I've been craving a man apple carrot juice so I hopped on my Yelp app and searched near me and Root 2 Rise showed up. It's so weird that this place is right down the strip from Le croissant. How perfect is it that you can be bad and indulgent at Le Croissant and then pop in to Rott to Rise and heat a healthy juice? Balance. I stumbled upon this spot after picking up croissants from the neighbor, Le Croissant. I had an hour between meetings and was craving something healthy. I saw that Root 2 Rise had great Yelp reviews, so I stopped in. They had cute tables outside, a beautifully-tiled counter inside, and lots of artsy, eclectic seating and tables throughout the indoor space. As someone who works from home, I quickly pegged it as a perfect spot to work from. The employees immediately greeted me too, so it all-around felt like a win. Their menus include smoothies, juices, a soup of the day, and a small fridge full of mini to-go meals. I got the anti-inflammatory juice: celery, kale, apple, pineapple, ginger, and lemon. It tasted great and felt good for the body. I was also thrilled to see a small spinach salad with chicken salad and walnuts on top in the fridge. It was a little bowl and so delicious. It's so rare to find a healthy, quick option like that. They also had a few burritos and sandwiches to choose from too. I easily connected to their wifi and got some work done while I enjoyed the food and juice. Such a perfect find. Only things I'd add to this spot would be a hook in the bathroom so you don't have to set your purse or backpack on the floor, as well as a recycling option, since I had to toss my juice and food containers, even though I enjoyed both in-person. read more

It was over $28 for two bowls, which is sticker shock honestly, and the blueberry sorbet was lighter in color than normal and tasted watered down and weak or like it had freezer burn. The atmosphere is very zen and relaxing with greenery, wood and calming music and scents without being like you just walked into an essential oil haven. The staff was super friendly and answered our multiple questions with a smile. My friend had an allergy juice which is made fresh on a counter in front of you. I choose the special of a pumpkin pie smoothie. Yum!! It was very smooth and tasted like a piece of pumpkin pie in a cup. It wasn't very sweet but more tangy with the allspice and nutmeg but the server said we could adjust it with honey or whatever depending on my tastes. Had some time before an appointment so I went on the hunt for a smoothie. Very happy to find this gem instead of going to a chain. I got the brain booster smoothie with protein added to it. It's amazing! They have lots of smoothie and juice options along with açaí bowls and a coffee bar. Lots of space inside to stay socially distanced. Plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall. I love a good juice and smoothie bar but usually have to go downtown Indy to find one. So happy this awesome store is located in Greenwood right off 65. I visited shortly after recovering from the stomach flu. I wasn't sure what I should order that would be easy on my stomach. The sweet and knowledgeable staff member recommended the beet-le-juice with beets, lemon, turmeric, green apple, and suggested adding in the coconut water as a light sweetener. I really enjoyed although I am not a beet person. After 2 or 3 sips you can't even taste the earthy beet flavor anymore. I can't wait to go back to try more juices, smoothies, and even take one of their wellness classes. The yoga classes look fun. They also serve tea, acai bowls, and soup. Not only that, but the employees were giving me and my friend strange looks, possibly for wearing masks. The service was okay, but they were not very helpful. I've had the beet latte and it was good when it was made properly. Recently when I had it , the person who made it watered it down so much that it did not taste good. I decided to give them another try, but this time the beet juice was probably a drop, could not taste the beet juice at all, and the latte was not hot at all(lukewarm at best). They do an amazing job at cold press juices and smoothies. They owner and employees have been polite and courteous when I have been there, but I will have to stop going. When I ordered and went for their curbside pickup yesterday none of the employees were using PPE. The lady that was doing the curbside had no gloves or mask on and was going from vehicle to vehicle holding cards and drinks. She didn't even washing her hands in between trips out.
