Hate to hear of other bad experiences but I had a wonderful experience for the first visit. Stopped by after shopping in the area. Ambiance is inviting-I could see the football games from two tv's near. A little loud but I think that's the vibe for a tap. My drinks were amazing and everything the waiter recommended was spot on. First off- almost No where will you get a half chicken and two sides worth eating for $17 bucks. Prices were actually pretty fair to me. I had the biscuits to start and those things are out of this world. I didn't even need the apple butter but it was delicious add. For my entree the chicken came out piping hot and had very good flavor and a mighty crunch. For sides had the greens and garlic mash and those greens are full of flavor! Service was pretty great! My server Hunter attended with excellence. I will return with friends! Definitely recommend.

Seasoned fried chicken, great sides: green beans, three cheese Mac-n-cheese, potatoes and gravy and gumbo collard green...don't forget biscuits. Friendly service. Attentive server. Large dining area with bright ambiance. Will definitely try again.

This is my first trip to Roost & Tap and it made for an excellent experience. We started off with the fiesta Tostadas and apple butter biscuits then for the main we had fried chicken with hot honey carrots red beans and rice and the Bird and Batter. All was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The restaurant was clean and staff very helpful and very active seeing to our needs. Can't wait for our next trip!!

Cute little place! We are travelling across country and found this on yelp. It has ample parking around the block for our truck and trailer. I had read the apple butter biscuits were a winner and they did not disappoint! My son got the wings and he said they were decent. I had the chopped salad and it was good as well. My husband got the 1/2 rotisserie chicken and said it was wonderful. Our server was very nice and the service was good. We were in and out of there in under an hour.

Fried Chicken- kinda dry and crusty not much flavor. Red Beans and Rice- yum! Greens yum!

I know this is a new place so I will give grace. Drinks from bar took as long as getting our food! Food was good but not great. Waitress was decent. Weird part- all the wait staff just hung out in the open area right behind our table.

Collard greens and hot honey carrots

Our first time here, mostly because we are still upset that Panera closed at this location a few years ago. We were seated quickly despite the restaurant being crowded. Our server was attentive to our needs as a group of six adults even with the crowd. Menu is heavily chicken biased, thus the inclusion of "Roost" in the name. They do have pork chops and catfish. Wife had the 1/2 Rotisserie chicken and it was very good. I had the bone in fried chicken and it was wonderful. Well seasoned and crunchy. The collard greens are the best restaurant greens I've had with sausage pieces from the gumbo cooked in. The hot honey carrots were not too spicy or sweet. Everyone at the table enjoyed their items and the prices were comparable to other Conway restaurants. Highly recommend getting an order of the apple butter biscuits for the table. Like eating a desert. Service was good, food was good, and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely add this into our eating out rotation.

Looking forward to when you have more 'mercy'!

So much to our delight when we happened upon Wing Station, which was boasting a large "Now Open" sign out front of a building that appeared to have recently gone an extensive renovation. A quick online search revealed one 5-star recommendation on Yelp (which I always find as suspect), but we proceeded to check out the menu and liked what we read. What initially caught my eye was "Wings" in the name of the restaurant, but Wing Station offered a much more interesting assortment of dishes for the palate. We decided to order takeout that included hot wings, fried catfish, fried okra, corn fritters, and Shrimp Hibachi with rice. Wow, what a pleasant experience! Because we ordered onsite we had to wait about 20 minutes for everything to be prepared, and we were not disappointed. Everything we got was excellent and cooked to perfection. Be sure to check out the extensive and unique menu posted on their website. Appetizers range from Cheese Sticks to Egg Rolls, and main menu items include Fried Rice, Noodles, and a variety of seafood and chicken items and plates.

I went here with some friends a couple months ago on a night that was fairly crowded (it looked…read morelike a wedding party was there) and received terrible service. I realize that wait times can be longer on crowded nights--this is not because of that. Our server, Ivy, was incredibly rude and completely ignored us. She served all the tables around us, even sitting and chatting with customers or friends numerous times, despite the restaurant being packed and tables not receiving service. My group wanted to get food and drinks. Since the restaurant was crowded and our server hadn't come to our table for around 10 minutes after we sat down, we ordered our first round of drinks at the bar. No big deal. What frustrated us was when the server completely ignored or disregarded us MULTIPLE times as we politely tried to get her attention to order food. Ivy would walk right past us when she could clearly hear us trying to get her attention, or she would just look at us and then look away, as if doing her job wasn't worth her time. My friend went up to her to ask if she could take our order, and Ivy only told her something along the lines of "not right now." After around 30-40 minutes of sitting at the table, we realized we weren't going to get food from Ivy, so we moved to another server's section. I wish I could remember our second server's name, because she came up to us within maybe 1-2 minutes to ask for our orders and was genuinely so nice to us!! We told her about how rude Ivy had been, and the server apologized and said that apparently Ivy was like that a lot. My friends and I literally did nothing that would have caused Ivy to be rude to us. Ivy just decided that she would rather sit and talk with friends while on the job instead of serving us, then treat us like dirt on her shoe when we ask for food.

Maci, our server for the afternoon, was absolutely amazing. She did an amazing job and was just such a ray of sunshine on a cloudy rainy day. We absolutely adored her. The atmosphere of the restaurant is commercial roadhouse chic. It's charming in its way. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. One nit pick was that one of the soap dispensers was empty but the other wasn't. On the bright side the rib eyes were cooked perfectly. Whether it was medium rare or just medium, they were cooked to the right temperature. Also the seasoning was done well. Nothing was over salted. Overall, for a chain restaurant, I was very impressed with both the food and especially the service.

We waited and waited, and eventually got part of our drink order - at the same time as the booth seated after us got both their entrees. Our waittress was nice; she explained that the kitchen and bar staff was all new. Eventually, we got a bit more of our drink order - still no food and my Sweet Tea was still absent. When she finally brought our food; my entree was missing the baked potato and I still had no tea. She hustled back to the kitchen and brought my tea and a Baked Potato with sour cream - my main request had been that there be no sour cream on my potato. She took it away, and finally brought my correct potato. This was the worst dining experience we have had in a year or more. We understand that new staff must be trained, but where was the manager?! We'll need to avoid this Logan's for a year or so; it took so long to get our food that we had no time for dessert.

Unfortunately, I have had a completely different experience with the attached coffee bar. The staff frequently encourages me to try the coffee, and I have now given it seven or eight chances, both while eating at the restaurant and by stopping in specifically for a drink. Almost every time, they have been out of at least one ingredient needed to make the drink I ordered. Each time, I'm told that it is unusual or given a reason why it happened, but after experiencing the same issue repeatedly, it no longer feels like an occasional problem. Even when they have been able to make my drink, the quality has been disappointing. Some drinks have tasted watery, while others have had a noticeably sour espresso taste, as though the shot was not pulled correctly. I have continued returning because I enjoy the restaurant and really wanted to give the coffee side a fair chance, but after seven or eight disappointing experiences, I cannot recommend it for coffee. I hope they are able to improve the consistency and keep the necessary ingredients stocked because the restaurant itself has so much potential. :(
