I've been craving a man apple carrot juice so I hopped on my Yelp app and searched near me and Root 2 Rise showed up. It's so weird that this place is right down the strip from Le croissant. How perfect is it that you can be bad and indulgent at Le Croissant and then pop in to Rott to Rise and heat a healthy juice? Balance. But it's super cute on the inside and whispers, "come sit on the comfy couch and read a book." You can even borrow a book off of the bookshelf! Love this super cute cafe! I will be coming back. read more

Root 2 Rise - Acai Bowl - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Greenwood, Indiana

I stumbled upon this spot after picking up croissants from the neighbor, Le Croissant. I had an hour between meetings and was craving something healthy. I saw that Root 2 Rise had great Yelp reviews, so I stopped in. They had cute tables outside, a beautifully-tiled counter inside, and lots of artsy, eclectic seating and tables throughout the indoor space. As someone who works from home, I quickly pegged it as a perfect spot to work from. The employees immediately greeted me too, so it all-around felt like a win. Their menus include smoothies, juices, a soup of the day, and a small fridge full of mini to-go meals. I got the anti-inflammatory juice: celery, kale, apple, pineapple, ginger, and lemon. It tasted great and felt good for the body. I was also thrilled to see a small spinach salad with chicken salad and walnuts on top in the fridge. It was a little bowl and so delicious. It's so rare to find a healthy, quick option like that. They also had a few burritos and sandwiches to choose from too. I easily connected to their wifi and got some work done while I enjoyed the food and juice. Such a perfect find. Only things I'd add to this spot would be a hook in the bathroom so you don't have to set your purse or backpack on the floor, as well as a recycling option, since I had to toss my juice and food containers, even though I enjoyed both in-person. read more

I always really enjoy this place. It's a treat to myself as the rest of the family doesn't care for acai as much as I do. I grabbed a cappuccino and acai bowl when I took a half day to burn some PTO. The staff is always friendly and made a super cappuccino. The acai bowl was good, but not as good as I remember. I feel like they've changed the acai a bit as it wasn't as thick and lush.. it was much more mushy/runny than the last time. Still had decent flavor, but not as flavorful as it once was. Overall, a good experience but tbd until I go back. read more

Root2Rise in Greenwood, Indiana, is conveniently located near County Line Road and I-65. The interior is warm and inviting, and the aesthetics provide a comfortable feel. The menu features several juices, smoothies, and many coffee options. I've only tried a juice drink thus far, but I am looking forward to trying a smoothie next time. I especially like that the juices are made from locally sourced ingredients and prepared upon ordering. The staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly and made our visit enjoyable. This is a great place to stop in and grab a juice or stay awhile at their cute store! I stopped by looking for a place to work on a paper and have a juice, and a large table with an outlet right next to it was open, so that was perfect. The environment was great for getting work done. The juice was really refreshing (every one that I've tried there has been great too!!). The place is really spacious, with quite a few tables and couches. Also, as a bonus--it's right next to a great bakery!! read more

The first time I went to this place, I was impressed but it's gone downhill. I went back and ordered a latte breve- the employee didn't know what that was. I knew that wasn't a good sign. I ordered an espresso for my guy and both of our drinks just tasted like milk. I went back again on a different occasion and got açaí bowls for my daughter and myself. It was over $28 for two bowls, which is sticker shock honestly, and the blueberry sorbet was lighter in color than normal and tasted watered down and weak or like it had freezer burn. I appreciate the efforts of this place - I like the merch and availability of juices, but I don't plan on going back. read more

Tucked in between ethnic restaurants and nail salons this healthy juice/yoga spot is a jem! The options are smoothies, juices, a few lunch items and some bowls. The atmosphere is very zen and relaxing with greenery, wood and calming music and scents without being like you just walked into an essential oil haven. The staff was super friendly and answered our multiple questions with a smile. My friend had an allergy juice which is made fresh on a counter in front of you. I choose the special of a pumpkin pie smoothie. Yum!! It was very smooth and tasted like a piece of pumpkin pie in a cup. It wasn't very sweet but more tangy with the allspice and nutmeg but the server said we could adjust it with honey or whatever depending on my tastes. I loved having this option for a healthy pick me up while out and about on the Southside. It is worth trying! read more

Had some time before an appointment so I went on the hunt for a smoothie. Very happy to find this gem instead of going to a chain. I got the brain booster smoothie with protein added to it. It's amazing! They have lots of smoothie and juice options along with açaí bowls and a coffee bar. Lots of space inside to stay socially distanced. Plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall. It's a little pricey but worth supporting local when I can. I'll definitely make this a common stop when I'm in the area! read more

Five stars for the taste and consistency of the smoothies we ordered. Five stars for the friendly staff. Four stars for the prices. I'm not usually one to complain about prices in a review because I figure if you know the price beforehand and go ahead and order, it is basically conscious acceptance of the prices. However, this place does not list the prices and I just thought 'well, how much can it possibly be for two smoothies?' Just under $20 for two smoothies is how much it can be and is. They are doing a great job here and I understand the rent probably accounts in part for the high prices...but this place is kinda big for a smoothie bar and there was only one other customer there. Perhaps a smaller space could accommodate lower prices?? read more

Delicious smoothies and coffee! I love that you can place a carry out order and easily pick it up without waiting.

I LOVE the strawberry sunrise smoothie bowl. I could eat it every single day without hesitation. My co-workers and I love every opportunity to order Root to Rise. Root 2 Rise - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Greenwood, Indiana

I love a good juice and smoothie bar but usually have to go downtown Indy to find one. So happy this awesome store is located in Greenwood right off 65. I visited shortly after recovering from the stomach flu. I wasn't sure what I should order that would be easy on my stomach. The sweet and knowledgeable staff member recommended the beet-le-juice with beets, lemon, turmeric, green apple, and suggested adding in the coconut water as a light sweetener. I really enjoyed although I am not a beet person. After 2 or 3 sips you can't even taste the earthy beet flavor anymore. I can't wait to go back to try more juices, smoothies, and even take one of their wellness classes. The yoga classes look fun. They also serve tea, acai bowls, and soup. Be sure to stop by and check out their daily specials. read more

Root 2 Rise is not a safe cafe considering COVID-19. I walked in with my friend (wearing masks), and looked around and nobody was wearing a mask--including staff. Not only that, but the employees were giving me and my friend strange looks, possibly for wearing masks. The service was okay, but they were not very helpful. Not enforcing social distancing/masks is a no-go, especially in the middle of a pandemic. read more

Probably won't be going back. No one was wearing a mask, including employees making drinks.

I typically purchase Acai Bowls and they are always delicious! Today, I ordered a strawberry bowl, with bananas, chia seeds, blueberries, peanut butter, granola & honey. It was still delicious!!! First of all, they have combined with Brickhouse Coffee and roast their own beans, which is a winner in my book already. I tried three things: coffee, bowl, and juice, and loved all three, so these two businesses are a match made in heaven. My husband had the Dark Mocha, and he raved about it. I had the Café Miel. Yum. My daughter got the Collagen Booster juice minus the OJ (apple, carrot, lemon, ginger). Lastly, I had the chocolate-covered strawberry bowl (granola, almond butter, honey, cacao, strawberry, banana, chia seeds. Everything was excellent. The espresso is rich and smooth. The service was speedy and friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We will return. My only regret is the fact that I got a small coffee. read more

I've had the beet latte and it was good when it was made properly. Recently when I had it , the person who made it watered it down so much that it did not taste good. I decided to give them another try, but this time the beet juice was probably a drop, could not taste the beet juice at all, and the latte was not hot at all(lukewarm at best). They need to learn how to make their 7$$ lattes properly. read more

I've only been once but that's because of quarantine but I will definitely be back there on a regular basis once it's safe to be out and about again. I had their peanut butter and banana smoothie in a bowl and it was soooooo good ! The best part is you're supporting local ! FINALLY a juice bar on the south side!! And this is a good one. High quality ingredients--their juice is amazing! I visited around 5pm on a Thursday. I was greeted immediately and the woman I talked to was incredibly knowledgeable. She gave me a good run down of the menu and told me the popular juices. I decided on the collagen booster. I wanted a small, but she made too much so she gave me the bigger size, which I ended up being very grateful for! I drank it so quick. It was really good! This business is completely irresponsible. If they cannot do the bare minimum during a global pandemic and wear masks then they should not be allowed to operate.
