We scheduled a roofing estimate for 10AM and waited at home all morning, but nobody showed up. Then they said the estimator would arrive around 11AM. Nobody had arrived by then either, so we called again. This time they said someone had already came by but nobody was at home. The excuse was so ridiculous. We were home the entire time, and our front door camera did not capture anyone coming to the house at all. Customer support said they would confirm with the estimator, but they didn't call us back and stopped answering our calls. What made this even more frustrating was that it seemed intentional, because they initially had my husband's phone number, and after he called many times with no answer, I tried calling from my own number and they immediately picked up. Once they had my number on file, they stopped answering my calls too. Overall, this was an extremely unprofessional experience. Poor communication, dishonest excuses, and terrible customer service. I would not recommend.

The owner Dave Lara was highly professional, courteous, and promptly responsive to every question and concern. He checked on the progress and quality of the work multiple times daily. His bid was fair. His work proposal, unlike my other bidders, was comprehensive and inclusive, meaning he spelled out and priced every eventuality so there were no surprising added charges. His team worked extremely hard when they were on the job..and they clearly liked and were well led and by David. They cleaned up daily during the four day project. Most importantly, the work and the workmanship was impeccable. They used the latest methods and materials. They discovered issues (like facia boards with dry rot or poorly sealed chimney and skylight openings, or gutter downspouts that had not been well installed by previous roofers) and they took care of them. They went out of the way to make the job PERFECT. Net net- I was very thorough in vetting the four companies that bid on the project...but even after choosing AGD carefully and expecting a lot, they exceeded my expectations in terms of customer service, job quality and value. The company leads the pack and I would trust them completely with other projects.

I contacted Manada again and I was told to pay $500 for them to come out and see THEIR own work and that fee would be applied to any work they do! Unbelievable, my father became ill and couldn't deal with this and I did contact the Better Business Bureau and they stated that too many years had passed- it was 3 years. How long is a roof supposed to last?? Regardless, poor craftsmanship and material reflects the job quality of Manada Roofing. I just today, completed the repairs for this winter. This is a shameless unethical company that DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

But it started leaking again after another rainy season. My husband contacted Jose for an estimate for the leaky roof above our garage. Jose came out, took a look and noted the sealed tiles but explained that the cracked tile is not the source of the leaking. He pointed out that while the cracked tile is part of the problem, the main source is the second story draining water directly into a gap between the tiles. He was very professional, friendly and great at explaining what the root cause of our leak was and his plan to fix it. Total opposite from the previous contractor! They came out next business day and fixed the roof. They were very thorough and clean. My mom would go up stairs and take a look through the window from her room and would tell me how great of a job they were doing. They even cleaned our gutters (which were in much need of cleaning and pleasant surprise). We received photos of his initial assessment and photos of the work that was done (before, during and after). Some photos we received are attached. It was nice to see what was happening during the job. Our roof looks great, and we have peace of mind knowing it was repaired with care and quality workmanship. I'm so thankful my husband found Calisco Roofing and would 1000% hire them again for any of our future roofing needs! If you need any roof work done, I highly recommend Calisco Roofing!

HALCO to the Rescue!…read more After my in-laws (both in their late 80s) had their roof replaced in late 2025, concerns were later identified regarding the quality of the installation. Multiple inspections and an independent assessment confirmed that significant corrective work would be needed. When a trusted local painter noticed some of the issues, I asked him who he would recommend for an honest evaluation. Without hesitation, he said HALCO, a company that has been serving our community for more than 40 years. From the first inspection through the final repairs, HALCO was exceptional. They thoroughly evaluated the roof, clearly explained what needed to be corrected, and communicated every step of the process. Scheduling was smooth, the office staff was responsive, and there were no surprises along the way. A special thank you to Lupe and his crew for their professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in their work.
