I have been seeing Dr Z for over 40 years and still come from Wisconsin to see him and will continue to do so until he retires! No one cares more for his patients and goes out of his way to see you in any emergency situation! if you go to him once you will never want to see another dentist. read more

Dr Z is a great dentist. I found him on Yelp and I couldn't be happier being his patient. Recently I noticed my face was swollen. Googled it and found it might be a tooth infection. Immediately called Dr Z and he asked if I could come in later that day. Seriously when does that happen with any doctor. He put me on antibiotics and everything worked out but could have been very serious. I am so grateful to have a dentist like Dr Z. read more

Best dentist I've ever been to. Went to him years ago when he was the only one that had a working emergency number when I had a dental emergency. Very professional and up to date on latest techniques. Highly recommend. Always has great staff! read more

Wonderful - kind and welcoming environment. I had a dental emergency and needed assistance on NYE. I needed to find a dentist in my neighborhood, Roscoe Village, that was open to help me figure out my next steps with a specific tooth that was causing progressive and consistent pain and I was so worried about the issue not being able to be treated til after the new year. I contacted Dr. Zelikow's office via his website on a Sunday and heard back within an hour (amazing) and he assured me that he could take a look on Monday, which was NYE. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the support that I received from his office on NYE morning to make sure that I was pointed in the right direction to a trusted specialist in Roscoe Village that was able to service me that day. Due to the support I received from Dr. Zelikow's office, I was able to resolve my issue and pain on NYE and I'm forever grateful. So wonderful to be in such an amazing community for 5 years and still finding new amazing professionals that provide top notch customer service and support. read more

I have been going to Dr. Ron for 15+ years after a friend referred me. Everyone on staff is friendly and professional. Dr Ron cares for you and your mouth health, always listens and takes care of what ever comes up. I go 2 times a year for cleanings and checkups. Hygienist Jenny is wonderful too. read more

Dr. Zelikow is amazing. He has been my dentist since I was a little girl, and I made him promise that even when he eventually retires, he still has to take care of my teeth! I LOVE going to the dentist because of this man! How many people can say that? Dr. Zelikow is friendly, professional, and extremely good at his job. He is very gentle, and even though I've probably had about 10 cavities filled over the years, I've never experienced any pain. Dr. Zelikow's staff is also great...I have to give a special shout-out to Mary at the front desk, who is always wonderful to deal with. I wouldn't trade my dentist for the world! His patients are extremely lucky to have him. read more

Best d*mn dentist in the city. OK, I have no other dentist to compare since I've been a patient for...hmm...over 22 years! See him once and he'll be your family dentist for a lifetime. btw, strangely this listing is under "oral surgeons", which he is not. Ron is strictly general dentistry. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Z for over 6 years dating back to when he had an office on Southport. His new office on Belmont is top notch. He's always super friendly and straightforward. He's not condescending about not flossing, not getting in every six months, etc.. Occasionally, he still even cleans my teeth himself. Dr. Z's way cool. read more

Needed a cleaning and needed to address a broken tooth - can't get any more perfect than the service I received today. And no pain! During the procedure or after! Hygienist is awesome - and Dr Z walks on water in my book! read more

Incredibly skilled and equally kind dentist. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Zelikow for about 30 years and have always appreciated his exceptional care, his devotion to dental health and his willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. Wouldn't consider going to see any other dentist. read more

Dr. Ron's office is always pleasant as can be. excellent work keeps his appointment doesn't keep you waiting. We keep coming back for 13 years. Adds meaning to "professional ". Fear of dentists is gone. read more

Dr. Zelikow rocks! I started going to him when i first moved to Chicago in '98. then my husband got dental insurance, and he wasn't on that plan, so i switched...well, the new guy was awful...sized up my teeth and then told me i was on the verge of "palatal collapse" and needed braces immediately and then gave me the name of his associate for a referral. i was terrified (palatal collapse?) and couldn't believe that in 30+ years no one had ever mentioned this before. well then my husband, who has near perfect teeth after years of braces, went to him and the guy tried to sell him Veneers...???? total scam artist! anyway, long story short...i ditched that insurance and went back to Dr. Zelikow and apologized for cheating on him, and didn't mind at all...reassured me that my teeth were fine (sure if i wanted to correct my slight overbite then i could, but i didn't need to...that i would do just fine for the next 60+ years as is)...anyway, so happy to be back with him...highly recommend. and he does the entire exam and cleaning himself, vs. handing it off to his assistant... (and he takes my new dental insurance!) read more

Been going to Dr Zelikow for about a year. Treats me well, and has great staff. Much better than the other place I was going to.

Walking into Dr. Zelikow's office feels more like a day spa than a dentist's office: bright, well-lit open spaces, with blonde woods, nice paintings, and friendly staff. Dr. Zelikow himself is top-notch! He has the most up to date technology and equipment, and he's extremely knowledgeable - he'll talk you through what's going on with your teeth, and review your options - from what time frame you're looking at (ie. if you don't get your teeth fixed, what will happen), to types of treatment available, etc. He's very honest on his opinions about treatments (ie. he doesn't recommend laser teeth-whitening). He's a nice guy, very approachable, I love his style! I highly recommend him! read more

Dr. Zelikow is the best dentist in the world. He has helped my teeth look incredible. He is very sincere and honest. It is always a pleasure to go to his office. I love that he stands behind what he does. I had a tray done to get my teeth whitened and the day before I was supposed to come in he called me and told me that he was not happy with how the tray turned out so I had to do the mold again - that was super nice of him. I love my teeth now :) read more

We switched to Dr. Zelikow after getting sick of driving out to the suburbs to see our family dentist and we are extremely happy with him and his entire staff. Their office is very comfortable, and it's a nice place to go. If you are looking for a great dentist in the Lincoln Park / Lakeview / Wrigleyville area, go with him! read more

I broke a tooth last night and my normal dentist wasn't open today. I looked online and found Dr. Zelikow and saw the rave reviews, figured he must be a solid guy. He got me right in, realized it was a broken crown and shaved it down and polished it so it would stop cutting my tongue and gums and told me to take it up with my current dentist - that they should stand by their work. I went to the front to pay and there was NO charge for the work. The reviews are true. This guy is a really sincere doc, and I will be moving my business to him immediately. Very friendly staff, very clean/modern office. Doc is the man, def recommend this place. (I don't do Yelp reviews - ever. So that say's something I think). read more

Honest, professional, skilled. Dr. Zelikow and his hygienist are amazing. I went to a fancy, well reviewed Dr. In the loop and he sold me unnecessary fillings. Zelikow is more interested in my long term health over selling me something. Love him. read more

I chose Dr. Zelikow after reading many favorable reviews of him on here and I was duly impressed. It had been about 18 months since my last cleaning and I had cavities and a chipped tooth and he got me all fixed up. Unfortunately, I didn't have dental insurance so it cost me a pretty penny. Still, he's a great dentist and I highly recommend him. read more

Wow! Best Dentist ever! Truly goes above and beyond for his patients. I have been going to Dr. Zelikow since I sprouted my first tooth. I will be 30 next month! I know some people are afraid to go to the dentist or dread it. I feel so much better once I see Dr. Zelikow and his amazing staff! Also, I don't think I've waited longer than 2 minutes in the lobby to get taken care of. I'm not surprised on all the other 5 star ratings on here. I definitely recommend Dr. Zelikow and his crew of professionals. read more

He has been my dentist since I was 10 years old..... Sheesh, that is a longggg time now. He is pleasant, friendly and realistic. I hope he can take care of me until I no longer need any teeth. read more

Dr. Zelikow is the absolute best!!! I have been his patient since he took over my retiring dentist's practice years ago on Southport and Addison. He is always friendly and professional and has very convenient hours. Wouldn't trade him for any other dentist no matter how far I was I live! read more

Dr. Zelikow is great. Not only does he meet the needs of busy patients by scheduling appointments until 7pm on Wednesdays, but he is personable, gentle, thorough, and honest. Dr. Z was the second dentist I visited after moving to Chicago several years ago. The first dentist (also located on Belmont) charged me a shocking amount for my cleaning and told me that I needed three fillings immediately. I was suspicious that the other dentist was ripping me off since I hadn't needed anything beyond routine cleanings in the last 10 years... and there seemed to be a lot of fancy new equipment all over the place. (Is it really necessary to see video footage as the hygienist cleans your teeth? I'll pass on that, thank you very much.) So after reading the reviews on Yelp, I made an appointment with Dr. Z to get a second opinion. Dr. Z did a thorough exam and concluded that none of the fillings that had been recommended to me were actually necessary. He also took the time to show me why. My teeth and my wallet are sure glad we found Dr. Z! read more

Dr Zelikow's office is great! Fabulous hours and they offer pain free dental work which is a HUGE bonus!

I'm a physician in Chicago. I broke a tooth and needed to see a dentist ASAP. I called Dr. Zelikow office at 7:30AM. By 8:15, I was in his office being seen He' extremely professional and exceedingly intelligent (he knows his stuff!). As a health care provider, I would definitely trust him and would recommend him to others. read more

I have been going to Dr. Zelikow for over 20 years. He is a great dentist. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ron Zelikow is a first rate dentist! He was recommended to me through a friend and I was extremely pleased with the work he did on my teeth. Throughout the appointment he let's you know what's going on and has a very pleasant demeanor too. I wish I found him years ago. If you need a dentist -- he's the one to go to. read more

I would not recommend going to Zelikow. I have had to spend a lot of money to repair work the dental work that he did. I went to a new dentist and was able to see the work on camera that he did and it was not good. I changed dentists because his fillings were falling out. He is a very nice guy and so people like him and want to go to him but I had to find out the hard way that the dental work was not good. I hate to write such a bad review so I can only hope that he turns things around. read more

He is not only a good dentist but when it comes to dentistry he is an Artist , his whole office and the process is so hygienically clean.
