Eve was our salesperson and she was very helpful in finding the perfect mattress for my grandmother! However, after the decision was made on which mattress to purchase she and the company (there is no way she could do this on her own with out repercussions nor the knowledge of leadership) decided to try and fraudulently deliver a mattress that was not only less in quality but also clearly had a different sku #. Shout out to the delivery person who actually did his job with integrity by noticing the sku was incorrect and my grandmother for clocking the difference in design before he took the mattress off the delivery truck. The delivery person stated that, Eve was very deceptive and that this wasn't her first time deceiving buyers with the hopes that buyers would upgrade for additional monies! I am tired of the run around I am tired of asking for a direct regional director of operations and never hearing from anyone. Then call back ask again (after you go through customer care center and they are nice but you have to repeat the story over and over again) then told to deal with the store. Store turns around and doesn't listen to the customer! Then ask again to speak to the Stores regional and then get told (by the same person I have been working with) "well I'm the regional for this location." Weird cause you didn't tell me that when I asked to speak to them before. I even suspended part of the cc because this is mental anguish for over a month with no resolution. I called the corporate office # on the website asking for the complaint department. I got pushed to customer care! Then I get told they been working on it since 10/31 weird because I haven't gotten a call from them. So messed up the CUSTOMER has to follow up because they suck at customer service! And I am tired of being told I have to work with the people in the store...well NO I can't because they don't listen and they don't follow up! If I could I would return all of my furniture but I can't. I have been polite and understanding but no more. My other favorite part was why don't your just have us pick it up and pick something else or get the other color. If I wanted that I would have never have purchased what I wanted. I am almost at a point of filing a complaint with the better business bureau due to the mental anguish this company has put me through! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE STILL. After my purchase, he checked to see if any of my items purchased were entitled to any sales happening after I took delivery, he gave me credit nearly 30 days later. Colleen was the absolute best. We were there with our two children and she was so kind and patient. We explained what we were looking for and even though we were going to have to order off a floor room closer to our new home, which meant she would not get commission, she still went above and beyond, called their floor room, helped us secure the couch we wanted and helped us get the delivery date for this weekend. We couldn't have done that without her. She took so much stress off our shoulder. And this is our second couch from this store. Worst delivery service EVER!! We bought an entertainment console several weeks ago. The salesman was pleasant and professional. He helped without hovering. He couldn't get any of the tablets to work to place our order and I had to give him my phone number at least 5 times, possibly more, but he was a nice guy and he finally got on the computers to place the order. We had to wait 2 weeks for it to come in. The nightmare started on the day of delivery. First, the salesman had put our phone number in 2 places. Was incorrect in one place, but correct in the other place, so naturally customer service and everyone else only entered the wrong number. So, the delivery crew wasn't able to call. I was tracking the delivery all morning and as usual, the time kept changing due to traffic and whatnot. That's to be expected, but then I got an email saying they would be arriving in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later and seeing the tracking say "finished", I called customer service to find out what was going on. Long story short, through many phone calls to customer service, the store manager, the delivery manager called to say it had been delivered and they had a picture of it at the house. Not my house! So, they had a wrong phone number and delivered it to the wrong house. My husband drove around the neighborhood and found it. I was told the delivery crew would be back in 15 minutes to pick it up and bring it to us. Apparently, they just left it there and assumed it was the right house. No calls, no confirmations, nothing. 50 minutes later....not 15, they picked up from the wrong house and brought it to our house....with major attitude!! I didn't think by then I was capable of saying anything nice, so I tried to not say anything at all, but they said, "how are you?". Really??? This was several hours after it was supposedly delivered. I was fuming by then and all they had to say was it wasn't their fault. So, somehow their paperwork had a different address when EVERY SINGLE person I spoke with verified the CORRECT address!!! They should have been very humble and apologetic, not full of attitude!! They brought it in the house, even though it was a door delivery (that was decent of them), but literally left as fast as possible. Didn't have me sign anything, didn't stay to make sure it was in one piece. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It's not over yet.... We opened the box and everything looked beautiful...until...we got to the right end of it and it had the weirdest damage I have ever seen!! The glass panels were broken and laying quite nicely on the shelves! What?? If glass gets damaged in transit or handling, it cracks, shatters, or has small pieces fall out to the bottom. One top clip on each side of the panels was pulled out, still there. The bottom clips were fine. So....how on earth does the glass get broken in half and laid very nicely on the shelf??? At this point we were done. I called the store manager and told him to get this thing out of here and I DO NOT want the same company picking up as had done the delivery! They are going to refund in full, but it will be a week and 2 days after delivery before they pick it up! If you can't deliver a great product in a decent amount of time....you're in the wrong business and you will lose customers left and right!! I will tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY from Rooms To Go! You have been warned. Buy at your own risk!! Once we calmed down, we thought maybe we could just have it repaired, but then my husband found a crack in the wood on the right footstool. That can't be fixed and would only get worse over time. We believe that damage happened when the delivery guys tipped it out of the truck onto the asphalt. No dolly. No protective cushioning. I just canceled an order and they put my debit card money back on a credit card that they kept in file from the first purchase I never received When did companies start doing that. They keep your information on file which puts you at higher risk for someone to steal. Not to mention the attitude I got from Karen about keeping my info on file.I called and told them the mistake they made with the return and they still put it on a card I didn't make the purchase with. ZERO stars, I purchased a bed and mattress from rooms to go, they could not deliver the bed until two weeks after purchase. Delivery day finally arrives and they give me a window from 10am - 2pm. The delivery truck arrives around 6pm with only one delivery guy, my son had to help him bring the items in the house. The delivery guy realizes that he has the wrong headboard for the bed so he can't put the bed together. That was on a Tuesday, it's Thursday night now and still no headboard. I feel in love with a photograph of a dining set. It wasn't displayed in the store. It was ordered for me and delivered to my house. Two of the chairs were damaged and were noted by the delivery team. I refused to pay the additional amount for them to put the table together and did that myself. I was upset about the two chairs, which they were going to replace in a few days and went to the store. I selected a different chair, again not on the floor. Everyone was very helpful, the overall comment was if it isn't on the floor you have a few days to decide to keep it or return it. I'm thrill with the chairs I selected. FOLLOW UP!!!! Hello! So, the update is, after several emails to a variety of folks over there at RTG, I received a call today from Joseph who claims to be in the corporate offices in Florida. After explaining to him we are now a month out and with no resolution to the issues at hand, he could do nothing more than offer mild rebuttal that I was wrong. For example, he stated I had not advised them the pillows that were allegedly sent out to me as replacement had not made it but that lampshades had been inadvertently delivered. I had to laugh, given the email I sent stating same had been responded to with a promise to look into it. Truly, no one at RTG that I have had a chance to speak with has had an ounce of customer service ability. It seems they are more likely to put the issue back on the customer, in this case me, as though I was the reason the replacement furniture had not been provided, pillows had not been sent and I was looking forward to my FIFTH Saturday waiting on now replacement items from my INITIAL delivery over a month prior. The bottom line is they have been awful. We can't understand wny we could not receive a phone call as requested, could not be treated as the recipient of damaged goods as opposed to a nuisance and a bother. I am sorry we ever ordered furniture from them and will obviously never do so again. I guess the upside is that Robert advised I could keep the lampshades I did not order. As with a number of reviews, I've had a horrible experience with the delivery of my furniture. I purchased a new living room set and was scheduled for a delivery from 10-2 (already terrible). At 11 am I get a call saying they are on the way, yet at 1:30 I get another call asking if I got my furniture. I finally got someone to find the truck and am told it'll be between 4-8pm now. When I called customer service to discuss after the guy from dispatch hing up on me, the rep come back after a 10 min wait and says they'll give me $40. I paid over $200 for delivery and set up.
