Darling and homey coffee shop in downtown Pullman. Delish latte with housemade almond milk. Ambiance was perfect, as was the service. Highly recommend to people looking for cozy and friendly place to hang out. We will certainly be back soon! read more

Friendly service and awesome coffee. Great gluten free options too! The renovation really opened up the space and I'm thankful for a local coffee shop that consistently exceeds my expectations. read more

The coffee is good, the ambience is great, but most importantly, the food is amazing. The ham and cheese biscuit was so good and the citrus cinnamon bun was the best I've ever had! It was perfect. Definitely recommend! read more

A great spot for studying, a coffee date, or catching a quick bite. Roost is pretty small and cozy, but I haven't had trouble finding a table. The coffee is fantastic, with an awesome pastry and savory item selection. I can personally vouch for the quiches, strawberry cream cheese bread, and chocolate chip cookie, though I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with anything!! If you're looking for a place to study, music is great here and outlets are plentiful. Would recommend! read more

Roost is the best coffee shop in Pullman. Great atmosphere and even better pastries and coffee!

Favorite coffee spot in Pullman, amazing pastries and baked goods. Coffee is excellent as well with unique, homemade syrups

Love the coffee. Staff is nice and listened closely to my order. Delicious pastries. Stopped on a whim and was not disappointed.

LOVE this place. It's a great place to have around. Love their baked goods in general. Coffee is great as well. Have not tried other stuff there. read more

This is very European feeling. The baristas are friendly and know quite a bit about coffee. The pastries and delightful especially the chocolate croissants. Small place but that adds to the charm. read more

LOVE this place. Coffee is great and the staff is just fantastic. So friendly and they always shower my dog with pets and treats (so naturally it's his favorite place to go!). Great location near lots of walking trails and parks too. read more

My favorite coffee place in Pullman. The best part about this place is the upper balcony. The scenery up there and the sunshine you get in the summer make it an ideal place to catch some rays and get quality work done. The chocolate chip cookie with the sea salt are my personal favorite. read more

Love this place! My first time trying their coffee was when WSU ACADA had them cater our coffee and breakfast. IT WAS DELICIOUS and I've been hooked since. So hint hint, they cater! When I walk in, I usually get a Cubano flavored latte, caramel or vanilla depending on my mood, and a scone or salad. I absolutey love the savory scones (ham and cheese) and their chickpea salad! If you are a coffee lover like me you'll add this to the weekly or maybe even daily routine! read more

Best coffee place in town!! Cozy ambience, great staff, and super delicious food and coffee. You can tell their food is all made in-house and includes plenty of yummy options for people who prefer savory and/healthful breakfasts. read more

Thank u for making my birthday cake special;) y'all the best very delicious was just how I imagine it. Happy New Years

Not very impressed. I went here after some really great yelp reviews. The barista was a rude and made unneeded comments under her breath about either myself or one of the other customers. I do not think I will be coming here again. Coffee wasn't the greatest either. read more

All future trips to the Palouse will include at least one stop at Roost. I just enjoyed a very flavorful baked egg and veggie dish which proved much larger than it appeared -- likely in part because it followed a warmed cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll. Typically cinnamon rolls are a food neutral for me. I am just as happy passing one up. This, however, may have been the best I've tried, and one of the only ones I've completely polished. It was soft without being gooey, and it had a very slight salty hint that tempered the sweetness perfectly. The cream cheese frosting was generous without being copious and the frosting tasted like my mom's cream cheese frosting! My latte was very good and typically I love a coffee place for its coffee beverages far more than for the food menu. But I would absolutely come back just for the food. Service was friendly and the wifi has worked great. read more

Love the staff, the drinks, and the atmosphere. I have an espresso machine at home and got their espresso blend. It's some of the best coffee I've ever put in the grinder! They also serve machiatos traditionally instead of adapting to the retarded Starbucks version (which such shops will never see my face again). Also every once in awhile yourll see foods from swillys in the baked goods cabinet which is awesome. read more

Excellent coffee shop that offers everything a shop engrossed in true coffee shop culture could offer. 1. They make their food and pastries and they happen to taste amazingly delicious--I think it's family owned as evidenced by a family sharing resemblance always tending to their place of business--I like that, they care and it's obvious. 2. Cold brew they serve is amazing. The tea is meh, but the coffee products make up for what is lacking in their tea offerings. 3. Vibes are sexy, rustic, northwest kind of vibes. I've been my most productive at Roost and I appreciate the atmosphere created by the staff who happen to really care about their jobs and also know how to real social cues in that they aren't in your space too much, but are the right amount of friendly. I mean, who really wants to chat about meaningless small talk when I could be sipping my cold brew and eating my homemade biscuit.... That they will warm for you if you wish. 4. It's the best coffee shop Pullman can offer for the quality of products, location, vibe AND I can't forget... Their CONSISTENT INTERNET.... That one is really important.... Go to roost and even check out the restaurant next door, definitely the best of Pullman. read more

My favorite coffee shop where there's always at least a dozen delicious homemade baked goods, sandwiches, quiches, and salads. I love their beans and top-notch friendly service! read more

Absolutely the best selection of house made pastries! Love that they also make their own chai mix and almond milk. Unfortunately I found the cold brew too bitter but perhaps that's a trait of cold brews that I didn't know about. Definitely get there early for lunch, they sell out of their great sandwiches often! read more

This is a very cute coffee shop/cafe! I traveled here from New York City and Roost reminds me of some of my favorite artisanal coffee shops there. The lavender latte was very unique and unexpected, but I loved the subtle flavor. I also got the caprese sandwich which was delicious and perfectly portioned! There is also free wifi here. read more

By far the best coffee shop in Pullman. They feature quality coffee roasters and a damn impressive assortment of baked goods, pastries, sandwiches and quick lunches. Staff is friendly, ambiance is cozy and rustic. read more

Too small to ever get seating, unless it's a nice day and are able to sit outside! Coffee is good though and, the homemade syrups are delicious. Favorite is iced earl grey tea with lavender syrup! read more

What is not to love about this place?! Local honey, chai, coffee and more. Love the atmosphere and decor. Great service. Adorable and affordable kitchen accessories. read more

Outstanding Orange Mocha made with homemade orange syrup. Coconut cream pie I had yesterday was to die for with a layer of dark chocolate on the crust. Today my coconut scone had a topping a delicious lemon curd. Service was perfect on both visits with two different employees. Outside patio is great for relaxing and watching the world go by. Highly recommended. read more

This is a wonderful place with incredibly nice staff and absolutely delicious food and great coffee. Seriously, all the ingredients are of high quality. I have to get my latte there every morning or my day is not right. It has lovely decoration and even though the space is small, it is so welcoming that it just doesn't matter. This coffee place is the only thing that makes my graduation and moving from Pullman a sad thing. I'm not sure how will I live without those biscuits with strawberry house jam... read more

Best latte I've ever had! Even though they were very busy, they took their time with my order and ensured I received everything promptly! The staff was very friendly and the shop was super cozy (especially all the plants). They even turned on their porch heater and provided blankets for the chilly weather! I loved the shop because it was comfortable, tidy and unique. read more

Best coffee in town, best bakery in town, and a really hip but cozy feel. I envy their plants every time I'm in there ;)

Great coffee, but the baked goods are next level! Try anything here and you won't be disappointed!

What a great place for lunch! I'm staying in Pullman for a couple of weeks and always looking for a great coffee shop, nice place to sit, central to other things... This place was a perfect fit. I'm from Seattle and am a daily coffee drinker. I prefer smaller coffee shops than the larger world wide ones, as I enjoy supporting the locals and more times than not, they put more effort into the quality of their roast and overall experience at their establishment. I enjoyed a 16oz dark coffee of the day and a ham sandwich with additional herbs and cheeses added, to make it one of a kind, rather than a typical ham and cheese. I scored with this place, no doubt you'll enjoy it too. The 2 girls, I would guess College students, had great personalities and were hopping because it was busy. It's a tiny place, but sometimes those are the best. Simple, a few sandwiches and salads to choose from and of course pastries available too. :) Cheers to this wonderful small business... I hope to see you again soon! read more

Wonderful variety of breakfast foods (best baked eggs I've ever had), and delicious coffee flavors (lavender mocha!), nice location w/indoor and outdoor tables. Great little place. read more

Excellent coffee. They microwave their quiche, so avoid or take home and heat properly. The baked goods look delicious; when I heard the ding of the microwave (and felt the VERY hot plate), I knew I made the wrong food choice. Sob. At least the latte was good (smooth, light). read more

Great coffee and a fantastic selection of pastries and luncheon items!!! Don't miss it.

Love all the things about this place. Good coffee. Good treats. Nice staff. Not too far from campus, so it's easy to walk to during lunch. Will miss coming here when we leave Pullman. read more

Their lavender latte is delicious, and I always have their ham quiche which is also delicious. Great service, great staff, great atmosphere, great experience! read more

Hands down best coffee spot in Pullman. Their breakfast food is to die for! They have an assortment of goodies to choose from. The atmosphere is cute and warm. Although there is not a ton of space inside, I always manage to find a spot to sit at or take my coffee to go. A great place to study. Everyone who works there is really sweet and personable. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a great coffee! read more

Roost is simply the best. Their house made flavors are excellent as well as their pastries! I stop by for breakfast, lunch and drinks and love the atmosphere. I recommend Roost to all of my friends! read more

Out of all the coffee places in Pullman, this one is one of the best. The staff are friendly and professional, sometimes chatting up patrons and always greeting you with a smile. They once forgot my order and the man running the counter apologised profusely and gave me a card for a free drink, which wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated. The food compared to the other coffee places in Pullman are the best, specifically their quiches and ever changing display of buttery baked goods whose aroma is ever present. The only thing the other coffee places in Pullman have on roost is their later hours and they have more seating available, which isn't that important. At least, to me. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Best Bistro I've been to in the upper Northwest. The coffee, baked oatmeal, and atmosphere was wonderful.
