limbs were removed carefully using ropes to bring them down. My artificial turf was protected as plywood sheets were used when the fork lifts retrieved downed limbs. My debris filled up two trucks. Hernandez Tree Experts cleaned up using blowers and left my front yard spotless. The job was completed in just over 3 hours. Cost was four-figures but was less than competitive estimates.
