Without going into detail we have had mixed experiences here. Our most recent experience was…read moremaddening. They fixed my daughter's oil leaking problem to the tune of $800. But when she drove the car home, there was outrageous and unsafe steering problems. Yes, it's a very old Camry with a lot of miles, and she had already decided this would be her final big investment prior to buying her next car. She's 25 now, and got it used while in college. When we brought it back up there, they were basically like, Oh, yeah she needs a steering alignment, as well as x, y and z. They never said a word, and she had been so relieved she would have a repaired car for her 40 minute work commute the next day. Nope. Just kept the car there for another couple days, while making arrangements again to get to work. Two days later, we pick up the car along with another bill for 5 or 6 hundred. Prior to this, we had good experiences, but I'm undecided whether I'll go back after they returned the car in that condition, knowing full well it was a big problem, instead of of giving her a call about it. They are fast, and have convenient hours.

They (Nissan of North Olmsted) came out forthright and said that they would not want me to purchase a new rim from Nissan because it is $1,000. They recommended going around finding someone who could refurbish your rim or else get a rim from a salvage yard. I asked for recommendations and this was the first card he gave me. He said he heard good things about them. I drove straight there and was totally impressed. Alloy was the only shining bright light on this day. He could repair the rim, solder it back to shape and the cost would be $200. It was available by noon the next day for pick-up. A pleasure to deal with - Greg, the general manager, seemed to be the only one in the office. He seemed to handle everyone professionally (men, women, phone calls, etc.). They do a lot of high-end cars that are getting customized rims - tons of Mercedes there. I highly would recommend a visit there for your wheel needs!

The next day I was driving around town and was notified by the person I was visiting for the week that there was a large stain on their driveway. Upon returning to their home, it indeed was the oil from my truck. Checking my dipstick, it indeed registered nothing. I called Conrad's and was told to bring my truck in immediately. I have a skid plate on the front of my truck (for protection for off-roading) and I told the manager that I wanted every speck of oil removed as it acted as a serving dish for the six and a half quarts of oil that had drained out. The manager said that the technician admitted that he "thought he had seen a gasket" fly off during the oil change. Due to the absolute negligence of a simple oil change, I took my truck to Olmsted Auto to have them go over the work that had been done at Conrad's. The skid plate had been cleaned, HOWEVER, two of the guys working on my truck rolled my tires into the waiting room so I could have a look at the absolute mess the tech at Conrad's had done. Heavily scratched my rim most likely to his using a metal screwdriver to remove the weights instead of the appropriate plastic tool, and in the words of Olmsted Auto, "this is how you should NOT balance tires". The weights had been spread haphazardly around the rims of all four tires. I did reach Mike, a person in an authoritative position at Conrad's Tires who refunded me the full amount of service. I am now responsible for fully cleaning someone's driveway once it warms up as this occurred during subzero temps, and I will be contacting Conrad's for a rim replacement when I return to the area.
