I went for cleanings and at both locations they were hell bent on trying to sell me on 5k worth of dental services. I informed them nicely I was only there for a cleaning. Both locations never finished the cleaning. Absolutely disgusting and rude. This place just validated my irrational fear of going to the dentist. Bedside manner was nonexistent. The dentist seemed just over it in general. Waited until I was in pain to numb me. I felt like I was drowning the entire visit. He didn't assemble his tools properly and it flew off while he was drilling in my mouth, not even acknowledging that it happened. I had to ask is everything ok because at this point the whole lower side of my face was numb. When I got home my lip was swollen with a cut and scratches on my chin and cheek. I'm already an anxious person this was by far the worst experience I've had in a long time. Now fast forward to over a week later, one of my fillings completely fell out. I would rather pay twice the amount somewhere else than get a free service from this place. Tip: It's very common for people to be afraid of going to the dentist because it's usually not a pleasant experience. Work on making your guests feel more comfortable in the beginning to set the tone for the entire service. Properly assemble your tools or invest in better ones. The dentist, Dr. Menar and the staff are great here, BUT the office managers NORMA and IDALIA NAVAR are the WORST, due to their RACISM, UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERISMS, INCOMPETENCE, DISHONESTY, AND DISREGARD TO WHAT'S LEGAL!!! I'm a Black American Woman and was a patient here. I used my dental insurance for fillings, cleaning, and extractions. I also got a Partial for the top of my mouth, and obtained a Financial loan from an External Source (SUNBIT). My partial BROKE THREE TIMES IN LESS THAN FOUR MONTHS and while I took them to be repaired the 2nd time, I was CONFRONTED by IDALIA that I owed Dental Town some money, yet I was clueless to what she was talking about because I was making monthly payments to SUNBIT. IDALIA taunted me, with my teeth in her hands, waving them back forth in my face, while I was explaining to her how was clueless. They NEVER sent mail nor emails about the matter, and her and NORMA'S only explanation is/was, "You signed on the line!" I made arrangements with them, but teeth broke AGAIN, shortly after this 1st dispute. So I got a new dentist, and Norma kept the damaged partial DEMANDING MONEY FROM ME!!! I'm eligible for a payment refund from SUNBIT, but NORMA TOLD ME ON 05/16/24, THAT SHE WILL NOT TAKE A LOST FOR ME AND DO THE LEGAL AND RIGHT PROCESS FOR ME TO BE REFUNDED FOR THE DAMAGED PARTIAL!!! Giving this a one star considering the doctor was very nice and wasn't super rough on the cleaning. Other than that, I truly disliked my experience here and probably should listen to my gut to go somewhere closer to my home. I came here a few years back and it was ok, nothing great. Fast forward a few years, I needed a quick fast cleaning, nothing over the top. My teeth health is pretty great no cavities, no fillings. I had my appointment today for 12:30, got there around 12:15 I have no problem waiting inside as it's cold out. When I tell you that, I mean I'll wait a bit. Knowing it's a doctors office I get you're gonna wait a bit. I waited AN HOUR AND A HALF before they took me to the back, waited another 20 minutes before the cleaning actually started. I walked out of there at 2:20 pm. For a simple cleaning. I would've appreciated a heads up if appointments are backed up, but at least I'd know and I can either stay or leave. But no, had me waiting for almost 2 hours, and I don't know what it was but they have like 3 receptionists and all of them are just blah, no "sorry we're running behind" when I asked how much longer it would be. It was a "5 minutes you're next". Be a little more respectful yeah? Respectful of the people and their time. Needless to say, not coming back, learned my lesson and going elsewhere. Also, if you book online, they don't guarantee your appointment. I had made this appointment a week before at 12 last minute and they called me around 11:35 to let me know that they can't see me at 12, they could see me at 1:30 to which I could not wait I had to go to work, they told me appointment times online are not guaranteed. I have to admit I hadn't been to a dentist in an embarrassing number of years. I went to another dentists with my new insurance and they said I needed 10 cavities, but turns out it was four. I don't know what that's about but my teeth do not hurt at all, not sensitive or anything. The cleaning really made a difference. I was scared to get my cavities filled, I'm a HUGE wuss about needles, and mouth stuff is worse. Right? But they were so professional and understanding and that cliche is true: I would have gone earlier if I knew it wasn't going to be some huge and painful ordeal. Specifically Dr. Ghandour was great as well as his assistant Erick, and Ivan at the front desk really helped me out. I had to miss an appointment but he got me in pretty quickly. I'm sorry to say that I didn't get the other assistant's name, but she was great too. I don't really do reviews, but I am doing this one because they were so great and maybe if I had read it a year ago I'd have had an extra year of "fixed" teeth. I admit was I a little sketched out that the office is located in a little strip mall type thing on Belmont, but I think that's just because I grew up in the country and everything there was a stand alone building. The interior was very professional and clean, and they had some stuff to do and keep your mind off of any anxiety when COVID restrictions let us share video game consoles again. If you've read this far, you must really be nervous of going to the dentist. So, from one dental wuss to another, this place was great, it'll be my new spot for sure. read more

DO NOT go there. I would give a zero star if it was possible. My mom made an appointment for her crown. This male doctor literally drilled into my moms mouth while he was drilling her temporary filling off of her tooth. He poked her right side of her mouth when my mom said it was hurting. He told her not to move. Then he poked her again with that drill and she stopped him again. Started bleeding and he kept denying that he poked her. She felt something went into her mouth so she told him. Why would she lie about that? And why her mouth was bleeding when he was treating her tooth? I was there watching the whole time. I called him out but he kept saying that he didn't poke her mouth. At the end he said, it could happened and she is going to be okay. So dentist often poke patients mouth and that's fine? My mom couldn't eat or talk for 3 days because her mouth was hurting. I even took a picture of her wound. You can obviously tell that he drilled into her mouth. I was so upset that happened to my mom. AND he put this temporary crown and it was so big and thick that my mom couldn't close her mouth for 2 weeks while she was waiting on her actual crown to deliver. It was just really awful. My mom went through hell. We wanted to change to a different dentist but for insurane purpose, we had to finish her whole treatment at the same spot. Finally the last visit, we made an appointment at 4 and we literally waited an hour and 25 minutes. The dentist walked in at 5:23pm. Middle of her final treatment, this ASSISTANT name Mia or whatever, dropped this tool on my mom's forehead. Like WHAT the fuck?????? Immediately her forehead puffed up. I could not believe it. I mean is this place treating patients or hurting patients? I can not believe my mom had to go through this from the same place. I mean twice? This is not right. Completely a waste of time and a scam. They harass you until you make an appointment then when you finally do like I just did they make you wait nearly 2 hours! My appointment was at 2 and I just left at 3:55 and was not even seen by anyone nor was anyone in the lobby. NEVER AGAIN not having insurance and being in a tremendous amount of pain they had me sign up for a membership plan for $89.00 which seemed reasonable, and you then receive 40 percent off of any services needed. There prices are very high, I wanted a molar pulled because it was cracked they never showed me the x-rays I was to take their word for it. I was told the price would be $795 to surgically removed the tooth after 3 shots in my mouth the pain was still unbearable Dr Ehab Ghandour started to drill in to quarter my molar it hurt so bad I jumped out of the chair which jammed the drill deep into my molar. He had the audacity to tell me if it hurts just raise your hand. So he basically told me take pain killers he prescribed and amoxicillin for the infection and come back later. I have never experienced waiting as long as i did at Dental Town anywhere else! I had a 3:30 appointment. After filling out my paper work they said they would need a note from my doctor to do xrays (i'm pregnant). I don't understand why the xrays couldn't wait until my pregnancy since i was just getting a cleaning! But they said they wouldn't do my cleaning without the x-rays. I called my doctor finally and got them to send over a clearance. I then sat in the waiting room till about 5pm. They took me to the back to get the x-rays done. Then gave me a remote to sit and watch netflix until the doctor came. I got through 5 episodes of The Office (i kid you not). Yes, i waited over an hour until the doctor finally came in! Why make a 3:30 appointment if im not being seen until after 6? The doctor decided to do a deep cleaning and only do half and then wanted me to come in for the second half. Dr. Chen is a amazing and patient dentist. I won a 42 inch tv from here last year. The entire staff is nice and respectful. It's time for me to go back for a cleaning and some other dental work and I will be making that appointment soon! I rarely post reviews, but OOOO MYYY GOD, this dentist place is the best hands down!! I am so glad I decided to come here for my dental needs! The staff is great and they are super clean, they have tvs to watch while you wait for the dentist ( which isnt a long wait btw) , Dr. Yusuf is the best! He handled me with care and walked me through the entire process. I love the dentist now! I can honestly say I feel comfortable in this office! THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO FOR AN APPOINTMENT! Every single time I come here I wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before I get called into a room. The receptionists do not know how to communicate with their clients they don't know how to let a client know ahead of time if the doctor is running late or if the appointment will be pushed back none of that. I've been a manager of daily operations and the way they operate with their clients it seems as if they are double booking every appointment they have so they can make double the money but it doesn't do anything but leave clients frustrated and irritated to sit in an uncomfortable chair or stand up waiting and waiting when all of this could've been avoided by letting a client know what's going on instead of us sitting here confused about what time the appointment was for. What's the point of even having a schedule if you can't kept up with it or you're adding on too many services for clients. The receptionists have schedules with boxes and times that they obviously don't follow with horrible communication skills and it's funny because why do they send you 50 messages reminding you about when and what time your appointment is yet the appointment NEVER RUNS ON TIME!!! Its F***ing ridiculous if you ask me. Overall the doctors are good at what they do it's just the scheduling part that messes everything up. read more

I had a dental cleaning and follow-up on Monday, July 10th. The dentist who attended me was very nice and professional. The dental assistants and staff were also very nice. The dental assistant gave me a to-go bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, which is what you expect to get.
