I was looking to buy a tempurpedic bed and called the store to be sure they had what I was looking…read morefor. The manager, Jay, took my call and told me to ask for him when I arrive at the store. That's exactly what I did. Upon meeting Jay, he was very nice and bubbly. He came off as super accommodating. I've now come to the understand that this was just a façade to acquire a sale. Jay sold me a Nectar bed and a loveseat. I was told it would take approximately two weeks for the furniture to arrive to my home. Two weeks went by and I called to check on the delivery. Jay told me that the mattress came in damaged and that he had to order a new one. He said he was unsure of how long It would take for the new one to arrive. I was offered a loaner mattress in the meantime, and this would be delivered with the loveseat. These items arrive in week three. After they were delivered and set up, I noticed the love seat was damaged. I sent a text with pictures to Jay. After trying to joke about the issue, Jay agreed to order a new chair. Why the chair wasn't checked for damages alongside the mattress that was found to be damaged? This is the question I have. After patiently waiting for five weeks, I received a call from that my ordered bed was ready to be delivered. I asked if the new chair would be delivered with it and I was told that there was no order for a new chair shown. I called the store to speak with Jay about this and was told he was not working and that my information would be left on his desk to be addressed first thing in the morning. I ended up calling Jay the next day and told him not to worry about the loveseat; that I wanted them to pick up the damaged loveseat and to refund me my money. At this point, nice and bubbly Jay has turned nonchalant and unphased by my frustration. Finally, in week six, my bed is being delivered. I asked the delivery team if they were taking the loveseat. I was told that they were to only deliver the ordered bed and take the loaner mattress. I called the store to ask Jay about picking up the damaged loveseat, I was told that Jay was busy and that he said he would call me back. Jay did not call me back, instead he randomly sent two men to pick up the loveseat. I'm not home at the time and through my video doorbell, I asked the two men how can I help them. They informed me that they were sent to pick up the loveseat. No one called me to confirm any of this, not even Jay, whom I was told would call me back. I'm so disappointed with the service that I have received at this business. The fact that the store manager was my salesman, and the main person of contact, makes this even more disappointing. I'll never patronize this business again. Its not worth the hassle. I ordered a couch of comparable quality, for half the price, and it arrived in less than a week. If I wasn't so desperate and anxious for a good nights rest, I'd return to bed too.

I have been on the hunt for a new sectional for almost a year and finally made my way to Ashley's…read more When I walked in there were at least 4-5 employees standing at the front, unfortunately no one spoke to us or even looked our way. I wanted to leave, but there was a sectional right in front that caught our eye. While trying it out after a few minutes a gentleman named Sam came over very vibrant and bubbly letting us know if we needed anything to let him know. At this point we continued walking around and tryied a large variety of couches. Every once and a while Sam would check in on us, but he never was overbearing or pushy about it. Once we narrowed it down Sam appeared and we went over our options. He was very detailed explaining the payment options, warranties and deliveries times. Ultimately, I did not feel welcomed at all when walking in, but if it wasn't for Sam I would have left instantly. He made us feel like we mattered regardless what people may have thought, as our money mattered just like anyone elses. Sam was a great salesman and I am glad I was finally able to find a couch for my new home. He has even continued to follow up with us weekly on updates on when our couch will be delivered. I give the store a 1/5, but Sam gets all 5 's!
