Brand new roof complete with plywood sheeting 7-8 years ago. Owner treated me rudely when I complained that workers brought wrong color. He said it was the new replacement color and the one I picked was from old brochure, which he provided. Made him find the right color to proceed. Now I have a leak. I fully expected to pay for repair at this late date. Unfortunately, owner did not return one of my 5 calls over the course of a week and a half. I would never recommend him. read more

I can't tell you how well their roofs hold up, but I can tell you their employees are rude, they don't clean up their job sites, and they do not stick to their stated hours. Once they sign a contract it seems that customer service goes out the window! read more

I spent $30,000 on a roof with them about fourteen years ago. I need a repair and have called them probably eight times in the last six weeks. Got a call back after the sixth call and was told that they would schedule the repair. Still haven't gotten that call! Terrible customer service! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while because I thought about Mike and his roofing company almost every day this winter. We had Mike come out last year anticipating El Niño, which never came. And then we got hit with storm watch 2017! Despite day after day of pelting rain, we never had a leak or the slightest problem. Mike had been recommended to us from a Real Estate friend of ours, and he and his team really were exceptional. I usually hate spending money on things I can't see (like roof repair!) but it was money well spent They did what they sad they would, in the time they promised for a reasonable price. read more

Good luck trying to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I called and provided my contact information. Someone called me back two days later and left me a message to return their call, but provided the general company number. When I called, the lady at the company told me the person who had left me the message was not in the office and asked if I wanted to leave a message for him. When I asked if someone else could help me in setting up an appointment I as told no. I asked if I should call another company and take my business elsewhere. We have two commercial properties that had leaks after the recent rains. We called several roofing contractors for estimates. Mike Lee came out and explained the flat roof and tile roof issues that we faced. He gave a bid and a projected start date that was some weeks out. We called several other contractors for bids as well. There were all very qualified but we felt most comfortable with Mike's explanation of the issues and his low pressure sales presentation. We contracted with Roofing Standards and we were given a production start date. They arrived on the date agreed upon and every day after on time to complete the work. It was a seven day project using both a single ply system for the flat decks and only needed new underlayment for the tile mansards. They replaced the pipe flashings and valley metals, and were able to re-use the clay tile for the pitched roofs. It was very nice to see that that would be cleaning up the job throughout the day and took pride in their work. Every worker at the site was polite and respectful. Superintendent Rick was very helpful, answering all of our questions. We strongly recommend Roofing Standards. They were responsive to our needs, timely on production, and will use them again on our next project. read more

Our HOA, needed a tear down and roof replacement for our building. We asked our contact Billy Kennedy for a list of references, received a.long list, and picked some at random to call. Those who responded were uniformly positive, stating that the communication with the company was excellent and punch list items were all addressed in a timely manner. One property manager described a tear down and roof replacement job this way: "everything went smoothly" .
