I had two tires that were basically knew except for they were wearing weird on the inside of the tire and they replaced my tires and bounced them for $130 which was fair and then I pulled out and it's way worse so I contacted them about it and the guy couldn't speak English and kept asking me my tire size I said I'm the guy in the black truck from yesterday that didn't seem to ring a bell. So we just set the phone down and left it there. Called back and explained I'm going to get an alignment and if these tires are still no I'm sorry I had already told him in the first conversation that I'm getting in the lineman it doesn't matter the size of my tires I'm telling you that if I get an alignment in these tires are still an issue then I would kindly hope that you guys would fix the situation on your end. I went there to buy 1 tire, after my tire got an unrepairable nail in the sidewall. I called to check if they had a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ in the size of 235 / 50 / R18. They said they DID. I got there and they tried to sell me a 235 / 50 / R18 Michelin Lattitude. These are two completely different tires! When I confronted the tech why he told me he had a Pilot Sport then was trying to sell me this he said "Theyre the same size. It doesnt matter. The tread pattern doesnt matter.. Only the size!" DO NOT GO HERE. THEY COULDVE GOTTEN ME INTO AN ACCIDENT. Had a new car for under a month and got a nail in one of my tires so I decided to come here since they were cheap to repair tires. I was serviced by 2 spanish men that tried telling me my tire was too worn out and i should get a new one from them. He tried showing me some wear but I knew it was a lie because the tires are under a month old. I told him just fix my tire ill come back if it explodes or something just get the nail out and he just went and fixed it and put it back on my car. I heard them talking bad about me in spanish as i went to pay and the cashier told me as i was paying i need a new tire very soon. As i drove away my tire pressure light was on so i went to a gas station to rebalance everything thinking they didnt put enough air into it after fixing it. ... They put 50+ PSI on the tire they repaired. It was supposed to be 32. The tire couldve popped at any moment with that much air in it. read more

This place is a scam I went there and I bought four different tires separately at different times the last tire I bought busted the same night! The guy told me that it was my car and that he wasn't going to help me. I went and bought a tire because the tire on my car had a small hole so there was a small leak so I needed to replace it. I strongly believe he just put air in the tire and told me that he put a new one on thinking that he could get away with it. Came here after the following businesses said they couldn't take me for various reasons: - Tire Stop - Chantilly - moved location - G&C Tire and Auto - Chantilly - too busy - Mr. Tire - Fairfax - Not handling used tires - Just Tire - Fairfax - Not handling used tires - Weber Tire - Fairfax - Not handling used tires I have a set of all season tires used this past winter that have less than 3k miles on them. Several shops stated they weren't willing/able to mount used tires claiming they would be held liable for the condition of unknown sourced tires. Just regular little ol' passenger 175/65R14s I attempted to unmount/mount the tires with a Harbor Freight tire changer and thinking I could get any shop to balance afterwards. (unmount easy, mount was a pain) I called up Ron's Tire which I had seen signage before going down 28 South. They took me right away and completed/mounted/balanced d all 4 tires within 15-20 min @$15/wheel. $60 total, no hassle, well balanced, no issues post install. A+ Appearance wise, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. It felt informal, like pulling up to a buddies garage. Three "Eses" running the place. No clearly/immediate process as the guy working the desk also pulls duty in the shop area. So if he's busy when you pull up you're might not be sure where to go/do. Will repeat business, good fast cheap, what else do you want? Also considering weekends in the Fairfax/Chantilly, the big name tire shops have miles long waiting lists. read more

Horrible! I had just left the bmw dealer to come here for a quick tire change and what I got from it is a cracked rims!!!! Everything looked fine when I left but that evening my tire went flat so I went back the next morning for them to tell me my rim is cracked. Ummmm i was just at bmw getting serviced and my rim was fine and my rim has been fine. To replace my rim is $400. Can't find a used at all in the same style. I called no help is being given to me or assistance. I had my husband call and they are so rude no one wants to take responsibility. They said they will call me and nothing! My darn tire light came on...once again (I have got to stop driving through questionable streets in D.C.!). Since I am trading my car in within the next two months, I didn't want to make the investment of 250 for each tire and I am a bit OCD and wouldn't just change one tire...I like to know they are wearing evenly. I know, I'm crazy lol. My coworkers kept mentioning how great this place was so I had to check it out. I figured it had to be a scam of some sort...there is no way you are getting a decent tire that won't die on you in a week or so. I drove up. They helped me immediately. They walked around and could immediately tell without removing my tires which ones needed to be replaced. Unlike other places, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The guy actually found out that it was only a nail and that I didn't need a single tire replaced. I had already agreed to purchase a tire from him so he could have just lied and sold me a new one. Needless to say, it was well worth the trip. I had the nail hole fixed and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. The guy fixing my tire calls himself Superman....I happen to agree! I must have driven over a small piece of metal resulting in a flat tire. I figured I would have to buy a tire....and since my car is only 2 years old with low miles, I didn't want to buy 4 new ones....nor did I want to buy only 1 new one and have them all wear differently. I read other reviews and decided to try Ron's. I recommend calling ahead with your tire size to make sure they have it available. They stated it would take about 10 minutes to change the tire for $50 but they would give it to me for $45. The building is small and old but everyone was busily working on something...and they did have a small, air conditioned area to wait similar to any other service station. I was immediately greeted and showed the tire to Juan. He was very friendly and told me that I could also have it repaired (instead of buying a tire) for $15 and it would be done in 5 minutes. With a 2 year old at nap time, that sounded like music to my ears. I appreciated that he was honest in saying that the tire could be patched instead of just selling me a tire because I wouldn't have known any different. He definitely saved me some money! I had a slow leak on a standard car tire that had been irritating me for two weeks. I called several small tire places that all wanted $50+ to replace it. Finally I called Ron's on a Sunday and drove in. I waited 5 minutes for them to finish with another customer. Then they quickly began work on my tire. The guy jacked it up, removed the tire from the rim, put on a new tire, balanced it, checked for leaks, and then put it back on my car. Less than 20 minutes after I arrived, I was on the road again, and it only cost me $45. read more

I left one star review a while back but I guess they paid yelp to remove my review. But their used tire quality is bad and they reused the tires that's left from the customers. I've seen them marking tire sizes on customers left over tires before. I changed my tires but they rotated couple other tires because rotation arrow didn't work out and now it's making this humming noise when I'm driving. It is annoying. We all know it's no fun dealing with a flat tire. I have called several places got quotes, and have had to deal with the up selling, the telling me what I already knew,then trying to get me to get my car towed there without even knowing if they can fix the problem. Mind you I was trying to tell them the tire size make and model and what my issues are and they said they'll check their inventory once I got there. And this was at several places. Replaced two front tires with balance. After driving, steering was shaking. Three weeks later, brought back and complained. Had to re-balance and re-pay the balance cost. So whenever you use their service, need to watch them from A to Z before go in to pay. Before they balance your tire, they ask you to go in the office to pay - DON'T. Wait until they finish balance your tire. They might shortcut the balance. Otherwise, these guys are fast - no wait. read more

Ron's used tires rocks! We had an unexpected flat on our Land Rover and were pretty cash strapped due to Christmas. The $800 price tag on a set of new tires was not going to happen, even the $400 just to replace 2 was still out of reach. We had passed by Ron's Used tires several times and thought we'd give it a shot. We showed up 10 minutes before they closed and we thought we' be turned away but we were taken right in. They took the two rims and tires we brought into the shop, removed the old tires, mounted and balanced the new (used) tires and had them ready to go in about 10 minutes. These guys are fast and really appreciate your business. After all was said and done we had two brand name used tires with plenty of life left installed for $90! This was less than the price of one new tire not including mounting an balancing at every other tire shop in the area. These guys are even cheaper than the folks selling used tires on craigslist. Another big bonus is that all of their tires have a 30 day warranty so if you have an issue you can simply come back for a replacement. We were always skeptical of used tire places but after going to Ron's we will be lifetime customers. read more

went there back in january 2013 the price was cheap under 100 for 4 wheels than the wheels kept leaking air after , they were careless and ruined 2 wheels on my car ,spent 200 bucks trying to fix the leak i went there again in september bc than they said the price was 200 for 4 wheels we changed it and they told me we had a different size tire.. These guy's were great. I was a walk in, they didn't have any 205/60/15's but offered to put on 195/55/15's, which work fine since it's just a slight difference in width. They show you the tires first so you can inspect them, and I walked away with 4 Michelin used tires, and they only took about 10 minutes to put them on the car. Price was great too..
