Not a pleasant experience. Guy is condescending. I could tell right off he wasn't interested in being here. It was if my request was the last thing he wanted to do. I had glass in my disposal which caused the disposal to quit in turn my sink wouldn't drain. I explained that in had took out most of the glass but I was unable to get all of it. He kept flipping the switch on the disposal. Lucky him it started spinning again. Within a few spins it was crunching what was left. He was there maybe 7 mins and requested the 75 dollar fee. He came and pretended to fix some leaking values. Charged me the trade call fee from my home warranty and then was extremely rude to me when I called him to tell him it was still leaking. I was first introduced to Ron Rhodes The Plumber when i had my Home Owner Warranty. He fixed my A/C unit and took the time to not only explain what he did, but do also give me helpful hints on how to maintain it - which has helped me A LOT of the past few years. I needed help again recently, had kept his card on hand noting he was extremely helpful, and called him directly. He came out at my convenience and is a Miracle Worker! He aided me in several delimnas, steered me in the right direction to remedy things saving me about $2,000 and he only charged me $50. A great, caring person AND he knows what he's doing! I even recommended him to the building i work in! I will call Ron Rhodes every time i've got an issue that requires his expertise. read more

Guy came in. Did his work. Walked out and said bye as he closed the door. Did not tell me what work he did, have me sign acknowledging any work he did, or give me a receipt for his work. Did not tell he he was finished. Just walked out and said bye before he closed the door. I called to find out what was wrong with the leak, what he did, ect and he was very rude. Very rude. Told me it was not my business to know. That he was hired by the home warranty company and that was who he was dealing with. I did not need to have any receipt and even asked me why it was my business to have a receipt from him. read more

This plumber was used through my home warranty. He was more interested in the granite in my kitchen than in the issue that was at hand with my AC unit. He stayed for about 7 minutes. Looked at the outdoor fan then messed with the thermostat. The majority of the 7 minutes was to discuss the how where and the what how much of my granite. My husband tried calling him about 2 hours later to discuss his findings and he never returned his call. I text him twice and called a few days later and nothing. A total waste is out time and money since we still had to pay a $75 service fee. Do not work with this man, you will be charged with nothing in return and you will never hear from him again! read more

I have used Ron's services since 2008, haven't had to use him in a,few years, but today, he showed me that he is all class and integrity. My water heater went out in my new home, and he told me exactly what the problem was, even though he doesn't service my kind of heater. He didn't charge me, but he gained a customer for life. I was very satisfied with the work that Ron did for me. He called me shortly after I put in the request to my insurance company. He was able to do the work on the same day which was very important to me. He arrived when he said he would. He replaced my garbage disposal quickly and was very polite. He did not give me paperwork but I have that via my email from my insurance company. He left his card. I was concerned after reading some of the prior reviews but I am very happy that I did not request that someone else be sent. read more

If I could give this guy 0 stars I would. Extremely rude and unprofessional. He's lazy and just doesn't want to complete jobs. He was hired by my home warranty to come fix my furnace. When he calls to schedule the initial appointment I said I was free anytime after 11. He says "well 11:05, 11:10, 11:15 what? When you say after 11 that could mean anything!" I let that go. He shows up to my house and I could just tell he was a jerk. Anyways, I was still nice. He's looking at my furnace and goes "there's nothing wrong with it. Those gas guys are idiots and they don't know as much as me." He keeps going on and on. I said well I don't understand why they would put a hazardous tag out sticker if there's nothing wrong. He says "Well did you piss him off?!" I said no he was actually really nice. The problem fixed on its own when he arrived so basically he wrote no failure or no repair on my receipt. After he left, 10 minutes later the heat shut off and back to square on. It didn't work. I called my home warranty and she called him. He was rude to her and wouldn't even let her explain what happened. Do NOT hire him. Give your hard earned dollars to someone else who is more deserving. DON'T BOTHER. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. He is rude and not professional. Insurance company arranged this guy to fix my sister's home A/C problem on the second floor. He came and looked at the A/C unit on the back. Changed something, with no explanation what he did. N document, nothing. He did not even check upstairs if it was working properly(cooling). There was another issue(which was on the same order) for the thermostat controller in the home mounted on the wall. He did not even look at it and did not touch it. He just said he will check with ins. and come back. Then he got into his truck and ran away. He was acting really weird also. Basically, DO NOT LET this guy get into your home for any reason and do not let him touch any unit to fix. read more

First a word of caution: make sure the business name you are looking for isn't being used in other areas. Just read a negative one and noticed it was from Virginia- BFD! Ron Rhodes - The Plumber I use services areas in Riverside County, California and both have the same nor de plume and that ends my French. When I first called my Home warranty company his firm was assigned. He came out promptly, determined the water heater needed to be replaced. He removed it and installed a new one within hours. All the while explaining and showing how to take care of the system in the future. That was in November last year. This year for some reason the heater decided not to work. At first I was assigned a company that couldn't make it out for 5 days. Don't know about you but cold showers are not something to look forward too. I then asked to be reassigned Ron. Not same day service as before but he was there the next day at the appointed time. Unfortunately he wasn't able to fix the issue but he determined the problem was not the water heater but with a breaker in the electrical panel. Between the warranty company, Ron and I we were able to have an electrician to come out the same day and at no additional cost.
