Turns out that is exactly what the part retails for, checked AutoZone and genuine Chevy parts online. This place doubled down, they reserve the right to mark up the parts as they choose on some margin they weren't able to disclose to me, wouldn't tell me how much they paid for my part, just that they weren't gonna budge on what they charged me. Ladies, make sure you ask ALL the questions, don't let anyone think you don't know what you're talking about before you leave your car with a mechanic shop like this one.

Communication is key with managing my vehicle's mechanical issues. When you work 7-5, you have to create options for how to get to/from work/home. My vehicle was to be ready Tuesday by 1700. At 1700 I had to call and ask for a status. Yesterday (Tuesday) said it would be ready around 1000 today (Wednesday). It is 1330 now and no call. I am concerned with how well I can trust this place now. Now I'm worried about how well the work is. CURRENT: Owner and operator personally called and worked out my schedule concerns and literally setup delivery for my vehicle. Explained information that created the problem and shared their plan to avoid recurring schedule concerns. The behavior I experienced from Mr Trevor is more than I expected but appreciated greatly. Enough to extend my full trust in their work and future scheduling. The best experience in all my Yelp reviews... Thank you Provision Automotive!

From the moment I chatted with Amon and then Steve on the phone, I was impressed with their service. They fit me in same day for a free suspension inspection, and the staff took the time to document their findings with pictures and video. This was super helpful for understanding what was actually going on with my car. While they pointed out a few small areas that would eventually need attention, they reassured me that it wasn't urgent and that I didn't need to replace anything right away. They not only saved me a significant amount of money, but their friendliness and professionalism made the experience even better. I specifically worked with Steve, Amon, and Jonathan, and all three were very knowledgeable friendly, laid back, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I'm not surprised about the other awesome reviews as its clear they truly prioritize great customer service. I left feeling relieved and also confident in their expertise, and I definitely plan to return for any future auto repair needs. If you're looking for an honest shop that provides fantastic service, I highly recommend Aloha Auto Repair! Thanks so much, Steve, Amon, and Jonathan. I really appreciate y'all!!

The truck ended up needing significant work, including a new transmission, front-end suspension issues, a steering column, and a variety of other items. What really impressed me, though, was the integrity and honesty of the team at Fifth Gear. Instead of just pushing me to authorize a huge repair bill, they had a genuine conversation with me about whether it made sense to invest that much into such an old vehicle. Their advice wasn't about making a quick buck--it was about what was genuinely best for me and my brother's truck, which he depends on for his work. That level of transparency and character is something you don't always find, and it's exactly why I'll be recommending Fifth Gear Automotive to anyone who asks. Even though we ultimately decided not to proceed with the repairs, they've earned my trust and future business. Kudos to the team for their professionalism and integrity!

I had to go find them again to scan the system to cancel the lights. And they said the "lights were on when they got the car." I told them that's why I reached out and offered business. Wasn't it their job to wrap it up before saying the car is ready? Service - I chose them because they said they offer the service to send the car back to me without me having to show up there. And it was communicated that they could have the car fixed within the day. It was discounted after they got the car, saying they didn't even have the parts ready by the end of the day and that they had to wait one more day. Plus, they told me they could only Uber me to their plant to pick up the car instead of sending it back to me. They should not OVERPROMISE on such supporting services as the customer chose them for the sake of time. It turned out I had to cancel lots of errands, which would have been totally avoidable if they had been upfront and decent from the beginning and throughout the service. I gave them two stars instead of one only because the manager showed a good attitude and admitted that they should have done a better job. Anyway, the experience was NOT pleasant.
